Recon:

As a Recon Regimental, I focused on critical team-building during my term. The Recon Regiment was extremely divided when I first became RCMD. That’s why I prioritized joint training to build relationships. It was highly needed and had massive success within the battalions. Outside of joint activities and events, we focused on learning the fundamental recon tactics that the military uses. Each battalion had its own goal to achieve, and they did just that.

 

Siege:

As the Siege Regimental Commander, one of the very first acts I did was to reach out to every battalion in the regiment and understand what they wanted to achieve and how I could help in achieving those goals. Along with that, I prioritized team-building within the regiment by encouraging the battalions to train, patrol, or deploy together. I would say that most of the goals that were set were achieved.

Battalion Commander:

As the BCMD for CG, I made many changes, like organization and stability. Starting with a fresh wipe of all documents, new and improved documents were put into place that helped organize everything immensely. Next, I implemented a training and teamwork program, helping internal relations. After that, we had stabilization, where transparency was key. The troopers were updated and knew what I and the battalion was going to do. The last act was more generalized, as it fixed up external parts of the battalion like relations, code of conduct, etc.

 

 Commander (2017/18):

 

When I was a commander of CG, I made most of my preparations for any changes that were to come when someone was to run for BCMD. I made a lot of significant changes as commander. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the full authority to change the CG yet wholly, so I held it together; Commander Noodles and Commander Reaper helped me give partial stabilization by working by my side. Sadly, it was hard to keep since many people were unfit for the position. This was more of a testing period for anything and everything that I would implement.

 

Commander (2021/22):

 

When I first came back to the server, I saw CG was struggling to keep numbers, so I started a recruitment drive. With the help of Noodles and Opa, we were able to get CG to a state where we had a 24-hour rotation of people. Once the activity issue was resolved, I needed to think of a way to retain the players, which led to Battalion Goals and Regiment Goals; these were incentivized programs to help every member do something other than stay frozen on a post until an AOS happened. Once that was complete, I moved on to updating and centralizing most of the documents in CG and creating a central hub for those documents.

 

Why should you become a Marshal Commander?: 

 

I always try to maintain a calm demeanor and think rationally while in high-stress situations. Along with that, if I’m ever asked for advice or guidance, I make sure to actually look over the idea or plan and offer any insight if possible. I can take criticism and analyze any mistakes and learn from them. Lastly, I believe I am mature enough to change my opinion on matters, looking at ideas from other perspectives

 

I also strive and prioritize for the long-term health of a battalion rather than a short-term benefit- though there are instances where I do break this in dire straits. Now, the reasoning behind that is that the ‘short-term benefits’ almost always come with a demerit.

Where do you want the Grand Army to be at the end of your term?: 

Communication:

I want all my goals for communication to be achieved, and I want a solid flow of communication of information to be constantly being pushed through High Command to the entire server. I feel Communication has been an issue recently, and want this greatly improved.

 

Leadership:

For a while, I believe we haven’t been doing the best job of promoting leadership and continuing growth in the server. I want leadership to become the main priority and by the end of term, I want my regimentals to be pushing their BCMDs for future growth in our current Enlisted and NCO cores.

 

Morale: 

Recently, overall server morale has hit a rock bottom, and I feel with the update being recently released this is our time to capitalize off of the server improvements and get battalions to be motivated again to start innovating with tactics, communication, leadership, and all of the above.

 

How do you plan to improve relations within the Grand Army?:

Plan of Action:

Communication

Currently, most of the battalions have an open-door policy and host frequent joint training with each other. However, I feel as though this could be improved by implementing a biweekly meeting that involves commanders or above, representing their battalion and what they wish to do. This could be further improved by adding HC to the mix and joining in on this and/or a separate meeting altogether. This will also somewhat go in hand with my next section.

 

Transparency: 

I believe transparency could be a key part of this, as it’ll make more of the battalion feel included. This can be utilized in meetings or in a weekly update set in a channel. Even allowing a channel for troopers to speak, suggest, or criticize can empower them.

 

Guidance

I actively engage with talks and even welcome them, whether it be Jedi, Clone, or Naval, I offer insight, suggestions, and compromises on any ideas that someone may bring up to me. Now, I plan to expand this upon the entirety of all battalions by also offering a guiding or active helping hand in whichever battalion may require or have a need for it. 

 

Morale

Morale is one of the most important things on the server, and it is crucial for a battalion or regiment to have it. Now, the fervor for the Siege Regiment has increased just by saying a simple line every now and then. While my plan for morale won’t be saying “GAR!”, it will have an actual motion that I plan to discuss with the BCMDs+

Xaze I believe is by far the most capable and qualified candidate for the job. Two regimental positions, many leadership positions, and the determination to get it all done. He has worked so hard as Siege Regimental and he did most of the goals he set up. I know he can do everything he wishes to do as Marshal.

Xaze is one of the ONLY people in High Command i've felt comfortable approaching about anything, be it serious or somewhat mingy on downtime. I feel that being able to talk and cooperate with both of those kinds of people is something essential in a good MCMD. Xaze has that, and many other traits that are desirable by the community. By far one of the best people, and Siege Regimentals i've had the pleasure of working alongside and talking to. I will be absolutely sad you won't be my Siege Reg, but you are too deserving of this position. +1 Xaze. Good luck.

Eyo, I'm not trying to take cred away from our BCMDs, but Xaze has made Siege into something special, and easily the best regiment. I have always felt like I could talk to Xaze, and legit have a normal conversation with him. He's approachable, like you could grab a drink with this man. I've seen a lot of other commanders, outside of Synergy as well as inside, and believe me, he is as good as they get. I don't often feel this strongly about people, but he has gone above and beyond, and honestly, I'd want to see him as head of the server one day. He cares about Synergy, he cares about Siege, and as Marshal Commander I know he will make Synergy into something it has never been before. You can't go wrong with this guy.
