How do you feel your previous term went?:

I feel like my previous term was a great success. I was able to complete a lot of the goals I had set up, and help with a bunch of other things I hadn’t planned on. I was able to focus on working on not just my personal goals, but also help assist with the goals of other people as well. On top of that, I feel like I have improved the communication between the high command and the rest of the server to an incredible degree. Save a couple of ROA/LOA for the holidays. My activity has stayed consistent throughout my term and my love for the job has not diminished!

 

Why do you wish to remain Supreme Chancellor Palpatine?:

Honestly I am really enjoying the position and how I’ve grown it and myself to be an advisor and problem solver for the community. I am happy to be a person that people go to in order to help them out with things not just on the server but in real life as well. Being seen as this figure that people trust to go to for things such as college applications, interest in buying stocks, girl troubles, whatever it may be just makes me feel so full of pride and joy in everyone I work with. These feelings and the ability to maintain helping people out is a huge part of who I am and is one of my favorite things on this server.

 

Furthermore I want to cement some of what I’ve been doing into a more regular part of what it means to be chancellor. The openness with the community through updates to keep people informed on what has been done and what is happening is a key part of Palpatine's job. I feel like I've been able to accomplish this aspect, and want to keep instilling a sense of trust from the community into the position through maintaining and upkeep these systems.

I work Monday-Friday from 8 AM-4 PM EST. I am free outside of these hours.

 

What are some of your achievements during your past term?:

I’m gonna do my biggest 3 and talk about them a bit. While I've done more than 3, I don't want to have a page with 100 things I've done.

My biggest achievement that I'm most proud of is coming up with my Bi-Weekly, From the Office of High Command update. The creation of this was due to a lot of feedback I have heard about previous chancellors where people don’t know what they do or how they spend their time. The amount of positive feedback I have heard about people being excited to read the update this week and how If I’m late a day they’re disappointed has been resounding and I am very happy with how it has gone.

 

My second producest achievement is my usage of Bi-Weekly meetings with each of my regiments, regimental equivalents, and the marshal. This has been paramount for me to make sure I’m staying informed in all aspects of the server and not just focusing on specific groups at a time. I have at times in the past found myself focusing on one or two things at a time, but sometimes losing sight of the overarching view of the server. Furthermore, this allows for the people under me to have a platform with me to discuss any issues they might be having and discuss anything they need to with consistency so they don’t feel like I am ignoring them for any reason.

 

The training discord is one of the things I am certain will remain far after my term is over. I am beyond happy with the outcome of its creation and how people have utilized it. Having a point for training documents to be easily findable regardless of your battalion can be a huge help to players given a large amount of training on the server. Furthermore being able to see how many people are searching for individual training 

 

What improvements or changes do you plan on making within the Grand Army?:

Right now two of the factions are still in a large transitional period. Both the Navy and the Guild have recently made a lot of changes. First and foremost I will be watching over these to help ensure that they settle after these changes and can continue to grow into stronger factions.

 

With the passing of this server suggestion: https://synergyroleplay.com/forums/topic/29451-add-more-faces-and-formations-to-cc-training/ I plan on ensuring that these changes are prepared for and every battalion acts accordingly so as not to ensure that new players don’t go to a tryout and feel like they’re missing something or are left out. Battalions will be able to teach faces and formations if they wish, or not to, it will be up to them. I will simply ensure that if battalions wish to maintain something with faces and formations that they no longer test them without training them to their recruits.

 

I’ll be honest I don’t have many big plans for this term. I feel like a lot of the systems I’ve put in place have quelled many of the issues that were presented to me when I initially researched within the community. I simply wish to maintain these changes to the best of my ability to help solidify them more like things that are expected of a Chancellor. These being namely my open-door policy, the bi-weekly updates to ensure that the community is up to date with what I’m doing, the bi-weekly updates with regimental and equivalents to ensure that all blockers are removed from their path and I stay up to date, and to continue my activity on the job of chancellor in the game so that I can help push interactions with players to the best of my ability!

Please for the love of god Conrad get your shit approved by the directors first so we don't run into situations where people aren't being told one thing but the server rules say another. If you get this down to a science I think you will be the best palpatine I have seen in 3 years. Do that little thing and improve on the over the top front line palpy and I think everything will be fine. As someone who has had to try and deal with a few of the hiccups it is frustrating for sure, other than that i think you have been doing a pretty alright job minus a few incidents but who doesn't have a few lmao.

Best Palpatine I've ever seen.

People are saying stuff like "One of the best", and if you're not THE best, holy fuck those other guys must have been PHENOMENAL. Because you're doing an insanely good job. Even just an extremely active presence in a leadership position has a huge positive effect on the playerbase. You've gotten very good at using your in game position to make the server a better place. It's a shame you don't get SA from Palpatine anymore, but I think you could continue to be an amazing leader.

You get a lot of compliments because of how much really good stuff you do. I'm worried that it might one day go to your head. That being said, I love you man and hope people remember your Palpatine term(s) for years to come.

Conrad is one person that I've met that genuinely cares about the server and people within it. He can literally take minges, take them around the server and convert them into actual roleplayers. He did that with me, and many other people. And he is extremely dedicated to his position, and everyone in it.
