  3. This is the same issue as my bug post earlier but better defined, gamemasters cant spawn OR target entities, players, or anything else that isn't specifically their own prop.

  5. 4/5/5 - No lag and lots of effort, but we could've had more variety in enemy types or challenges rather than run-shoot-run. Still, very fun!

  9. 4/5/5, Very cool kanye! Gameplay wasn't perfect but that's not something that you can always control, combat was spread out but sometimes it felt like i was staring at a door for 15 minutes. Otherwise very epic
  10. 4/5/5 - Barely any lag, a little something for everybody but there was definitely moments with a lack of action. Very large scale while still being very careful!

  12. Bug Type (Server:): CW Severity level (Low - Medium - High): High Evidence (if you can): Description of the bug: Anyone with just "Gamemaster" permissions cannot spawn entities. Normally, this means 'able to spawn vehicles' at a minimum, but since the reset this morning I have been unable to spawn vehicles, music discs, bacta dispensers, or any other item in the Entities tab. No Error or undo message appears. How can we recreate it: Set yourself to GM and try to spawn something
  13. This appears to be a very similar incident to my ban. Absolutely unjustified. To ban someone for doing something bad, especially RDM, there has to be some kind of intent to do it. Of course he meant to kyber slam, but he didn't mean to friendly fire a ton of troopers. If we banned people for RDM every time a ship/tank ran someone over, nobody would be left on the server. Accidents will be accidents, what happened to talking to people? hey dragon guess what +1 free my homie also chambers stop lurking and get back on i miss u

  15. +1 I think the event server itself is not the reason people don't come back after a deployment, but rather the time it happens. Keep in mind the (my estimate) average player is in highschool/college or works a normal job and almost all deployments happen in the evening. When a deployment occurs at 6-7-8pm EST, it is bound to end near 9 or 10pm EST, which is when people would normally get off the server anyways. All that's happening is they spend their time at peak hours on ES, then they hop off afterwards because IRL > RP. Weekends are an exception for a majority of players but I digress. Could the quality of events on ES not inspire more people to come? It's possible. With the rise of Synergy being put on Youtube and shared with others outside of our own circle, the ES can provide a facet for more advanced and intense roleplay scenarios resulting in the effect of, "Holy shit, Synergy just did an event where we got to rob a bank" and sharing it with their non-synergy audience. But respectable content creators who want to see the server succeed will not post the laggy mess that occurred yesterday. Those who discover the server themselves and experience it first hand were immediately disappointed or unsatisfied with, what is supposed to be, a very important mission for their character. Anybody who was around during the event server remembers that while every deployment is not always the greatest, it at least allowed for memories to be made. At this time, I can't advocate for the GM team to continue hosting deployments unless A) it's less than 50-60 population or B) there's a less-laggy alternative. At the end of the day, I know this server is a business and a company before it is anything else. But the main thing we provide is experiences with the Store being our "Gift Shop" to support the server. Bad experiences will always directly correlate to less plushies sold at the gift shop.
  16. I’m glad everyone enjoyed the concept, but the lag was even painful for me to watch. A sort of regret always goes over me when I see a ton of people laggin like today, like I said in debrief the event was with the idea that 40-50 people would deploy on a Wednesday, not 100. So I couldn’t just whip up a million regiments worth of ideas. But trust me, I have in the past and Will host multi-faceted deployments in the future.
