How do you feel your previous term went?:

 I honestly have had a blast as Palpatine, between the dynamic roleplay and the leadership it all felt fun. 

Why do you wish to remain a Supreme Chancellor Palpatine?: 

I feel that I stepped into the position with the goal of helping the flow of the server and assisting roleplay where it can be. And honestly I’ve enjoyed it. That portion of the server and helping people mess around do RP, but also help people understand boundaries on when something goes far and helping them find it feels great.

What are some of your achievements during your past term?:

It is hard for me to list them, because none of them feel like achievements but merely me doing my job as Palpatine. My goals were fulfilled but I’d love to continue them and see them grow but at the end of the day, my biggest achievement I see is in you all. The way you grow and adapt in each situation whether I guided you through it or gave a helping hand with the fun. To see you all on the server doing the things you do and growing as individuals is truly the only achievement I can confidently put here. 

What improvements or changes do you plan on making within the Grand Army?: 

By keeping my previous mission statement and staying connected with you all and your High Command. Though this time around I’d like to talk to and get the views of more officers and how they handle things and see if I can offer aid/insight to help make their lives easier.

+1 Bro, I stepped into my role as Marshal and you welcomed me with open arms. I feel a strong dynamic duo between the two of us and I've looked to you for some of the harder decisions I've had to make. I always appreciate your guidance and support and I hope it continues going forward.

I will be +1ing but with that being said I have a few things to say. 

I am sure you have done a plentiful amount of internal work for HC and the server as a whole, with that being said, internal work comes with a lot of criticism. With a lack of proper communication, it's come off to many people I have spoke to that you have done close to nothing, seeing as your only public announcement was that of wiping roll bonuses. 

For a second term, I urge you to try and communicate better with the server per ongoing matters, things being considered, tabled items, the lot. This not just for you outward appearance, but for the benefit of the server as a whole.

-1 okay ima be honest here, first off I would like to say that I was only there for 2/3 months of your term so I can not necessarily speak on the month I wasn’t there. From what I heard though the only thing you really did was remove roll bonuses. Although I am sure there was a lot of other things you did behind the scenes, your communication was not very good and the only real interaction I saw you have with the troopers was CG escorting you every time you were on. Now I get that Palpy is like a 3rd director in a sense but you are also supposed to be someone who other players can look to for role play and you didn’t really do that in my eyes.

During the adaptation of SOBDE from a regiment to a battalion you didn't appear involved from my point of view. In the absence of both the regimental and Marshall I feel like it falls on you to help oversee this change. Can you help set my mind at ease on this as it just feel like you should have been a bit more hands on in some of the processess.

You spend most of your time on the server as jobs that aren't palpatine. I'm curious as to why you don't happen to be on it a lot. I know behind the scenes work is just as important, but its also nice to have the figurehead of palpatine to introduce role play to the server.

Can you explain your thought process on the removal of role bonuses. The server has prided itself on recently being more open in the decision making process, it feels like the circumstances around this change do not fall in line with this. Right now all myself and every person I've talked to know is they just got removed.

This app reads very poorly. It reads like you think you're already going to get the position and don't feel like putting time into an reapp. I ask that you put some time into it please so we can see what behind the scene changes you have made to more properly assess your term as palpatine.

Sure I'd love to touch on some of these points!

1.) My help was more geared towards assisting Metro directly with issues he's had and could bring up to me in addition to ideas or changes he wanted to make to the battalion. During this term I've played the role of Marshall and 2 Regimentals and most of that had been set to having chats with BCMDs and HC of those battalions to help with issues they had and were not made as public. In this case with SOBDE I did not want to be too hands on as the project was guided and assisted by Jad and Woeny. In terms I did not want too many cooks to be in the kitchen while the idea was so young. 

2.) To touch on my hours as Sheev, I did make sure to log 2-3 hours minimum each time I got on the server. When stepping on other jobs was for me to get a different angle of RP and playing with the community. Being Sheev all the time gets a bit hard when constantly surrounded and bombarded with in character propositions but mostly out of character issues that are brought to me. I'm sorry if we didn't get much of an opportunity to roleplay with each other while I was on Sheev, but I've spent a most of my time on the old man himself then I did my pilot or Jedi. In the attempt to make myself better seen while on the server I will try to allocate these ooc topics or issue brought to me to be in TS then instead of just in game. 

3.) I personally didn't remove roll bonuses, those were taken away during an update and was never enforced, so I stepped up to make the announcement about it and made sure documents were rewritten for the rule that had already been implemented. Though look through it I can see were people may thought it was purely my choice or that it was mine to make, but it was mine to enforce as a roleplay rule. From what I believe and what I heard the bonus was removed due to it limiting players who weren't moving up into certain regiments where there is such a limited amount of slots for (ie. Support, who has the role of ENG/PLT/EOD/Tech and puts a lopsided view on people who should be doing it versus people who are trained for it.) The bonus also only truly helped those who were leads or officers in regiments and not many of the members inside of it.

So I answered the first portion in the question above but I wanted thank you for the critique I've noticed between you and Guac's post that I did not openly communicate a lot of the things I did in the background, because most of the time it  is a hushed away thing that I cannot openly speak about, most of my duties this time was to keep a check and balance on the server's HC. Though I will keep this in mind for the future on trying to get more information out that I can, but I ask that you understand most of the things I hear are behind a closed channel where things are ranked locked and I can't always openly talk about issues that come my way due to their privacy.

Every interaction I've had with you has been very enjoyable and professional, and I've had a good amount of fun with you on Palpatine. Others have said it before me, I personally find behind the scenes stuff interesting, so don't be afraid to let people know what's going on if you can, it helps with transparency.

I have seen you on your Rancor Pilot Sicko more than Sheev, but I understand that it takes a certain person to enjoy Palpy RP.

Your answers to Conrad questions where very much Politician answers, in my eyes, saying you were there and almost just covering your ass. I want to know what you have done and what you intend to do. Your app states that you don't wish to list them as they are just "you doing your job" but it just makes your app look shallow and seem like you haven't done anything of note.

This isn't me getting at you, merely trying to peel back the layers and seeing what's beneath it all.

imo, palpatine's job is to grease the wheels and keep an observant eye on those below him. You've done an excellent job on the former, and a bit worse of a job on the latter.

You're the only reason most of the senate proposals I wanted were implemented, and you've been the one-stop person to go to for absolutely anything RP related, which is great. You've also been very active and communicative in high command, which is awesome too.

The only problem has been, in my opinion, how you've handled issues arising with some regimentals and BCMDs that dont have regimentals during your term. It seems pretty much anyone could get away with anything recently, whether it be inactivity or disciplinary. I won't get into specifics because it's all very subjective, but it would have been nice to see at least a bit more action on that front. 

That being said, definite +1. The former outweighs the latter in my mind, and you've been an overall very good influence on the community. Keep it up big man.

Sure thing! I'll list all things I have actively with as much information as I can due to the private nature of some things.
-Attended and hosted 153 meetings, 42 of them were planned or with BCMDs/RCMD about their status, things they need help with, things they want to change, and finally assisting them with making those first steps.

-Managed the needs and wants of a MCMD in absence of one

-PT'd and handled two battalion wide issues and resolved the misbehavior of BCMDs (Names and battalions are private due to not wanting to throw people under the bus)

-Viewed and gave minor critique/feedback about updates of the server

-Provide feedback and assisted with changes in the Commander rights, allowing BCMD+'s an updated system to work with

-Assisted and pushed for changes within the Senate (Through Jova's view and insight)

-Pushed for an open door policy to allow members to sit and express issues with me whether that be in a meeting or my feedback form in my channel (https://bit.ly/2TX0blc)

-Assisted BH's with the opportunity to be contracted by the Republic by lowering the rank to BCMD as a test phase and hopefully down to CMD+ (And maybe lower in the future)

-Push personalized roleplay and attempting to adjust people's POV on how to handle character situations

-Overviewed the new process of allowing BH's in the CIS and adjusting rule sets for them (At the time Dooku was Bacta, and wanted to see this change)

This round of being Sheev felt more about me trying to glue and hold together portions of the server by myself, which at the time wasn't an issue but to say the least I am grateful to see high command filling out. I know of recently my activity may have been a little less due to me adjusting my schedule with an addition job irl. I understand its a little weird to see me on another job, but currently I see it is harder to have troopers RP with Sheev rather then another clone. I do put my hours in Sheev before any job because I signed up for it, but I suppose time zone could push away from when you see me on or when I'm on Sheev. The first time I signed up for Chancellor I promised "...see the regiments  to be busy and be able to have fun on the server with themselves or each other. I’d see that people are comfortable with roleplay and be able to maintain a standard when combat situations arise..." Which I actively viewed and helped with. In this sense I wish to continue this. To alleviate this in the future I was given the idea (which I thought would be fun and help) is by doing a bi-weekly/weekly news letter saying things that have happened, or changes to look forward too since it can get kinda hard to see what I do from behind the scenes and would help grant a small window of what I manage! (That being said the news letter wouldn't have certain details to protect the identity of battalions/people within them)

Thanks you for getting back to me and clearing it up, as you dan guess in why I ask, I dint just vote for people if I don't know what they have done or who they are. I know who you are but I didnt know what you did, that is due in part of being HC (people didn't know what I did when I was SPEC REG so that was always fun).

This has cleared up my worries and I am happy with you going for another term.

+1 From my perspective, Bro has been doing a more than fine job as Palpatine. I see him around quite a bit on the job where some seem to have seen him absent. I also understand there is a bit of a face of the operation deal and a back of the house deal that every sort of leadership role has to deal with. I know that not all the work they do might be immediately obvious to the rest of the server. Overall as the character Palpatine, he has handled himself well and tried to make enjoyable situations for others from what I've seen. I'd like to see more of him as palps.
