  1. -1 I might be mistaken, but I was under the impression there was a HL2 rocket ammo box that loaded up to 4-6 rockets (I forget the max amount in half life). If a GM wants you to have more rockets, I would suppose they'd spawn that in for you. Otherwise, you should probably conserve them and keep at least 1 for a target(s) that actually needs it.

    Turrets Mk. 3

    +1 Want shoot big gun.
  3. I mean yeah. It's 1 damage more and it adds 1 damage per shot while increasing the accuracy would also increase the amount of shots that actually land their hits. I think with the proposed shield buffs, they'll already be pretty alright at anchoring a location but with increased accuracy, I think they could already be really good and wouldn't need the damage buff. As discussed above by Jad, if I had to take one or the other I'd rather take the accuracy buff. I don't recall the CG helmet off the top of my head, but yeah. I mean like I said, it's subjective but I like the standard heavy helmet. Sorry if it doesn't line up with your preferences.
  4. Overbuffing multiple sections at once is very rarely a good idea. I agree with maybe increasing their accuracy, but I'd much rather wait for the shield buff to get a response to gauge the HVY effectiveness (damage is not the only measure of worth). Okay, so... we're doing this. Anyone who doesn't care about fighting games can skip to the end of the segment. In DBFZ, you utilize multiple characters in a tag team of 3. This is commonly referred to as Point (primary meterless char), Mid (2nd or auxiliary character) and Anchor (heaviest meter eating character). Frieza is typically the latter and pops off with meter (though there are better chars, most of the dlc roster). And no, you don't have to even play as golden frieza to get golden... you just have to build meter on your other chars and get a hard knockdown into install. Similar to the different equipment a trooper's kit might have (DC-15a, Z-6 Rotary, shield if given) you do not use only one part but all these parts in conjunction to measure the worth. Your analogy is that because an aspect of a kit is really good, you need to buff the worse off aspects to compete. Subjective In a game with not great hit registration, latency, etc it is really hard to keep a weapon about pumping out as much firepower as possible relevant with a damage scaling as well as keeping it relevant in the overall metagame of the weapons. If we buff Z-6 damage and it turns out stronger than the ARF sniper in DPS, do we buff that next? Do we buff the SUP shotty in response to that? Also if you can't hit things at point blank then that sounds like a genuine skill issue.
  5. I know this point is already voided and discussed by others by this time, but I just wanna expand since not many mentioned it. If there are people in their ARCL positions you genuinely feel are unable to handle it or aren't fulfilling their responsibilities, you can just try to talk to them. Most BCMDs are fairly level headed guys you can bring down into a room to chat with or trade DMs with over discord. With that said, each battalion functions independently and you should respect that even if you are not given the answer you were hoping for.
  6. Just placing my thoughts on each in red so the post isn't giant.
  7. +1 I've known you for a minute now and I think you've done good work in the positions you've previously held. As well, most of the bat seems to also be supporting you and speaking highly enough of your drive.
  8. 9/10 Even though I came in a little late, it wasn't really hard for me to get up to speed. DM let me use RP background to help assist with the ongoing events and it felt more BHish than most deployments I've done as hunter.
  9. +1 Why not. I don't even have a sidearm as Rancor HVO.
  10. I don't really care if it is specifically sith or not, but a more consistent antagonist faction would be nice for both giving something to do during downtime as well as for hostile hunters to have a potential partner for. It would potentially lead to [x] mains that might detract from the general clone playerbase at peak times (especially on launch). But I feel like just asking "Would you like to see sith come back?" without potential proofs of concepts and such will make people feel concerned about the thought (which is fair).
  11. From my extensive testing of blowing myself up often, just about any entity seems like it can.
  12. I read the title and instantly went to -1, but I was relieved upon reading it. +1
  13. +1 I think this seems like a good idea and I assume the current leadership/members of DU are cool with handing over their shields to the rest of jobs? If it comes to it, I think it'd be fine to let them keep shields on a majority of their jobs while having shields in other bats remain specifically for heavy.
  14. It's kinda hard. Hunters don't really have any other faction to interact with more (with consistency) aside from the guild and clones. If half of the guild are currently where clones are, the other half will probably head there to interact with them too. If we prevented them from coming in then we'd be more a barrier to RP than encouraging of it. It's a privilege in that you have to be approved for it, sure. And yeah, I kinda hate the "Ha. If you look at me wrong, I'll blow off your legs... wait, what do you mean I'm being told to leave base?" mentality. People just are edgy on any job though so I started tuning it out. And yeah, there isn't really an easy way to do the inverse either because some players just like being annoying to be annoying. I was under the impression that this was the intent of RSB at the time. To add consequences for hunters that had made the funny most wanted board or whatever... that only a handful of people typically even see. But regardless, I'd again argue that not giving a pass (without good reason, i.e. them identifying themselves to be the most wanted clan rn) is more harmful to an RP environment than helpful. In the same vein though, throw them out if they are stupid but don't abuse the privilege to do so.
  15. 9/10 Made good use of stealth based DMing and such to help people feel impactful.
  16. 7/10 Nice little combat scenario, not much story but it definitely helped pass the time.
  17. 8/10 Honestly had a lot of fun. I think it might've been more enjoyable if maybe there were multiple sets of groups that troopers and jedi could've engaged on across Anaxes, but it was really enjoyable regardless. Like some other said, plot was a bit all over.

    Siege of Umbara

7/10 Nice event to keep people entertained. Thanks.
  19. Eh. A rotating roster is a thing for certain games like deathwatch and stuff. I don't really see why it couldn't be done for star wars too if too many people is an issue. Though that'd be up to the host.
  20. Yeah, I think it'd be a good precedent to have in general since I don't think it should be causing too many issues.
  21. +1 Both would be nice. SUP doesn't just have to mean pilot and it'd let the GM SUP fit the other units while on the ground.
  22. For clarification, was this related to activity checks (they were pinged to reply and didn't after not having been on/promoted in a long time) or people who were on actual LOAs? If he was just stiffing people who had actually given their reason and all, was there any overhead at the time to rebuke his decisions?
