Blazin is by far the best candidate currently for the position for Yoda, There is NO ONE I see potentially doing a better job than him. Blazin has not been afraid to get experimental with the order and also strives to break the old traditions of it. He has solid plans for the order going forward and during his time as Battalion Overseer hes has only pushed the Jedi Order into a positive direction. He also does my fucking head in. +1, Keep the Order the Best Section of the Server.

Lets be honest. The entire Jedi Force Power and Skill Tree system needs ripped apart and rebuilt. So +1 to any actual change to it

Super has made me look like an absolute fool when it has come to my criticism towards him previously. Not only has he proved me wrong in all the things ive had to say about him. Hes also shown me so many new perpectives on how to run the order. As for Supers time as Yoda I think hes had FAR more positives than negatives overall. In terms of the issue of bias and favourtism, I can assure you Super has receipts for every single decision he has made and that situation was the biggest headache ive had the displeasure to experience. If I were to rank Super in his time as Yoda i would rank him towards the upper echelon of Yodas due to the stability and experimentation he has done within the order. Super has also given himself a massive backbone which is a great benefit towards him being a High Command Member. As for his Palpatine App, I can say it does lack alot of fine details that would be very benefiting to have. HOWEVER, having the pleasure of being able to work within the same order with him and sitting down with him throughout the majority of this term, I can say I have strong confidence in him being Palpatine and I also see Palpatine as a better position for him than Yoda. Overall Super has kept the renaissance of the Jedi Order going while leaving behind a foundation that will continue it going for Yodas to come. He has blown past all my expectations for him and has been the most stable Yoda in my entire 5 years on Synergy. He more than fit for the job of Palpatine, he doesnt need to reinvent the wheel for this position. Plus. Fucking. 1.

Gotta say, There are few people that I hold their opinion to such a high regard. Knowing Tetra, from my time before Yoda and my time years after as windu, Tetra rarely for me misses. If this is what tetra has to say on the case of super getting a 2nd term, then this is a massive red flag and worring trend for the Jedi Order. If the Windu, Multiple Council and Masters have an issue, ESPECIALLY the Windu with the Yoda getting another term. Then this should be taken very seriously. I agree with alot of what Tetra is saying, I too believe Supers first 2 months have been fantastic, Ive actually on and said directly to him during these first 2 months that he could potentially be the greatest Yoda synergy has ever had. He took over this massive revival of the Jedi Order, rebuilt with Former Yoda and Windus and was apart of the first new generation and the First Yoda not from a previous generation in a long time. (Atleast so I believe). But as Tetra says, This last month has been a massive difference in quality, Majority of what Tetra says I agree with and all that I agree with has Super unfortunately in the middle and while there is a few things I disagree with Tetra on, This is something that is rather an issue of the Master Team and not the Yoda Directly. Ive taken time to listen to Masters, those who support and those who dont. I even regretfully sat in a channel for 8 whole hours listening to the most ridiculous statements and opinions.. from inside and out (Never again). Im worried there is going to be a massive divide, that we are moving towards the sun setting on this golden era that the Jedi Order has been through, But if we want to continue with the momentum the Jedi order has and work on the fixable issues within the Jedi Order, I have reasonable confidence that this cannot be achieved under its current Yoda and a new candidate needs to be selected. Super, Your contributions towards the Jedi Order and the server have been immense and as time will go on, Im confident people will remember you for all the good you brought into this order. But under these circumstances, I cannot possibly support you for a 2nd Term. For that I must -1

Yes, Im fully aware that for particular bans you may be open to giving the infomation. To focus more on what I was proposing, was that Community Bans (Apart from illegal actvity) should have a write up on the forums, similar to the one Logic has and funnily the post was now hidden and the list was updated within an hour of me pointing it out. I guess that was just forgot that it up and didnt remove it till now. Community Bans are the capital punishment of Synergy and I was more envisioning the idea that when someone is Community Banned, There would be a addition to the community ban infomation explaining what reasons and any examples/evidence that can be provided. That way if people feel passionately about this ban and dont feel its warranted, it opens up the chance for people to discuss it on the forums and judge if this ban a Community Ban Worthy. By doing it privately 1 on 1 and infomation going towards people that are initially curious, it closes away a discussion that may bring more people in to weigh their opinions with others. (On second thought I just realised why that post was hidden...)

So, Ive been seeing a couple things that has been concerning to me that I feel there needs to be a discussion on. As of recent there has been a growing lack of transparancy on decisions made by Community Leadership regarding well known Community Members and additionally the lack of communication on progress towards the next update, (Yes theres an update coming, But the months leading up to this has been rather silent). To start with, Within the last year there has been a considerable amount of Community Bans done silently with no explanation and only a handfull of people really knowing the full reason as to why they were done. Some of these people that were banned include but not limited to... A Former Senior Dev/Map Creator, A Multi Positioned Member of the Community that achieved MoH and also several vocal members of this community. My question to community leadership. Is why does the community not get a chance to read the reasons of why these people were Community Banned. People can easily speculate and come to their own conclusions which could get out of hand. But if they knew the reasons, They would be able to judge and discuss if these bans were warranted or not. I ofcourse get there are particular people who have done illegal activity and in no way should that be disclosed entirely due to obvious reasons. However when it comes to ingame actions or actions on forums, these can be disclosed for the community so that the they may decide if Community Leadership has made a fair decision. If Community Leadership remain silent and say nothing additionally, it opens a speculation that these bans may not be as suitable as one would think. A Community Banned person cannot defend themself to the community and we are forced to just accept that whatever ban is done is just and appropriate, there is even a possibility we will never know the reason to a ban, due to community leadership denying any chance to appeal. Reasons for Community bans have been done before, 2 actually. Logic was rebanned and the explanation for that is still there. Dinaric was notably community banned, but since his ban is now lifted, that reason is now hidden from the community as we have moved on. I see no reason for bans that are of a similar nature that the same can be done. So is Community Leadership going to be more transparent on these bans or will we need to speculate and hope they will allow these people to appeal in the future. Moving towards the second point I wanted to focus on. Dev QnAs and Communication about updates. Roughly towards the end of last year and into early this year. We were able to see what progress was being done and also ask questions on upcoming changes, These all of a sudden stopped around the time the last update rolled out. For me I found these really interesting and engaging towards the community, We also had a Community Polls on proposed changes, One of those led to the re-addition to null, which for most it was a welcome return to the server. From the point of last update to now with the upcoming update, We really didnt see any of this happen again. I feel this was a missed chance from Community Leadership as for me it was a big motivator to keep focused on the server and small tidbits showed really good transparency. My question towards community leadership, With the upcoming update, will we see a return of these monthly (or even once every 2 months if thats better) Dev QnAs and will we get more polls for the community to get a chance to steer parts of the update into the popular direction. Cause for me, The wait between updates really hurt my desire to play on the server and just pushed me more into burnout. Lastly, I just want to say Im not writing this to cause Drama or to be overly negative. I just personally feel that previously transparency from community leadership was far better. When the "New" 4 Founders stepped into the vacated roles and reigns were handed over. We saw more communication, a positive enviroment and were open to talking about these issues. Recently I feel its slipped back into the fog, Im just hoping it could become clearer.

I mean in the 3 I was involved in. Only 1 got to the end in a appropriate manner, which was the one I spearheaded as Director. The other 2 was 1 as HA (which was mostly just setting peoples health and the like) and the other when it was handed over to the GM Team who specifically requested to do it. So maybe your right.

Personally not a fan of it. While I would be for more events that arnt just your standard deployments. I think a tournament that lasts 8-9 Weeks isnt going to conclude well with the experience that I have had organising/overseeing it. Ive been heavily involved in the last 3 to 4 BVBs. The one thing that happened almost every time was about 3-4 Weeks in, Half the Battalions didnt care and motivation went south. If you ask me, The reason we didnt bring it back wasnt its toxicity, It was the lack of general interest in it and the amount of investment needed with the slowly depleting population at the time. It also didnt help when we handed it over to the GM Team, They gave it to someone who then gave favourtism to their own battalion for then as Management needing to step in and order a rematch between the 2 Battalions, at that point BVB was dead in the water and just ceased to function. Scheduling was a nightmare. Either you left out EU people or left out NA people, There was a struggle to get an inbetween. When you had 4-5 Matches in a day, The late matches meant the battalions with EU pop would suffer greatly. So when theres stakes for these matches were high, it didnt have much competitive integrity when the majority of the battalion couldnt participate. This can be solved by giving larger time slots. But you were in a tough position when scheduling a match between a Majority EU and a Majority NA. If you want this to work. At most it should last a month. Keep it quick, fresh and simple. Capture the Flag and S&D were flawed and without actual development of a addon, It will likely suffer the same issues. Protect the VIP just turned into someone hiding in a corner and turned into a standard TDM on the bridge. Elimination and TDM were the way to go. But personally I was more of a fan of the dodgeball and more minigames, They arent going to cause the issues we had in the past and just give battalions the time to have fun together. Toxicity, Its whatever, deal with it internally and fall back on the Chain of Command to deal with it. Even with all that I think just straight out bringing BVB isnt the best choice. I personally believe its a relic of the past that just needs to stay there. I think just giving more variety to the weekend deployments, such as similar game modes as suggested is a better way of doing it and stops people getting overly competitive over Gmod. So for me its a -1

+1 Your good to go. Despite particular people asking me to remove you from Admiral I stuck with you cause I know you can get a job done (funny how they are now +1ing you). Naval will always be a fickle issue that despite generations coming or going its clear that it won't get the numbers these people expect. But brooklyn here atleast gave some life towards it and gave it all he really could with the limitations. Those who complain are usually the ones who haven't got on the server within the last 3 months and remain as forum gremlins with no grip on the reality of the situation naval has itself in. I encourage them to actually be productive and join naval since they clearly seem very passionate about it on the forums. 3 Factions you will now inherit are in a better position than they were 3 months ago (looks like i did do my job). Absolutely there are issues within each and can and will be resolved under your leadership and the factions leads. Just don't breath down their necks and push them to breaking down over stress like it was before I was palpatine. Let them do their job and they will let you do yours. Last point, please continue using the morgue as a execution method. Would Be cool to keep that tradition alive.

So, I have questions id like to ask you brooklyn. 1. The Jedi Order has faced interesting suggestions (to say the least) regarding major changes that would impact the Jedi order and how it is run. Some of which either involved you or was started by you. Id like to mention 2 of them. The ability for a Jedi to use a Red Crystal The act of giving preferential treatment towards SOBDE regarding their Lore Characters and letting their Knight Jobs be Master. Since these have both been denied and 1 was done by you, Im wondering if you are going to honor these decisions during your time as Palpatine or perhaps something you want to get the Jedi Order to reconsider. 2. Could you please give your brutal and honest opinion on the Senate Guard and what your thoughts of it being on the server. 3. The Naval will be without a Yularen, Which means you may need to focus on this part the most. When I got Palpatine is was Civilian, mainly due to it having no leadership which I was then able to make progress in getting that leadership in top down. Naval is once again going to enter the state where its leader leaves and potentially will nosedive in activity, which it has proven multiple times throughout the years. Other than you being the Overseer of this faction, what else can you do to maintain its activity and will we see you pushing through the RSB you have wished to do since the start of your Yularen term. 4. What would you say is more important. A Decision that will make the community happy or an essential change that will anger the majority of the community. If its the second, Do you feel you can be the bad guy in situations that may have people lose faith in you for the sake of the server. 5. Ive been a fairly laid back and overseeing Palpatine, Ive allowed the Faction leads to get on with their day and do what they feel is best and occasionally advising them and keeping myself up to date with their ongoings. Previously the Leadership above the Factions leads was hands on, micromanaging and caused stress among others, which Ive then worked to let Faction Leads breathe and feel like they are being watched 24/7 and being chewed out on a single mistake. My question to you Brooklyn is where do you see yourself as a leader as Palpatine. Someone thats going to advise, oversee and make few decisions or Someone who is going to push ideas and changes among the Factions. 6. Is the 2 positions your dropping is Bardan and Rear Admiral I assume? 7. Me and my predecessors have shared familiar thoughts on the role of Palpatine, The position can and will get boring at times and can feel very slow when all the pieces and in place and working. My 2 Previous havent even finished a term and I actually broke the curse to be the first palpatine to finish a term under its new system. Do you find that you can commit to the monotonous of Palpatine and keep yourself and others entertained,

I mean it existing in our files isnt exactly hurting anyone. The Requirement is there, if we dont meet it then thats that. If then in the future do reach the pop, we already removed the battalion and have to do the whole process again. Surely this is more of a issue of it being Doom's Unit being hanged over us.. and not another battalion, Is the incentive being Doom's Unit not a good one, is there another battalion you would propose could be brought in if we reach pop. Your not thinking this correctly.. We need to reach an average pop for ANY Battalion to be added/reinstated.
