 327th HVY SGT Bacta [2019 SYNERGY]

327th was my first position on the server. I joined it under the heel end of 2019 in 327th, led by Poe at the time. I had an absolute blast with many people like Obama, Lunch, Corvo, etc. I sadly left it as I was decently busy with the other server politics, but I left intending to come back one day. Please don't count this as a real experience I just like putting this here as this position was purely getting on to have fun and having a blast meeting new people.

 

 

212th [9/26/2020-1/8/2022]

PVT-BCMD

I will go down here with general confidence, I joined 212th in a VERY rough spot. At that time it was the heel end of Comics’ Cody term and there were only a few people regularly online, this gave me a lot of motivation to help the battalion by being a good NCO. During that time I did 100% into my position with the 212th, as an officer, I pushed for a lot of new ideas and genuinely put my in all into every action I attempted to push into 212th. Currently, as a commander, a lot of my focus is helping general functions like WO, and such with this I am also a part of the general document team managing a lot of docs at the same time ensuring they are all kept. 212th is my home and will continue to be home for the foreseeable future, I have genuine love and respect for everyone there and I'm proud of everything I have applied into the battalion and excited to see it grow even father getting MEDL and being all these positions taught me a lot, I’m thankful every day to be apart of a great battalion like 212th, it taught me a lot about battalion structure and what to do 

Here I will be laying a new update of what happened during my last application process (Dooku). During this time I continued to rise through the ranks of the battalion achieving REGL | CMD on the Graduation day of my school! Since then I have been hard at work on working on myself in the battalion to make myself into the BCMD mindset preparing myself for this position. I was then given Waxer, which has been a dream lore character since my first day on the server. I love his character, armor, and design. Getting him was one of the best achievements I could get on the server and in general will be remembered for a long time. With Carson stepping down I was appointed GCXO (Acting Lead). I revamped the tryout working with Wren & Striker, establishing a new lead for the general community. I have filled up GC with highly competent members and throughout my time set up good leadership skills and trained them to lead GC after I am finished in general

 Being BCMD has been a honest to god treat, I have ushered and push for many things in the battalions to help out wherever I can, the biggest things that I have pushed is having multiple WO to help with the officer grind, my biggest goals have always been making the pipeline from PVT-2ndlt as easy and as fun as possible, I have established IMO one of the best HC teams that can argue and work with me however they like, right now alot of my general goals is being active on the server and just pushing for activity, Ghost Company and 2ndAC had both recessions and issues during my time and both of them are at a excellent point in time, being BCMD for almost 6 months has really done alot for me, teaching me how to work with HC and the most important thing is throwing the weight onto other people, at the beginning of my term i wanted to do everything but know i do my best to let others do stuff to ensure they are still having fun, it's still something i'm working on but it has been going well with just how i'm working as a BCMD. Working with @Finn was a beautiful treat and in general was a great thing to work with!

 

 

Why should you become a Regimental Commander?:

I think that I should become Regimental Commander from my year of experience on SWRP, currently, I am the oldest BCMD serving under 6 months in the ATK REG and in general extremely experienced when my leadership has come into, I have been able to deal with a multi-leg of situations dealing with emotions/promotions and any drama under the sun and have still come out on top, I have a very confident way of thinking ensuring that my battalion is looked at the best and to be the most confident with the battalion, I want to bleed this into 501st/41st to make them a dominating force in the server, with this I would love to enter the world of HC to help the RP side of the server, with my recent step back from HA I want to tackle something and I feel the daily duties and discussion that the HC takes place is something that could be awesome, I feel with my tools I can be extremely useful for who I am to the server.

Do you understand the lore of your regiment?:

Yes, I have done many events and actual lore events involving every single one of these battalions ensuring they have it, I am confident in saying I know most of their lore names and understand it, Attack's Regiment is a very simple battalion to understand as they are simple with

Where do you want your regiment to be at the end of your term?:

 

My end goal for the ATK REG is to make them a dominating force in the server and increase roleplay between the 3 by utilizing my GM powers to host stuff, I would want every single subunit and in the general battalion to look extremely appealing by tackling situations, I want to curve and stop any issues resulting into any of the battalions and actually. 

I want to ensure that we keep the same morals to ensure that each battalion is still unique I don't want the Attack Reg to be a blend of the same battalion but I want to make sure at the end of the day they are distinct but functioning enough, this will be a joint effort working with the BCMD to ensure that they are having fun and in control at the first place, and I want to assist where I can how I can. I do not want to be a controlling ATK REG and just hover over them. The first week or two my game plan will be talking to each one of them extensively to get realistic goals and general plans for all the battalions and just helping when needed. 

 

For 212th

I want to make sure the next BCMD will have an easy time assimilating himself into the position, without being to control, it is a bit of time to get comfortable with it so I want to make sure that in general the transition of power will be smooth, as BCMD for over 5 months will take a lot to get used to. I am generally extremely confident with the stability of 212th, as my entire term has been focusing on future-proofing the battalion.

 

For 41st

I want to help and dive into what 41st love to do most is roleplay, talking to the GCL the biggest focus Green Company has had is roleplay so I would love to get the ball rolling with that by making the company and push for more of a general battalion atmosphere of just passive roleplay, I did hear there were some communication issues within the battalion and that can be easily tackled in the first week, but it doesn't seem to bad. 41st has always been a more relaxed battalion so just making sure that everything isn't being done by 1 person and just having a strong COC 41st will be fine as currently, they are in a great boom with active hands-on BCMD.

 

For 501st

Looking at 501st the biggest thing I always see is 332nd constantly being in an up and downhill, talking to the lead it seems by pushing their spec that they love to do (TECH AND EOD), we can push for more stability into the subunit, Torrent Company continues to offset great roleplay with their rich characters and it seems the officer core is extremely stable, the BCMD just went off from a long LOA so just making sure everything is smooth and ensuring that 332nd is stable (having opportunities to engage 332nd and make it less of just an orange helmet), these things of having subunits look more appealing are just right up my ally as GCC a company that normally does not have too much appeal as it's just a skin change at the end of the day, I think by just having engaging roleplay and some small battalion structure changes 332nd should be on the same level of TC by the end of my term as strong roleplay focused companies for the 501st.

 

For HC

For HC I think it's a big thing of working together, I have worked with all the HC members extensively and I'm excited to work with them if I get this position, as someone that thinks outside the box I want my time as HC to be valuable as possible making sure my opinion will be heard and actually 

How do you plan to improve relations within your regiment?:

It’s always gonna be events, something the previous ATK REG did is have deployments where other subunits can help and I would love to continue that, with this, I want to do daily check and possibly have workshops where all the BCMD can work together, some of my best times as BCMD is talking and communicating with all the BCMD is a chill way to improve relations, these workshops will mainly just be helping each other as all 3 BCMD have pros and cons and can use their resources to assist, this type of work environment will make being a BCMD more fun as there are more people in your corner.

I'm gonna be pretty honest here. When Bacta first got BCMD, I was a Major and I was very skeptical and to be completely honest it was kinda rough at first. Bacta made a complete 180 and I will say under OATH that he was one of the best people I have ever worked with IRL or on this server. Bacta ran his HC in 212th amazingly, he cared about every concern/idea/motive that any of his Commanders had and genuinley came to us for every thing. Not only did he put his reach into HC but Bacta made sure that every part of the battalion being a regiment to subunit had his help. If someone sends a message in the heavy regiment chat, youll see Bacta typing 30 seconds later. He put 212th in front of almost everything and I know he will do this for the entire ATK regiment.

This man has put damn near everything he has into this server and I know that he cares more than anyone. I think that the ATK regiment can prosper under his command, if not look at 212th for proof. I know that he will help everywhere he can and will do anything he can to help all battalions under his watch.

Bacta, is by far one of the most passionate people I have met in my years on SWRP. He is someone who understands the aspect of what makes SWRP fun and what makes the game successful.

Some notes about his success here

- He has led  nearly 2 successful  terms of the most active battalions in the server which has produced,  some of the most giving and talented group of players in the community (to staff, rp, GM etc)
- He was an HA for ~ 4 months were he often represented the views of the common player and always had there interests in his head when making decisions or voicing his opinion 

- He has been and is currently a GMM where he has been one of the most innovative in his position often bringing very ambitious ideas to the team (including the massively successful siege of Anaxes full day event on both the event server and main). His way of thinking so deeply on ways we can improve without limiting by "Oh I can't do this" is a skill that has helped him heavily here and will throughout his life if he keeps it with him.

Now some people may say "Oh he's a minge and fucks around". It's a game he entertains his men. When I ask him to take a situation seriously he does but if he decides to make some funny banter in RP or OOC there's nothing wrong with it. 

Some people use Bacta as a punching bag because of his goofy and approachable attitude. But he is someone who has an immense passion and vision for this server and the community and I am looking forward to seeing what he does as Attack Regimental especially coming off of a pretty amazing last Reg @Jovanovic

Bacta is kinda of a loose cannon in some ways, and can make some bad decisions, however, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he has helped make 212th one of the best BAT. currently on the server. I think the only place where his fate on getting the position should be decided is in the interview. Hopefully all goes well for you Bacta, and High Command makes the right call.

Throughout my  two terms of being cody i have been very vocal of my current Barlex running for cody, previous times during Cody it has become issues, at the end of my first term there was no one willing to go for city which was a portion of why i ran , currently my CMD Mater | Barlex is my top person personally going for Commander cody, with this there are a multidate of other peopel that have potential to ensure that we have a stable line of codys

41st doesn't seem to have any big big issues, looking from outside and talking to officers, there are some small things that i will have to talk about HC to ensure that i 100% understand all the situation, i have talked to most of 41st HC but if i get ATK REG i want to dive even deepeer into 41st structure, looking into  the past 41st has thrived with not that much of a structure (no promotion requirements/lack of bodygrouper rules) these are a mindset, i want to dive deep into these, not to change them to fit a conformity but ensuring that the battalion will shape into excatly of what the spirit of 41st needs to be 

Like I said in my application I would love to have  workshop time with all the BCMD to actually talk to them and discuss regimental wide things, some of my best times as BCMD where i got second wind was talking to my peer @Marvel at the time, 501st and 212th clashing ideas, the BCMD helped each other and in general it was just a very healthy system that i want to make this semi reguraely to make this a healthy relationship

Alright it seems like a lot of things happen in a short time but from my time in 212th Bacta is someone that you can love and hate at the same time, but he always is pushing the new idea no matter what everyone else thinks. He is a good guy for this position but be prepare for any new ideas he gets and be willing to try it. I will give him a +1 and Bacta thanks for the time in which you gave me in 212th in which you entrusted someone that you thought was going to be a minge to a position of Captain

+1. Others have written up why Bacta is qualified based on his record, not going to waste time rehashing that. His term has helped me greatly on a personal level and professional level. Bacta always puts 212th before Bacta. It’s evident in the way he leads, the way he listens to his commanders, and how much responsibility he gifts to his officers. I have never seen a BCMD more involved and caring about his troops. He takes an active interest in everything we do. When I was welcomed into 212th it was as a friend and a new member of a community, not as a recruit/convert. Bacta has tempered my leadership style and has actively made me a better, less prone to anger, and more thoughtful leader.
