How do you feel your previous term went?: 

 

I believe it went decently well, as I focused on Doom’s Unit off the bat, which was in a rough state. Fortunately, this is not the case now, and instead the case for other battalions within the regiment. The 104th has been in a stable spot since the start and end of my term as a regimental commander. They did hit a bump in the middle of my term, but that issue has since then been resolved. 

 

Galactic Marines. 

During the start of my term, the battalion was in a stable position, but has since declined and is currently undergoing heavy changes. Once everything gets ironed out, the battalion will be able to flourish again.

 

Coruscant Guard. 

After being tossed around regiments, the battalion was brought under the Siege Regiment. However, the state it was in was painful, to say the least. Currently, CG is undergoing heavy change with how their Lore characters and infrastructure systems work. They have an extremely stable EU population and are continuing to build the NA population slowly. Our primary focus needs to be player retention to ensure we keep new recruits.

 

Although this exponentially increases the pressure on the Siege Regiment, I believe my new plan of action will help guide the regiment through these troublesome times.

 

Why do you wish to remain a Regimental Commander?: 

 

There are still many ideas that I want to implement, and I want to help further the Siege Regiment as a whole. Right now, the stress can be felt on the Coruscant Guard and the Galactic Marines. I want to lessen that stress and further better the position the regiment is currently in. 

 

Alongside that, I have established a positive rapport with the leadership of the battalions within Siege, and battalions or regimental leaders outside of Siege as well. I do my best to ensure leaders (within Siege or not) can come to me for advice on decisions they plan on making or suggestions they might have.

 

If granted this position, I will, with the support of the leadership of the battalions, attempt to bolster morale and support and listen to any advice or criticism they may have for/of me.

What have you achieved within your regiment during your past term?:

 

Doom’s Unit

All the previous goals I had laid in my previous term were achieved with success. This was the battalion I focused upon once becoming regimental commander. And with the help of DU, we were able to gather numbers and leave it in a stable spot for future members.

Again, the same goals I had were achieved. 

 

Galactic Marines / (21st)

Although most of these goals were initially achieved, during the end of my term, they were hit with the burden of having to restructure more than half of the battalion. However, they are still going strong and I believe once they’re stabilized, they’ll have a good footing on the server once again.

 

What improvements or changes do you plan on making within your regiment?:

 

As always, I want to keep the mindset of realizing an idea. If I believe an idea can come to fruition and holds value, I will make sure to put effort into actualizing that concept.

 

My main focus will be on helping stabilize the Galactic Marines and keeping it afloat. Next to that will be the Coruscant Guard and focusing on getting their players to a stable number. 

 

Doom’s Unit:

 

• I would love to see more activity and responses from the NCO core and I may have a few ideas on how to help increase that, such as benefits for hosting and participating (in) a certain amount of trainings.

• Help increase the number of players in the Support Regiment. If possible, I would like to get with the regiment leader and discuss how exactly we can bring about these changes.

 

Galactic Marines:

• Stabilizing the battalion is the main goal right now, and that includes filling positions, whether it’s in regiments, leadership, or of the battalion, or all of the above. I believe also having an increase on incentivizing recruitments can help boost getting players for a short time. 

• Secondly, I would like to see updates being made to the Discord and documents to reflect changes made recently. This has partially been completed, but we can still go further with this.

• Next, I’d like to see more trainings hosted in conjunction with the other battalions within Siege to build up regiment morale. However, seeing more trainings done with battalions outside the regiment would be nice to see as well.

 

104th MAB:

• I would like to engage in talks to see how we can fill up the rest of the high command for this battalion.

• I would love to see the infrastructure for Dire Squad ramped up. Inspiration from (or) unused old documents can be recycled into something greater than before and can lessen the stress of having to create a whole new document without any inspiration.

• Again, more trainings hosted jointly with any other battalion, but I would also like to see an increase in TX-130 training.

 

Coruscant Guard:

• I would like to continue meetings with the leadership to see how we can fill in the gaps for HC, along with getting a recruitment drive going. CG is an important battalion that needs players, which it is currently lacking. This can take a long time to remedy, but in the very short term, an increased benefits program can allow more players to join the battalion.

•  Meetings should also be hosted with the Officer and NCO core to listen to any suggestions they might have for the battalion that could otherwise improve the current situation CG is in.

• Communications should also be ramped up to improve the outlook and opinion of the battalion. Although CG will always be looked down upon for having the power to arrest, the least we can do is make it look favorable and active in the eyes of others.

• Lastly, as with other battalions, more training should be hosted whether it’s with the Siege Regiment or without.

What part if any did you play in the decision around the 21st change / rollout of that change.

from my point of view you have done well in your position and furthered the work of your predecessors, while setting things up for success in the future. 
I am a bit wary around the 21st change as that was a pretty bad PR blunder, but I don't have all the details so I wouldn't take that into account.

 

From a GM point of view you have done well with communication with GMs / GMO+ on what you would like to see for siege while not begging us every week for exclusive events but standing up and pointing out when you think your units are not receiving the quality we push for every week.

Hey Day! That's a super fair question, and I'm glad you brought this up. I personally did not make the decision to restructure the Galactic Marines, and was told this was hasppening. As such I did as much prep work as I could with both sides and acted as a support pillar for the battalion to promote positive attitudes in a shitty situation.
