Make the trees touch the ground. I mean kinda obvious this one. make the courtyard smaller. Feels like we have a lot of space that never gets used and I’d be down to donate that to other parts of the map. A non prop BH village. Current one just feels cheap. Doesn’t need to be much just a couple of buildings that can be customized like Endor. (don't make the village on endor, village should be on anaxes)

Hello everyone reading this, lately I have taken a 5-6 day break from GMOD just hanging with my friends and getting back into my friend group that I abandoned ever since last December. And after I have started to get back into things with real life and school I have achieved a lot of things. Got a gf, working, getting better grades, and reaching new heights with the goals I have in life. This server takes a chunk out of my time and lately have been regaining it. So with that being said, I have no enthusiasm for the server after I reflected back at the roughly 2 1/2 years I had here. Was fun but dramatic. As my mom taught me, everything that happens in life happens for a reason. Anyways here are some goodbyes I have, some that really mean a lot to me since my return. @Caidoon I mean the fucking title speaks for yourself. But seriously, ever since I came back you have been my right hand man. I am going to be honest I wish I made you a CMD in DU, would've been better for the both of us. My rating for Bacta's event setup and his actions as a gamemaster - 8/10 Alright, I'm going to try and articulate my thoughts on this event. Firstly, the map lagging and crashing was NOT Bacta's fault, and I don't blame the GM team at all for this part. It was a little disjointed, but you guys pivoted and continued the event really well. The event setup and the RP based actions from the GM and his team were excellent (top tier). What killed this event for me was actually the players participating in the event. There was WAY too much powergaming that kind of dragged the event down. Here are some examples: Jedi spamming Diamond storm, using Whirlwind to smash people down, and spamming Force Reflect constantly. The one thing that really pissed me off was a particular individual that supposedly planted an explosive in the generator of the Venator, eventually "blowing it up" and killing everyone on board. This is the essence of powergaming in my eyes. Basically, there's no counterplay to someone "sneaking" into the generator room and putting a charge down there - it doesn't make sense in RP and is really just a scummy thing to do. I acknowledge that this was mostly outside the GM's control, and I give big props to Bacta for rolling with it and adjusting the narrative to just the ship being damaged and a fleet dropping in. Great job with turning a negative event like this into something reasonable. To sum it all up, thanks Bacta for the deployment. I think you should reign in the idea of "anyone can do anything" and more solidly implement the rules. If people aren't doing what they should be and breaking their character RP entirely (like the situation above), it's my personal opinion that you should warn them and/or kick em out.

Honestly, the biggest thing I'd want is an actual BH Village / Station. CIS have a nicely made Geonosis base with a cool rayshield. Atleast some actual buildings, with a fueling station made for the BHs would be better than our shitty imperial prop buildings l==

First things first, ive taken my time getting around to viewing this. Ive skimmed over it, but havent voted yet. First off, i think a lot of you have some major misconceptions about how CG is running rn and how we work internally. CG is doing very well as of late, though due to the nature of our position here on the server our numbers run shorter than most. But that hasnt stopped us from gaining a good handful of new members as of late. Our officer corps is active, things are being reworked on the HC side of things, and we are constantly trying to make improvements, especially for the lower ranks. Now, while I believe we are in a good place, this suggestion is not something I agree with due to two things. One: The weapons. A cheaper perma weapon being put into a job is not viable on the server side of things, much less the lore end. If you want the gun so bad, save up and buy it. Pretty simple Secondly: The jobs. DS is a subunit, yes, but it doesnt need 3 different jobs. The whole of DS was made to basically house most of our lore characters and to group them up with a smaller specialization to fit the role of “Diplomatic Services”. all in all, please be sure you have your facts right before judging a battalion -1 on the suggestion though

I’d say something that could be a easy money grab would be custom jobs, but not custom to the point that people get whatever load out or model, but have default ones for clones that aren’t attached to any battalion and that people can use freely with limited slots of course and can only be used if paid for the access of use, but that’s more of an idea on paper and would be something easy to put in if thought through

Maybe a tactics/order swep akin to something like the image below on the left. Potentially a force use swep emote for roleplay purposes (or for clones that might think they're actually jedi)

Here's my issue with modded minecraft. It usually ends up being that 1 group really understands the modpack, progresses way past everyone else, and then once they hit that peak of progression, they kinda just get bored (not to mention they are horrifically expensive to run). I'd rather see an SMP oriented server with minimal plugins. This provides a breath of fresh air for those who may want to have a bit fun. Hell, ya might even be able to RP a bit too :)
