Name: Clutch Staff Rank: VA Are you VIP?: Yes and Sub Date: 3/29/2024 Reason for leaving: In my 435 days as staff and 278 days as VA I've never experienced burn out like I have in the past 3 weeks. I get on the server and instantly want to get off to avoid doing staff work. I figured taking an LOA for a week would help but it just made me want to resign the more time I took off. My main push during my VA time was pushing to HA and with Kaiser taking the last spot and seeing the current HA team they aren't going anywhere and I don't have another 9 months in me to give it my all. It isn't fair to my battalion to continue with staff because staff is only killing my drive to continue playing. Any time I get in teamspeak and get a message like "hey can you help with an event" or "can you do my staff interview?" it kills my entire mood and like I said it's not fair to my battalion. I'm sure I'll be back to staff eventually just not right now. Farewells: I'm not leaving the server so I have no need for goodbyes, but thank you to everyone that helped me get to this point and to my peers for working along side me.

Steam Name: Blazin RP Name: Blazin RP Rank: Jedi Battalion Overseer Steam ID: 76561198255839733 Why should you become Grand Master?: The reason I want to become Grand Master is because I know that I have the leadership qualities that are needed for the position. Throughout my time on the Jedi Council, I have worked on the Mentor program, changed the way that Knight trials are performed, helped create the new ranks and requirements, pushed for changes to Knight Watch that made the system as transparent as it can be, and created the High Council shadow program. I have been a Master for about 6 months now and have worked closely with the current Master team, so I am well aware of how to interact with them and how they work together. With this knowledge and team work, I know that I can work alongside my High Council to ensure that the Master Team+ is keeping up with their responsibilities and working efficiently in a way that allows the Jedi Order to keep moving smoothly. Yoda has always been the end goal for me and something that I have been working towards since joining the server last August. I have learned a lot in my time as a Council Member, and now a High Council member, that has helped give me the push I need to apply for this position with the knowledge and discipline needed to succeed. As Yoda, I want to provide more of an active presence within the server, working with the Order to communicate new and better ways for trials and systems that we currently have. Availability: Monday-Thursday: 3 pm-12 am Friday-Sunday: 5 pm-10 pm *This will vary but I’m usually always available on Discord Give a brief overview of your achievements and experience on the server: Rancor LT (as Shaak Ti) SOBDE LT (as Arligan Zey) 41st CPT (as Luminara Unduli) Sage Lead Jedi Council Member Jedi Battalion Overseer Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want the Jedi Order to be at the end of your term?: Communication - One of the largest focuses during my term will be improving communication between the different ranks in the Jedi Order. With how things are now, I feel this is a major issue that has been long overlooked. Because of the new rank revamp, I would like to focus on improving communications between Knights and Padawans by introducing a more rigid system that has Knights focused on teached their Padawans more roleplay-focused skills. One of my first projects will be making a step by step guide on how to properly help Padawans as their Master. For Masters and Knights, I want Masters to take a more hands-on approach in mentoring Knights that are interested in potentially joining the Master team. I’d also like to bring back the High Command feedback form for Masters to fill out biweekly, so that we can know as the High Council what we need to be improving on. By the end of my term, I would like to have the Order be more RP-focused and be more open. Jedi Council/Master Team - When it comes to the current responsibilities of the Jedi Masters, Council Members, and High Council Members, I believe that they should work more side-by-side with one another. Council Members will eventually become High Council, as a result, I want them to start gaining a better understanding of those duties early on so that they can determine if being a member of High Council is right for them. Additionally, I want the Masters to work more closely with the Council Members so that they, too, can gain more experience and come to better understand the Council Member's work. One thing that I want to push the Master team to do is have more individual meetings with High Council members. This will ensure that standards are being upheld, give them time to ask questions that they might have, and also give the High Council members a chance to let them know how they think they are doing. Masters are an essential part of the Order and with the recent loss of so many of them, so I want to make sure we are properly taking the time to get them the experience they need and keeping relations with them so that they stay around as long as possible while we work on bolstering our numbers. High Council -The High Council team, I believe, needs to have a stronger presence on the server as they are positions that are held in high regard. Throughout my term, I want to combine my efforts with the Overseers to ensure that the Order is running smoothly without making it seem like I am micromanaging them. They were given their positions for a reason and I respect their abilities. The goal is simply to help make sure everything is being completed efficiently. The biggest change I’d like to make here is delegating some of the Chief Instructor responsibilities like hosting Master meetings and discipline to Windu. I think this change will positively impact the Windu position and keep them more involved. Consular - The Consular branch is in a great place with Soulless leading the charge. My biggest concern with this branch is working to create new opportunities that allow them to thrive. The best way is to let them do what they do best: roleplaying. I plan on using my abilities as a GM to host specialized SIMs for them to complete, allowing them to really showcase their roleplaying ability. I think that with the leadership in charge of them now, this branch will have no problem staying as a powerhouse for the foreseeable future. ( also diamond storm fix would be nice :) ) Guardian - The Guardian branch has been in a state of reconstruction for some time now. There are still a lot of manager slots open in the branch and it has never been more crucial to fill those spots with active people. The Weapon Specialist side has an experienced Jedi in charge of it, so I believe that will continue to grow. If Lightsaber Instruction classes continue to be held, along with trials, I believe Guardian will have no trouble continuing to grow throughout my term. A big thing I’ll be pushing for the Guardian Branch is for them to have ACE exclusivity. This will not only help boost Guardian’s numbers, it’ll also help with keeping the server at healthy tick rates. Temple Guard - Temple Guards have had their ups and downs, but now that it has been relegated to being Knight+ the branch is being filled with more established Jedi. My goal is to work with the Branch Master and their Manager team to help create more trainings focused on capturing targets and defending valuable areas. I also want to continue fostering a healthy relationship between Temple Guard and Coruscant Guard so that they are always on the same page. It would be beneficial to have them meet at least once a month to discuss how things are going and what improvements can be made. Lastly, after working with the current TG leadership to create the new Investigator trials, I’m confident the addition of the sub-branch will have a positive impact on the branch overall. Sentinel - Sentinel has been struggling with having steady leadership for a bit. Fortunately ever since Malakor took over, they’ve had a steady Branch Master. This main branch has always done well but the Shadow sub-branch is where it always struggles. A lot of people think of Shadows the “edgy” sub-branch and changing the mentality around it will be step one in making it better. With Investigators coming back soon, I’d like to see both Sentinels and Shadows create a good relationship with them. I also think it’ll be beneficial for the Sentinels to focus on growing their relationship with the civilian faction. Overall I want to see the Sentinel branch focus their efforts on reviving Shadow and making it a sub-branch that is respected. Battalion Jedi - Another of the large focuses during my term will be with Battalion Jedi. Clone and Jedi interactions are some of the best roleplay on the server and I'd like to see more of it. A lot of Jedi have the mindset that branch work is the only real way to progress in the Order, which just is not the case at all and I'd like to bring back the mentality that work in a battalion is equally as viable. I want all Jedi to understand that they have the option to focus on branch work OR battalion work. I would work closely with the next Military Advisor to ensure that standards are held for the battalion Lore Jedi since there are so few slots available. There needs to be higher standards for roleplay and activity for these Jedi, while still respecting the opinions of their battalions. Faction Relations - Creating and maintaining positive relations between factions is something that I believe is essential to the overall health of Synergy. With the recent addition of Jedi Diplomats, the relationship between Civilian and Jedi is stronger than ever. This addition was something that I personally oversaw along with Super, which means that it is something I am vested in seeing grow further. Naval Jedi, however, is an area that I believe is lacking and I want to sit down with Xander to come up with some changes to get more people excited to join. -TLDR; The past couple of months, more than enough big changes have been made. I want to spend my term not creating more big changes, but ironing out the existing systems that we already have to ensure that things are running smoothly. The most significant changes I am planning on making is restructuring what each rank is responsible for, redefining current High Council roles (specifically Windu and Chief Instructor), and involving the Master team and Council members more than they are already. I want to give more responsibilities to Masters and Council Members so that they truly feel that their opinions matter. How do you plan to improve relations within the Jedi Order between branches?: Consular and Temple Guard - The current relationship between Consular and Temple Guard isn’t the best, so to make it better I’d like to have the manager teams of both branches get together and discuss what they think would be best to improve relations. For Example, they could start running trainings together by having the Temple Guards and Consulars work to capture a Sith, the Consulars would be able to do conversion RP while the Temple Guard defends the Consular. Guardian and Sentinel - While Sentinel is doing good, I believe that their relationship with Guardians isn’t great as they don't interact with each other much. To strengthen the relationship I wanted to have both management teams host joint trainings and missions, as they are both lightsaber-focused branches. We could also have tournaments with the two and have instruction classes to improve their dueling abilities. -With these relations strengthened, I believe that the Jedi Order will be functioning much better. Many more opportunities will arise for people to be active and participate in events with their branches. I don’t want people to just join Branches for the skill tree, I’d like to see them actively engaging with their Branches. While I think there’s ways to strengthen relations between different combinations of branches than what I stated above, I’d like to start with what I spoke about first since these will be the easiest (due to branch similarities).   3. One thing I've noticed on high command application recently, this one included, is a lack of anything about actual high command business. Palpatine is 1 of the most important positions on the server. You have a lot of strength in a position like this. Your app & answers paint a picture yes. But you, alongside directors, would be the leading authority on change and player development within the community. How have you proved you can be trusted with such a position? Another thing, getting factions stable is great. It's your job. But do you have any agenda on anything you want to push for these factions? Literally the sky is the limit for you. It will be a HOT minute before we see a Marshal. If you are given the ability to step in like Palpatine's before you, will you be able to deal with all that responsibility? It is a massively different beast. Yoda, you get the council and all that. Right now though, you would be running a very bare bones high command team. I wanna be confident in your ability to deal with situations quickly. Can you do this? How will you avoid a potential overlode/burnout? I don't wanna be the guy to say it, but I will. The current Guild Lead and Mas have been around for how long? If this is still a problem, that in itself is an issue. If something like this gets worse, how will you deal with that? One thing I butted heads with you a lot was your purpose of a Windu. When I asked you about updating his perms, also you being asked by your windu to update his perms. You didn't for almost a month. Still haven't. Can you commit to make changes quick and efficiently? And not waiting on the next guy to do it? The last thing I gotta ask, to kind of include everything else I've said, we haven't had a Palpatine in a long time. Why should it be you?

  4. Lot of yap incoming but here you go @Brooklyn 1. With the changes I've made to the Knight Watch system (making it public) I believe that issue solved itself. Since everything is public now and can be freely talked about, I believe this takes a huge bias factor out of the system. Previously Masters could say pretty much anything they wanted about the people on the list and it would be behind closed doors, so now with the changes made if untruthful things are being said or people are being misled it'll be much easier to spot. 2. When it comes to HC, as long as there is communication I do believe they should have free reign to do what is stated on the Jedi permissions document. Like I stated in my app, the people in these positions were put there for a reason and I trust them fully. Being kept in the loop is all I'll be expecting. 3. Merged isn't the word I would use. I do however think some of the responsibilities should be swapped around. I do believe we need the 4 positions but there is definitely some changes that need to be made. When it comes to Windu, I believe that discipline over the Master and Council team should be given completely to him (this is currently one of the Chief Instructor roles). I'd also like to give the Chief Instructor full responsibility over the High Council shadow program. When it comes to hosting Master meetings, I believe that Yoda should be doing that instead of the Chief Instructor. 4. I don't have any intentions of changing the current system. With the distinguished system replacing perma Master, I think we're perfectly fine. To be completely honest, I never understood how someone that was Yoda 3 years ago can just come back and become a Master in an Order that they don't understand. There needs to be some sort of cool down where they acclimate back to the current state of the server and I believe that the distinguished system does that perfectly. 5. I believe having the individual meetings with people will stop any situations like that from happening again. At the end of the day, I can not 100% ensure that the Guardian situation will never happen again. On the other hand, If these issues are not being brought up by the overseers, then something is really wrong. If there is consistent issues in an Overseer's area and they aren't even being brought up to me, I can confidently tell you that person will no longer be an Overseer. These are positions that are held in high regard and I'm not going to let areas of this faction struggle because of one person not doing the job they applied for. When the Overseer of said area is vacant, I'll step in and do the job myself with the help of my Windu. This is pretty much the only thing that will guarantee the work gets done until said position can be filled. 6. When it comes to the Council, pushing out the Shadow Program more and making sure they stay involved with the Overseers is a great way to keep them more engaged. Besides that, I'd like to keep the ball rolling how things are. If there are any Council members that feel other changes need to be made, I'm always willing to talk and go over things. 7. I do see this as an issue. A great example is that with the current rules, we have to wait 7 days before voting on lore character apps for Masters. I can tell you with full confidence that this will be gone day one of my term. There is absolutely no reason to wait 7 days to vote on an application made by someone we interact with daily. 8. Not really sure how to answer this since its a very broad question, but I'll give it a shot. I want Jedi to just have fair systems all around. I talked a bit about this in my app, but overall I just want people to be able to have fun while also progressing at steady rates. Not really sure what else to add here, so if you'd like me to be more specific please let me know. 9. The goal will be to cover as many things as possible. I'd like this to be something that everyone on the Master+ team works on together and that we have full confidence in before we put it out. 10. This will happen with the HC Shadow program that I put out. This allows all Council Members to work with any Overseer of their choosing, and helps them gain an understanding of the responsibilities. They can also switch Overseers whenever they want, which lets them get experience in all areas of Jedi High Command. 11. The biggest issue there was HC not being held to the same standard as every other Council+. People were just allowed to be completely inactive on their positions with no consequences. I'd like to just start the mentality that HC is not untouchable, and if they aren't doing what's required of them they will be removed. I'd obviously try to help them first and get them back on track but at the end of the day if people are consistently not doing what's expected of them I do not want them in my HC. 12. For Battalion Jedi, they need to be interacting with their Battalions. This is one of the most important things about being a Battalion Jedi. Besides that, our current setup has some of the most beloved Star Wars characters. The people in these positions needs to be playing their characters and overall just being the face of Jedi. This is something I've tried to push out during my time as Military Advisor. I hope I answered all your questions but feel free to let me know if I need to elaborate on anything!

  11. Blazin is by far the best candidate currently for the position for Yoda, There is NO ONE I see potentially doing a better job than him. Blazin has not been afraid to get experimental with the order and also strives to break the old traditions of it. He has solid plans for the order going forward and during his time as Battalion Overseer hes has only pushed the Jedi Order into a positive direction. He also does my fucking head in. +1, Keep the Order the Best Section of the Server.

(3 sentence minimum): i would love join the staff team again to get back into pushing more events out for the server and helping the GMs we already have to insure we keep the server interested and having fun. i want to be able help the server out more by helping SGT+ in battalions set up trainings/sims for their battalions and keep them happy and having fun. I am from the UK as well so i want to be able give people who play early morning something to do and still have fun. overall i love this server and i want do my part in keeping it fun. How do you feel your previous time as a staff member went? (3 sentence minimum): last time it went great i got to HA and GMD i think i did a good job within my time and i want to do it again as i said i love this server and have been playing since it started on and off for years now and i want to do my part in helping it keep going. i learned a lot my last run within staff so i hope i can take what i learned last time and improve this time around. my last time was also cut short and i had to leave so im hoping this time i can stay a lot longer Do you understand by re-applying to get your previous rank back that you will be tested on your knowledge of the server rules and practices?: Yes lad

  13. Colossal +1 for me. Throughout my time on the server Blazin has always been in Jedi as a person to look up to or to ask for help. Personally when I think of Jedi he is the first person to come to mind. He has been doing fantastic work as a high council member and I can vouch due to shadowing him. All of the current high council are great people but Blazin by FAR deserves this position the most and I whole heartedly believe Jedi will continue to do well and even excel under him as Yoda.

  18. I have a question. One of your High Council members by the name of Mystic or Kaster Molin is quite inactive. How do you plan to move on with this? I have spent a lot of my time on the server playing as naval and worked alongside Gohn learning the ropes and what it takes to run the navy for some time now. I truly believe I am best suited to take over this position due to my advanced knowledge of how the Navy works and what it takes to keep the navy active and successful as a faction. With the help of the officer corps I have been building during my time as vice admiral I believe under my guidance and that of the officer corps the navy can become one of the most admired and respected factions on the server. Do you understand the purpose of Naval on the server?: Naval is the backbone of the republic. Their purpose is to command the troops during battle, Run and maintain the base, provide relevant naval based trainings to persons who need them and make sure everyone has something to do to keep them busy and stop them getting bored. We inspire the troops to achieve greatness and become the best troopers they can be. Availability: Mon - Fri: 8pm to 12am EST Saturday - Sunday: 11am to 11pm EST Give a brief overview of your achievements and experience on the server: Navy I have achieved many things already as Vice Admiral of the Navy some of which are Implementing new systems such as the Merit system and Training/Entertainment/Recruitments Leaderboards that we currently use. I have also Implemented a New naval branch, changed up the dress code, Changed up some lore characters, Opened up an Intel team and remade/updated a lot of Naval Documents. These are just some of my Achievements in Naval to date. Civilian On my civilian character I achieved the rank of Guild Marshal where I assisted the guild by hosting regular evals for both guild and spy as well as keeping on top of submitted bounties and bounty hunter reports. I resigned my position to focus on my main character in the Navy. Clone On my clone character I climbed to the rank of LT in the coruscant guard where I was also Hound and incharge of the Tracker branch. During my time as branch lead I increased branch numbers, reworked all the documents and the branch roster. I resigned this position to focus on Naval but have recently rejoined CG as a rank locked SGM. OOC I recently became a staff member in the community and dedicated spare time to helping out the server and players. Within my time as a new admin I learned a lot of new things and achieved Trainer of the week for all my hard work training new CR’s. I was Promoted to Admin just after that which is where I currently stand to date. Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want the Naval to be at the end of your term?: By the end of my term I want naval to be one of the most active factions and in a position where there is always naval personnel on base. I want naval to be seen as the professional, reliable leaders that the troops deserve. Most of all I want the navy to be in a position where it can stand strong in the absence of the admiral to a point where the officer corps is able, active and willing to push the navy towards greatness. There are a lot of things I feel I may have to change and implement to get the navy to this point but I believe we can get there and will do everything within my power to help the navy achieve this level of greatness during my term. How do you plan to change the Naval under your command?: - Increase the level of professionalism from naval personnel. To do this officers will be encouraged to carry out discipline on naval personnel who do not follow the naval rules. I have already implemented the rule that naval should behave in a professional manner at all times this will mean that naval who do things such as swearing during debrief will be subject to discipline (This is something I have came across from time to time). Things such as disrespecting people/battalions, Getting in the way during battle or Minging in any sort of way will also fall under being unprofessional. -Set and enforce Maximum LOA/ROA times. The maximum LOA/ROA time will be set to 2 weeks however this can be extended if the circumstances call for it. This is to prevent people going on LOA for months at a time which is a problem we currently have. People joining navy then just taking a long LOA is a pain and I believe if they are gonna be away for that long they should have to redo the try-out as a lot can change in that time. -Change the way Activity is checked as to not just rely on time since last promotion and instead check on recently logged activities also. At the moment people get marked as inactive and even removed if its been over a certain time since their last promotion. This is not a good way to check activity as they may be on and logging stuff but just not on at the same time as officers. With this in mind my plan is to implement the checking of activity logs against a persons steamID to see if they have any recent logs and adjust their activity according to that. -Rework the way naval reserves work. Currently anyone from crewman up can become a naval reserve I think this is abit much as crewman are still new to naval and you never really know if they have any intentions of coming back which leaves reserve listing with hundreds of people on it. To prevent this i would like to change the reserve system so you must be NCO+ and have been NCO+ for at least 2 weeks to get added to reserves. -Rework the Naval Handbook. All I am planning on doing with the handbook is updating some of the information and making it a little better to understand. -Increase activity within the navy. To increase activity within naval I am planning on coming up with new naval based activity's that will include but not limited to Ship bound RP aboard dupes. There will also be credit reward incentives/giveaways to encourage naval to be active where out of the most active naval someone will be randomly selected to receive a reward or maybe a Promotion cooldown bypass. -Push Recruitments and training more. I will do this by actively encouraging naval NCO+ to be planning naval trainings and advertising them regularly. NCO+ will be told to regularly advertise naval try-outs and be on the lookout for anyone that changes to Naval cadet. (NCO's will prioritise Try-outs over everything else) -Create a strong officer and NCO corps. I have already begun forming a strong reliable and dedicated officer corps by selecting the best most dedicated people within naval to move up to officer. The NCO corps should naturally get better under the guidance of the officers who will be instructed to make themselves available to support NCO's whenever needed Officers will also be required to host NCO meetings. -Reduce response times to comms replies and requests. This is abit of a difficult one but i believe by actively reminding naval personnel to keep an eye on chat the response times should get better. Officers will be instructed to regularly check that we have people watching the comms whenever naval is on. Even during trainings someone will be appointed to prioritise comms responses. - Run regular Naval Based Trainings whether this be in Sim rooms or ship dupes. This one is pretty self explanatory host more fun naval trainings with lots of opportunity to carry out Naval RP this will be very dependent on whether we can spawn in ship dupes etc at the time. -Have regular scheduled meetings with Naval as a whole and NCO/Officer Meetings. I have already brought back officer meetings but my wish is to have a rota where an officer is hosting an NCO meeting these meetings should be hosted at least twice a month to ensure all questions and concerns for the nco corps are handled. I plan on holding meetings for everyone in navy once a month this will be to go over any changes, answer questions, take any suggestions to improve the navy and have a catch-up with everyone to ensure they are enjoying their role within naval. - Introduce Joint training with battalions. This will be a training with a selected battalion we will try to choose a different battalion each time and host trainings that require both naval and the battalion to work hand in hand to succeed . (3 sentence minimum): I would like to rejoin the Synergy Staff team because I miss the tight knit group of people I would be able to work with daily. I would also like to rejoin as I miss helping the server in ways I cant now, What I mean by this is hosting events and ensuring people stay entertained. As of late (since I left) I have noticed that not a lot of active staff are around very early EU times, When they are active they are normally a NA/A that cannot do curtain tasks for the player base. How do you feel your previous time as a staff member went? (3 sentence minimum): I would personally say that my time as a staff member was pretty good. There was times were I lost focus and stop doing as much as I used too however would always regain my drive. Towards the end I 100% became a bit lazy as a staff member however this was due to me not enjoying a whole bunch.   33. -1. Fake character with the same amount of bodygroupers as Keller and only slightly fewer than other jobs. A different helmet doesn't make much sense. Do you want him to have a KU Helmet? that would just look goofy as hell. This ^ 21st in general has way more BGs than it should. You can take off your skirt, color hair, have the most unique hair on server etc. Before it was literally glowy eyes a backpack option and taking the helmet off. 21st is supposed to essentially wear hazmat suits.

  36. My own preferance on the weapons, they are graded on how much I like them & the price on it, so even when some weapons are a S Tier they are to expensive to be put on said grade.

  39. Huge +1, I don't care if we are in the same batal, regardless of that you are always giving 100% when you are in-game whether it comes to RP or helping someone out. From my experience talking to you, you always take in to account both sides to all situations and are not quick to decide which I think is an admirable trait and a important once with a position such as RCMD. I think you'll cook hard as fuck.

  47. -1 Im not a fan of moving in the direction of players getting more health or armor of any kind. Personally, I think the health and armor you can have at the current moment is way more than enough to tank through almost anything and just adding more takes away from the RP aspect of being afraid to die and play smarter.
