I've been procrastinating, and I'm at a point in my life where I have no idea where it's going to go. My girlfriend wants to get a house together, I want to focus on a career and making something of myself and truth be told, life isn't getting any slower. I've been playing this server since 2019, and it's brought me many memories, headaches and heart breaks. I don't want to feel like I have to get on because of my position in the battalion, and someone who is more hard working is deserving of it. Plus I played Halo Infinite flighting and that made me feel nostalgic. So, I'm going to be taking my leave. So here's a few farewells. Excuse me if these are sappy. @MarvelOf course you're going to get a mention, lmao. We played Halo Infinite together and that felt like old times, and that's really the drive I've needed. It felt amazing to play a Halo game with you again and just slay bodies, even if they were bots! But those bots could strafe! Couple more months and Halo Infinite will be taking over our lives again, and you know. We'll do the usual, finish the fight and look cool doing it. @justuscloud5 Thank you, Cloud. Not only for being a great guy, but an amazing friend. Since 2019, we've ventured on the server and tried to make our mark. Recently, it was a pleasure to be under you within the 41st and no matter what anyone says. You're a great, caring and funny guy. Just a top lad. I'll miss you, though we'll still keep in touch. One of the greatest Gree's. @KormI miss you man. It's crazy that it's almost been a year since I've heard your wisdom or you cracked a joke about dating my mom. I'm sure you're in Valhalla feasting with Odin and all the old gods. You were an out of the world dude, and I'll never forget how much of an inspiration you were to me. You taught me a lot, and made SOBDE and Null one of the coolest things to me. Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum, Ba'buir. Until we meet again. @Metro I'm sure we'll still talk and have countless and endless talks about the good times, 2019 was peak SOBDE. For me at least. As the great Metro Boomin' once said, Make it boom. We'll see each other in DownTown. @Shpack You've got a rough road ahead, but I believe you can do it. You have a warm presence about you that instantly makes you likeable. Don't take your future server aspirations too seriously, and surround yourself with a group of people that will help you no matter what. I believe in you. No more Clanky and Fi dynamic though, and I'm sorry. Though, We'll still have movie nights! @Stockings Thank you for giving me the chance of being in Improcco and Fi, you're a great dude and a great Gett. Take care of yourself. @41st Don't do anything I would do, if it's something I wouldn't do. Definitely do. @Eclipse It's a true shame that I never got to see your shot at Kal, but if you did get it. We did get off on the wrong foot last year due to me being a hard ass. You guys have done one helluva job with the server, you guys really dragged me back in after you made so many awesome updates and changes after taking the reins. Maybe if the server ever moves to a more updated game, (S&box, Soon™?) I'll come back. To anyone I have mentioned, I'm sure one way or another you've had some sort of way you've influenced me on the server. I'll miss this place but most importantly I'll miss the people. I've made countless memories, lost some on the way and made some in the process. Thank you, Synergy for being such a big part of my life in the last three years <3

Dennis, you gave me the worst first impression on the server, ever. That being said, you most definitely have changed imo. I may disagree with you on stuff on the server and how you run things but we can be civil about it. But people hold grudges from things that happen over a year ago, which may or may not be coming out in some posts here. I think Jay was on the right path with DU and I hope you plan on continuing it and not return to old ways. I don't think it is fair to throw the failure of CIS at your feet alone as it was the community who also failed to show interest. I wish you luck with DU and I hope you do a good job. Please don't make me regret supporting you. +1

I feel like people are incapable of remembering how ineffective you are as a leader You flopped as HC, a very real reason your MCMD app got bombed. You have been given 2 battalion: RANCOR & 21st. RANCOR was freshly removed and you made it all the way through your term ending with that unanimously supported commander report that even your batt backed .21st seems to have succeeded only under Agent. It honestly feels like the community just wants it to happen again. It took a while for DU to move out your shadow, it was a pretty big thing holding it back for ages. And don't even mention your CIS experiment that failed almost immediately. You seemed to really want it to work but didn't seem to want to do any of the work that would lead to that. CIS almost completely failed under you yet you always claimed to be trying to fix it. And this was a few months ago, so these failures are extremely recent. I think you just don't fix anything, because that doesn't seem to be what you do. You're good at getting said positions but once you get em you just don't seem yo do the right things. Every time you've got a position you seem to either do work which barely works or just flat out fails. Maybe I'm wrong but lots of people gave thought that many times and then you go and prove they weren't wrong. Such a consistently poor track record should really cast some doubt but I guess people don't like remembering -1, apologies this seems like a lot of incoherent rambling

This probably won't mean anything but -1 I think you are a lot less toxic than you used to be and you are a lot more enjoyable to be around and joke around with. I think you have not really done much in your previous BCMD+ positions as Pog has said. I considered a +1 because DU doesn't really have anyone else willing to go for it but I think the best candidate does not always equal a worthy one

I will miss you a lot. You were one of my favorites. It's weird to think that we met almost three years ago! I'll never forget you. You were always there whenever I needed you. You always gave me really good advice anytime I asked for it. You helped me in life and on the server. You changed me. Also, your message to Korm was very touching. I miss that guy a whole lot too. Yeah, me too. I miss the feeling of getting on and just playing with my friends. I miss the cancer of the soundboard spamming in main. I miss stabbing you in the bunks hallway every morning when I'd see you AFK. I miss just hanging out with so many diverse people. Not to say that we don't have this now but it just feels different. It was so long ago. It doesn't feel like it. I miss lots of the people. I miss Jags and Richard and (can't believe I am saying this) Aaron as my squad. I miss Derv and his constant weed talk. I miss Greek and his dent brain. I miss those people who made SOBDE feel complete. I like that lots of them are still here (looking at you two @Craigary @Marvel ) but its sad to see how many people we lost along the way. Yeah it is sad that I didn't get to see it either. Null was my pride and joy. I miss it a lot. But progress cannot start without first the destruction of the old. Time for a new day. Omega is my new baby. I'll treat it with all the care and love I treated Null with. Wish me luck, okay?

Well, I don't want to mince words here. You've done this before so I'm not entirely convinced you'll stay gone. But if you truly mean everything you say then its as good a reason as any to leave this bullshit behind. Wish you luck in the future and hope to see you around every now and then, you've probably been one of the few people who's been able to make me consistently laugh (even when I was pissed off at you). This may just be sheep mentality to follow someone blindly, but I'm willing to because I know when you actually put your mind to something, you get it done. If you and I could have a chat about this further later in the week, that would be great. PSA to everyone reading this app and the comments: 1. Your never gonna get rid of Dennis, he is like seasonal allergies that for some reason you miss 2. There ARE in fact members of DU (I.e the group he is applying to be in charge of) that support him in this. 3. If you don't think he is the best current choice for Doom, you are probably going to be waiting a little while for someone to actually present themselves (Which is a waste of time for everyone) 4. A certain number of you have grievances, Obviously. But many of you are not part of DU, so he won't be your direct person to deal with. On top of that, the issues you have are most likely with his personality, and not his abilities as a leader, because when he tries, he gets shit done. 5.
