CG Diplomatic Service Overhaul

Suggestion: Fully redo Diplomatic Services with new regimental slots in the subunit and a kit tweak. 

Implementation: Oh boy. This suggestion is to shift the Diplomatic Service Trooper job and rename it to Diplomatic Services Combat, along with adding DS MED and DS SUP. This is also giving the DS Combat job a Z-6 to act as the subunit's "Heavies" and add an additional weapon, the DC15LE (Original), a scoped variation of the DC15A, to all DS jobs including lore positions. This suggestion also includes a slight kit buff to the Diplomatic Services Stone job, as he is the lead spot for it and the kit is currently horrid. For models, we would keep the same DS Trooper models we have for the Combat job, and would siphon 3 models from the CG MED whitelist and 4 from the CG SUP whitelist.  Alternatively, DS would be more than happy to accept the Westar M-5 instead of the DC15LE if that is deemed unnecessary.

Other: Yeah so uh quick heads up the DS kit right now is the DP24 and the shield and that's all! It's pretty horrid :) With the re-addition of Senate Guard to the server, DS has fully shifted away from guarding senators unless needed and has taken up a SWAT/QRF style role within the battalion. Improving weapons and opening up regimental slots to then further limit the slots will improve the abilities of our "elite" subunit within Coruscant Guard. I am full aware that we have a DS models suggestion in the Accepted phase, but models can sometimes take a long time and this is an attempt to make a solid and swift improvement and build on this subunit. This is why we're attempting to reuse current CG models and just take them from the base jobs and put them on the new whitelists.

Stone is just a DS trooper with a pauldron bro needs a serious buff. Shields still do not work and we still dont have an ETA on a fix or if a fix is even possible. DS is so behind the rest of the server its not even funny people arent even aware. A revamp was needed 20mins after DS was introduced into the server and the fact that it took this long is insane. These changes would do wonders to catch up to the rest of the server in terms of meta and PVP especially with DS moving toward an SWAT/BH PVP style of play this would help catch us up in a big way. +1

-1 for the Westar.

CG would be the first and only battalion to effectively give Westars to all their Lore Characters. Otherwise i see no issues with this suggestion. Looks like a good revamp imo

We would prefer the 15ALE due to the rare occurrences of CG troopers using anything other than standard issue weapons (these look pretty close to regular DC15A's) but at this point man I'm just trying to get something)

Love me the 15LE but I would also like to say that the only lore characters that would have westars AFTER the change would be Fox, Thire and stone no other Lore characters currently have a westar and only 1 lore character would get one if this went through. 

both the 15LE and the westar are great weapons to have just want to make sure we’re on the same page with what DS lore characters currently have <3

So with this Mike we'd have ARC be able to pick and choose whatever unit they wanna work any day, they wouldn't be stuck under any umbrella and be flexible to work with who they want at all times.

This suggestion is what would truly upgrade and take DS to a nice spot. It diversifies the whitelists in DS without adding any new models and adds new and needed weapons to some of the kits.

 

This is how our people in DS will truly feel like they are in an elite subunit within CG
