Now that I don't have to PR my replies I can this was single handedly one of the most annoying situations I ever dealt with. Constant lying and you baby raging anytime anything didn't go your way. Whoever mentioned something about a second chance above, try more like 10th. If you would've just acted like a normal human in any of the million encounters we had you would've been fine but you chose to lie repeatedly and talk about how you were gonna "destroy your enemies". The constant threats towards other players were actually insane, some cartoon super villain type stuff -1

As the person who very openly biased Conrad up the 241st ranks at first this sums it up p well @Eclipse. Can't have it both ways. I understand being frustrated but at the end of the day directors have the ability to run the server as they see fit (for the most part). While those waive rules are in place and something that I worked on with HC a few months ago, if the director team wants to bypass them they can. I don't necessarily agree with how it was handled but again it was their call to make. The amount of reports I've gotten of people sitting in TS channels trying to force -1s is also just ridiculous. This to me just seems like a gigantic temper tantrum and the whole "Big Synergy" is out to get you mentality is genuinely dumb. To answer the original questions: Your votes matter and are taken into account but the director team and HC are sometimes going to make decisions that don't go w the general consensus. Was a little late to this bc I just graduated from college and things have been a little hectic.

I only speak for myself. I have no idea what anyone else in leadership thinks about this. While the whole "unique" thing is true, doesn't mean its a requirement and something that's needed in every suggestion. In terms of the server or leadership thinking that 41st doesn't need this or shouldn't have this is dumb imo. None of those people are actually in 41st so they have no real understanding of what the battalion needs or wants. Also want to note what I said earlier, disagreeing is more than okay. Just like you guys expressed your opinion that they shouldn't have it, I explained why they should. Just bc i have that fancy tag under my name doesn't make make automatically right or wrong, we're all just saying what we think under a suggestion. It's more than okay to disagree! Discourse is a good thing! To make it clear again, I ONLY speak for myself and am sharing my personal thoughts on this suggestion that has gone up many times.

You gave an opinion and I gave mine. I don't see the issue. Just because I have a leadership role shouldn't mean we can't have an open dialogue on a server suggestion. We disagreed which is fine and we both got to openly explain what we thought. I'm not sitting here forcing suggestions through just giving a take as you did. I'd much rather be the type of person in my position that is willing to engage and have that discussion than just sit there and try to push things through as I see fit (which I can't even do since it's up to Jayarr)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting something just for the sake of wanting it. It's a GMOD star wars RP server, not everything needs critical thinking especially with things as small as this. Could they have explained it better and talked about the usefulness of jetpacks in recon work? yea. Should they need to? not really tbh it's just not that deep imo

My issue isn't with people giving their opinion. Or honestly maybe it is. It's more so that every time 41st tries to put this up outside people come in and try telling them what to suggest or how they should do it. As 241st BCMD there is just no shot you understand what 41st as a battalion currently wants or has wanted. Not everyone wants to put up crazy suggestions or implement these new things at all times. This should not be some super controversial thing, they are asking for one jetpack on one whitelist. It doesn't need to turn into some philosophical debate about outside people telling 41st how they should run their battalion and what they should ask for. If they were asking for something super game breaking sure I'd get it, but it is ONE jetpack.

The amount of people that -1 Improcco jet packs every time is crazy. Mfs sit there tweaking over jetpacks talking about "yea it's not for improcco" "improcco shouldnt have this" while sitting in some random ass batt and never even touching 41st. They clearly want this as a battalion and have wanted for awhile, let em have it! (this is my delayed crashout couldn't type this out before)
