I am not going to go into huge detail about each position but, I have been under many great and influential people on the server who have mentored me and showed me how to be a great leader, person, and friend. I believe my experience shows more than enough to hold this position and do well by the Guild.

 

Why should you become Guild Leader?:

I think I can provide a creative and open mind to the Guild. I am always looking for new ideas and things to improve on, but I also know how to restrain myself from changing things just for the sake of changing them. I am very hardworking and dedicated to Bounty Hunter. I became a Marshall all the way back in October and became a Lieutenant in December. I have been around the Guild for a while and know how things operate. I am also strong willed and know when to not take no for an answer. This is extremely important and I will go into it later. Another strong suit I have is my patience. I cannot tell you how many times I am asked the same question that can easily be found in our documents. While sometimes it gets annoying, I am able to keep a level head and make sure the asker gets the information they are looking for.

Availability:

I am home every night at around 6 EST and some nights I work for DoorDash. This leaves me around an hour or two each night to play on the server. I will graduate on May 20th and after that My schedule will open up a lot for summer break. I will work a few hours a day and possibly have a few summer classes, but I will be available for most days during that time. If anyone is wondering if I would be able to balance this and Jedi, I am more than capable. With school coming to a close soon, I am going to be super available as I have mentioned and will easily be able to manage BH and Jedi.

Give a brief overview of your achievements on the server:

What do you feel the role of the Guild Leader is?: 

The role of the Guild Leader is to advocate for Hunters in High Command, to make sure hunters are treated fairly, to make sure the jobs of Guild Leadership are being done, to create rp in the Guild, and to make sure systems in the Guild are working as effectively and simply as possible. I will dive deeper into each of these points now.

Advocating for Hunters:

The Guild Leader must advocate for hunters in High Command. This is the reason that the position has a RCMD equivalence and holds so much say for the server. The faction needs someone to stand up for it in discussions and the Guild Leader who is supposed to do it.

Treatment of Hunters:

Elaborating on my last point, it is important that Hunters are being treated fairly on base, in RAOS investigations, staff sits, and Command discussions. Hunters are often an annoyance to other players on the server, due to their hostility at times, and there needs to be someone to step in and make sure that all situations are being looked at in an unbiased set of eyes. Some might claim that, I, as the Guild Leader would be bias in a situation, but I do not tolerate rule breaking on Bounty Hunter jobs because I do not want to see the Guild become like Sith or the CIS. I understand that if the server has an overall poor view of Hunters, then it is much more likely to skate close to removal.

Guild Leadership:

This is pretty straightforward. I will make sure that people are doing their jobs from the role of Clan Leader all the way up to Lieutenant. The main thing I will need to make sure is taken care of is Discipline. The guild has many rules that most people are unaware of when they start out. I will make sure that Marshalls and Lieutenants are doing their jobs in making sure that rules are being taught well, followed, and that rule breakers are being punished fairly. The Guild has a pretty strict rule system that I would like to make sure is known server-wide. This will lead to a lot less disciplinary issues from the Guild. Another huge issue that the Guild Leader needs to take charge of is Clan activity. I would like to see less Gimmick clans that are active for a few days and then fade out after it is not funny anymore. I saw how bad this can be for the Guild when I started and led the Condiment Crew. It was extremely fun for the first few days, but then it became less and less fun as time went on. I learned that Gimmick clans are not healthy for Guild activity. I will make sure that Gimmick clans are less common and try to make sure that if one is made, that myself, the Guild Lieutenant in charge of that clan, and the clan leader can keep the activity up and sustained.

Roleplay within the Guild:

It is important as the Guild Leader to create fair and fun rp for the Guild. Many of that rp is between Guild and Republic, but creating rp between Guild members is extremely important.

Monitoring Systems of the Guild:

The Guild Leader needs to actively make sure that his systems are working well and simple enough for newer players to understand. I cannot be too stubborn or egotistical to think that my systems work best and that anything new is bad. Systems like the Guild’s black market go under utilized at the moment. With the new changes to renown made by Brookyln, (refer to the guild discord if you were unaware) this is one of the problems this new renown system is trying to fix. I will monitor this system to see if this will fix any of the issues we had with the underutilized black market system, and/or make sure this system is working in general.

How do you plan to improve relations between the guild and the server?:

I want the Guild to hold the role of the second or third biggest faction on the server (as it currently stands depending on the day). It is not healthy for the server for everyone to be a hunter, but the Guild must be present. I wish that not every five minutes a hostile clan would rummage in and cause mass chaos, but that attacks would be more strategic, planned out, and infrequent. I want to push for more clan vs clan interactions. We have introduced the clan families and alliances for clan leaders to use, but it has gone unused so far. Clan Wars are also extremely under utilized. There are rivalries between clans, but it never turns into anything played out in rp. Eventually one clan dies out and the other stays and “wins” the rivalry. This is something that I hope to change. I want all three sides of the Guild (friendly, neutral, and hostile) to interact with each other based on their alignment.

2. I went into a simulation and perfectly recreated the RDM video, you can come to me on TS and ingame to be shown how. No other person would have been able to spawn it under your foot, also why put yourself into that position. A guild Leader should be held to a higher standard.

I don't know what you mean by the second incident. It was literally claimed By Turtle, if I am not mistaken. I was asked a few questions about it and I was no longer contacted.

Also I have no recollection of arguing with anyone afterwards. I sniped him and then made a comms message about how I got my revenge. I was then killed around 5 minutes later of being AFK and made a joke saying you probably wouldn't have known it was the same guy, but I did not argue with anyone about anything. I hope you aren't mistaking me for someone else here but I cannot recall any arguing.

Without IC consequences coming upon me, as allowed by the rules that state guild lieutenants has PID on hunters within their factions, yes I did sell PID to Hanz for 250k credits. This was only done once and was done on base and not during the Aurek incident.

If it was done within the rulebook then I don't see why this would be a issue this is from the outside looking in because I hardly touch BH. 

Now with that topic done on to Hanz as a person.

Hanz has had his fair share of mishaps and what not however, from the last time he ran for an applicable position (BCMD Rex) around a year or two ago, I think that from that span of time he has overcome most of the reasons for -1 on his original Rex app from a few years ago, Nowadays I personally think he is ready for this position and he will do good things in this position. If you don't fumble the interview you have a very good chance on getting Guild Lead.

Rewrite PID rules, every day it seems Bounty Hunters complain in ooc about people not having or having it. Theres a common sense of reasonable suspicion that people just dont get.

There is some lack of information on the situation involving the Mass RDM that several people have referred to; I'd like to clear some things up so that people do not make application decisions based on something that is possibly false.

The entire Veteran Admin team, myself, and both directors viewed video evidence of an RDM situation in which an ammo box was spawned underneath Hanz on a landmine, killing multiple people. The team investigated and reviewed the video closely and determined that there was not enough evidence to determine that Hanz spawned that ammo box, because of both physical aspects of the video and the statements of the people surrounding Hanz at the time. 

I recommend not including that specific aspect of that situation in your reasonings here, as there was not enough evidence to come to a clear conclusion on whether or not there was guilt.

1. First of all a clarity of the rules and a general advertisement of the system is needed. I have already started doing this by encouraging Haven and CCS to take part in a war (CCS has expressed interest, I am just trying to convince Haven to agree). Also incentives such as a base renown pay for both clans that take part could make leaders more willing to take part.
 

2. Most of this question was answered in other replies, but if you like me to go into more detail I can do so in TS sometime. So just hit me up on discord if you would like me to.

So I don’t have the clip but I know it exists or did at one point. 
 

My clan was doing what we do and had went into aurek after doing some stuff around the village and base. One of my clan members bruiser was approached by Naffen who then proceeded to try and ID him based on the image posted in the senate new channel ( at the time considered ooc) bruiser told him no he wasnt in RP. Naffen then cloaked and went away. After that we decided to change colors because the rule hadn’t been clarified and we wanted to be safe. After changing colors we went to aurek. Once the 12 of us or so get into aurek hanz comes in and walks up to each person to try and find me to single me out. He then proceeded to say “hi Kevin Colt, how are you Kevin Colt”, I then proceeded to kill hanz in RP for trying to put me in public. It was an in-character situation that lead to his death. Which he then tried to escalate into further punishment, I tried to tell him my point but he proceeded for 10+ minutes to try and say he knows the rules. I was frustrated over the situation and went to the event sever as DU had a deployment.

I would also like to point out that both hanz and Naffen were communicating in the same TeamSpeak channel as well. 

after I left the server hanz then issued the AOS. Which shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Which he attempted to escalate into an L2AP ban. After it was investigated by VA poker (at the time) and later FYI (Director) it was deemed as not RDM. 
 

I wasn’t aware of the satan thing so as to that statement is incorrect as I didn’t know of it untill now. however I can’t support someone who abuses his power to benefit himself or his friends, it baffled me that a guild Lieutenant and marshal would stoop to such levels.

What's that thing Palpatine said? Ironic I think it was. This honestly seems like you're a little butt hurt over something that was resolved and seems to not be a pattern of behaviour at all. It's sorted and as far as we're all aware hanz hasn't pursued it any further. Maybe just move on?
