Hard to believe what I've done since I've come back. Last time I played this game I was 15 and just starting highschool. Now I'm almost an adult and am trying to pursue a career in voice acting and radio. Because of this game. But I think I've overstayed my welcome. I still love this game to death, and I want to keep playing, but after I took my LOA I layed in bed for 7 hours just thinking about how I only had a year left of highschool, and then my life would change forever. No more football games, no more friends, no more Abbie. And what was I doing? Throwing it all away. My grades are the worst they have ever been, I'm failing classes, I can't focus on tasks, there is a weight I carry on my shoulders every day of my life. And I can't put it off anymore. I can't spiral any more than I already have. So, it really hurts to say this. But. I'm done. It's time for me to grow up. To go live my life. I learned so much from the people that I met on this game, and I wouldn't be the person I have become without you guys. But I need to finish highschool. I need to grow up. Because every day I would hear an iteration of the same old tired phrase. "The events on the server are stale and garbage." Half the people saying it had never become a gamemaster, never understood the effort some people put in. There are poor gamemasters. There are poor events. But that never stopped me from trying to break out of the norm and providing people with an unforgettable experience. And we did. With no event server for weeks near the end, we raked in almost 40 encounters with an average rating of 8. Thats unheard of. Were some of the ratings inflated? Definitely. Is that the fault of the Gamemaster Team? No. If you hate the state events are in right now, you have no right to bitch until you strap in your boots and really dedicate your time to the team. Then you have absolutely free reign. But until then? You guys go through hell, meticulously crafting your events, for what? For some moron event job to ruin them and result in 3/10s? Normal players don't even see anywhere close to this side of the team and I am glad we were able to mitigate that as much as possible. You guys have learned so much and It makes me happy how far me and my team were able to take you. This was my escape on the server. Where I could join into a random event with a gamemaster who had no clue who I was and absolutely blow people away. I never thought I would be a Jackson, A Punda, A Joah, A Nade, A Daytona, A Black, within the Gamemaster program. I never believed I'd leave an impact. Well. Anything is possible. This is a pretty far fetched take. It's shit like this which hurts the community because some person is gonna come to this post and see your comments and just automatically assume they are true. There's a huge difference between promoting only your friends versus individuals which do hard work to a point where it shows and is impossible not to notice. Also do you just assume that everyone in high staff meets up with each other to discuss who they all want to be "friends" with as a collective group? They are all different people and they all have different friends on the server. No one can just say promote this guy because I like him it goes through a process where they all discuss the candidate and then review their behavior and work conducted on the server. Of course people are going to get left out occasionally you are talking about 8 individuals who are monitoring a server with hundreds of active community members. That is why systems are in place so that individuals who feel they aren't being recognized can step forward and actually communicate. You guys throw the word favoritism out so much like its candy when in reality the situation is being escalated to a point much higher than it actually is. It's just getting kind of ridiculous. Moral of the story is do good work, maintain good communication, demonstrate good behavior and actions and you will get promoted PERIOD plain and simple. It's time to stop overthinking it. In a perfect world, every staff members would have 0 faults and promotions would be handled via a line of succession/time in position but that's not the case is it? Many people have faults and or areas of improvement that need to be worked on and hammered out prior to receiving more responsibility or rewards and not every decision high staff makes can be broadcasted to the public.

I'm not gonna post an opinion on this I'm just gonna share my experience. He's done some fantastic work in Senate and is trying his very very hardest to push it to a better more important place. Your work is probably the single thing keeping Senate in the server and you've got some insane drive to keep it going to a better place. I cannot speak on your wishes for Mas or why you want to go for it. I cannot speak on your time in the 41st. But I can speak upon what you've done for the senate and the things you're allowing us to achieve. Whether you would be a good Mas isn't up to me, because I just don't know. Criticism him on his behaviour in 41st all you want but make sure to actually look for what he's doing for the Senate. Also don't be inconsistent in your shitty views. You can't write off behaviour from 3 months ago, that may be seriously indicative of inability to lead, if there's no evidence their morals have changed at all. Time doesn't mean anything unless they actively try to evolve and learn.

if memory serves me correct "cloud is the odinson to go" was what was said before i put my gree app up. Your OCS program was literally a program to float you and your friends to the top of the battalion and i was completely stripped of everything once you guys became officers and the officer wipe instantly coinciding with your groups promotions lea me to believe something was fishy and I began to dig. After many discussions and digging your friend desmond came into my channel the day beforehand and said i caught him and reese red handed in the powerplay attempt, but at the time I couldn't say anything about you then I got the message about everything. Your entire in the battalion was causing chaos and lynch pinning yourself into wrens inner circle and constantly undermining anyone who wasnt your friends, the entirity of the time was factionalism and witch hunting and a near civil war in the 41st. You were the main perpetrator of the officer wipe if I am not mistaken and tried to convince wren to make Desmond GCL when he was neither an officer or did green company tryouts. You would constantly report me for my minor inconsistencies during this time and then when it looked like I was most likely gonna be gree you sucked up to me. With OCS you, reese, desmond, and Jay used the OCS program to take advantage of a 15 yo and climb the ranks as well as starting drama and witch hunting several people, namely on wrens application for gree for anyone that -1d him and the witch hunting of the Odinsons out of the 41st, and then the second i became gree i saw a different face of you, where you refused to go against my points and began to suck up to me, after being very opposed to me. TLDR you are lying about what happened, you lied about the OCS program on your app and what happened to you in 41st as you are permanently blacklisted and the first person to be perma blacklisted on the new server perma blacklist log, you witch hunted me and my friends. This running will be interesting to see how it plays out. I will come down to how you portray the character and complete the duties that needs to be completed. I personally don’t think we’ve interacted too much, but from what I hear on this thread. You are a good senator but have had issues with your clone character. I’ll give you +1 as seeing people state you have done well as a senator, and I hope to continue with it. Learn of the past events within the 41st and try not to do what members of the battalion are stating you did.

8/10 I think this was a very basic shoot & kill event, but I really enjoyed the dupes!!! I thought they were so cool, especially the AA cannons. Really big shout out for those! The simplistic idea to create a rayshield bridge was fairly nice as well!! All in all, I enjoyed shooting the droids and having a fun time with the 41st and the 212th! Thank you for this personalized event Unkindled! Edit: The commands were firm and understandable and the acting was good as well while on the advisor.

8/10 Cool dupe and nice event. I'm liking the smaller groups being sent out together, it makes for much more interesting events. Thanks for including 212th, we had a great time.

7/10 I'll be honest I was too in-tune with the story of the event, but it was certainly fun and enjoyable. I liked going around Tython and searching for the rocks to take out the droids. I enjoy your attention to delete the rock dupes immediately due to lag and that suits everyone on the server whether they're involved in the event or not! Thank you for the event Unkindled :)

7/10 - It was a decent shooty shooty from my perspective as I wasn't there for the more RP portions (which is fine, not everyone needs to be involved with everything), but I'd like to say it was nice of you to delete the droid you spawned on me and apologized for doing so. Not many GMs would have deleted it nor in this instance would I have complained as I was out of position. It shows that you really do care about your events and want everyone to have fun so keep it up!

Im going to say I do not know the circumstances around whatever is being discussed here im just giving my general opinion on the overall topic. One shut up. Dont spout nonsense, professional leadership does not fix how hard it is to quantify a staff member. You should never break down a person into number, but take them in as an individual and into account what they have done. It is very easy to say well they are friends with higher ups so they'll get promoted the issue is more nuanced than that. Most of the time previous experience is taken into account when doing high staff promotion. When that individual has a history in the server it is inevitable that they develop some sort of bond with the individuals that they work with. Even during my time favoritism existed and im sure that it still does in some fashion. Usually it comes into play when a tough decision comes. Comparing to similar people the deciding factor could be their past history. There has been instances where that is not even the case but most usually that is what the circumstances are. There is totally things that people can do against favoritism. In terms of higher ups is acknowledging their bias that they hold and separating themselves from that bias. Specifically for the rest of the server guys please please please fill out that staff feedback form. It is very easy for higher staff to forget something a staff member did or if they show a pattern in their behavior that is positive. Now thats enough of my ill relevant opinion.

Hi! This is going to be coming from a person who just recently got VA joining staff around 2-3 months ago so take my opinion with a grain of salt! Palpatine getting SA shouldn't imo bother anyone, being a SA isn't the hardest thing to achieve if i remember correctly crimson did events and continue to helped the GM program during his time of getting SA. If you can stand being palpatine for 90 days the biggest position on this server and from what I heard the biggest headache is nothing compared to the path of going from NA-SA. I really don't think its a big issue, was crimson my bet for director? no but saying he didn't do the work for it is a yikes moment. just my opinion on the whole SA palpatine matter :)
