I have been apart of this community for a while now I think 2 years now. I have done everything I have set out to do. And it was a blast and I made great memories. “I feel I need a holiday, a very long holiday, as I have told you before. College is nearing, I have IRL stuff to handle, Spring is here and COVID is coming to end for me in a sense. And I wont let a 17 year old game get in the way. I feel that its better for me for me and my mental health. I've been conflicted for the past month for what to do on if to leave or not but I think this is the right thing. And yes ill miss the good times I have had here and I know some people don't want me to leave but its the way of the road my friends. Everyone comes and goes. I want to start by saying Synergy is a family of mine I appreciate everything that people have done for me and all the opportunities that were presented to me. This was a hard decision to make but I know it's the right one as of now, I have been apart of synergy on and all since 2018. And I've experienced a lot of things good and bad, but I've learned a lesson from everything that I delt with, in my life currently I have found that I don't have nearly as much time as I used to due to school, sports and work. I hope to return to Synergy at some point where that may be I'm not too sure, I just want to thank everyone for everything that they have done for me. When I came back about 5 months ago, I realized that I wanted to stay this time for real. I eventually started looking for ways to help out the server and started off as a jedi main, but wanted to help the server even further. I think that I have a very good understanding of the server and the community as a whole, I think I bring a unique perspective to community and I am just looking to help out as much as I can. I play the server everyday, for about 5-10 hours usually since I have no life and I feel like I am wasting my time by not being able to help out as much as I am capable of doing. I feel as if I am a active and outgoing member of the community, who is well respected and very mature and I think that I could be a very good addition to the staff team. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): My name is Connor but I go by Luther on the server, I have been around since the split from icefuse, but I play on and off. I came back to the server roughly 5 months ago and started to main jedi again. I am currently a Second Semester Freshman in College, studying Industrial Engineering, with my main focus being in product engineering. I eventually plan to go to the FBI academy once I graduate College and receive the necessary requirements to do so. I am really into sports such as football, baseball, and basketball, football is my favorite and I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan. Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: I do not have any previous staff experience on this server but I have been staff on plenty of other servers. I was previously either an Senior Admin or Admin on Icefuse (I can't remember which), I was a Head Admin on Jedi Academy RP (twice), along with a few other servers that I can't really remember. Also besides Garry's Mod, I was the Head Admin/Head of Staff/Dev on Shroud's DayZ server which was called Scripted Dayz, which at the time was the most popular DayZ server, which was constantly full with a huge queue. I have worked with Shockpoint for a long time as GMD / post my GMD term. He has worked very hard in the GM program putting a lot of work in and always striving for the best quality. I spoke with him 1-1 shortly after this app was posted about my concerns with an overly split attention and he has assured me that this is not a concern. Which I and hopefully everyone else will hold him accountable to. Ignoring that concern he has always been a top quality person and candidate a clear example being when he stepped up to be a leader in the 212th at time when there leadership needed someone who cared about the whole unit. With this I feel confident giving him a +1 but please do keep in mind to handle time management wisely if you feel one is taking up too much time don't be afraid to step down and let one of the fine people you have helped train take the reins.

Ok to point out some issues I have with the applicant. You just came into the battalion like a month ago, you have hella experience but you haven’t been able to feel out the battalion and see it run at it’s greatest. You don’t get on around the times 501st does and that’s a major issue with the battalion - lack of high command presence. the last 4/5 rexs have all been highstaff or gotten highstaff, and that negatively effected the battalion in the long run. HA/GMD is a lot to manage along with being a bcmd! those quarrels aside personally speaking I know you’re a great dude and want only the best if you are 100% certain you’re able to do it, then do it! +1

Blacklisted individuals cannot be re-blacklisted for a prior offence they’ve already been blacklisted/banned for, or old offence (if blacklisted for MRDM, may not blacklist again for that same MRDM after time served). Blacklists may not be ‘no appeal’. Blacklists must have an issue date and issuer of blacklist (X High Command/ N/A not allowed). Active blacklists must be on a current battalion roster to be valid. Blacklists may only extend to 6 months of their initial issuance. 3 blacklists equaling 6 months or more in a battalion can result in a permanent blacklist with appeal. Directors can be approached if an exception needs to be made for the Permanent Blacklists rulings. To transfer a blacklist to an-other battalion it requires High Command approval. From what I've seen. There is little to no incentive for playing as a Jedi. It seems like you all are striving to hard to match the clone system (merit req's as an example) and I think Jedi should be independent from all that jazz. People come to Jedi, not to grind for months and months to say "hey I am now a knight 6". They go to Jedi to chill tf out and RP. RP that has practically never been encouraged by Jedi masters/leadership. Through the means of events or really anytime in game. In addition I rarely see councils build upon the previous decisions and changes of the last ones. It seems like the response is simply to wipe clean instead of pushing for positive change. Tbh, I think an outreach style program for Jedi within battalions would be more beneficial than an actual means of "progressing". To me it seems kind of redundant, its like having a 3rd clone. Lore Jedi rank equivalencies are all fine and dandy but I think below that it should be simply RP based. This would encourage Jedi's taking more of an advisory/leadership role rather than them worried about some shitty rank equivalency that doesn't mean jack in the long run. Finally, battalions should have more of a say in the selection, picking, and removal of lore Jedi (imo it should get to the point where they have nearly all the say). Jedi General = Jedi side Lore Jedi = Battalion side BCMD's applied and were chosen for a reason. To regulate their battalion. The fact they don't have direct control in whether or not to keep or remove a lore jedi is astounding to me.
