This was my first stomping grounds where I learned how we operate at Synergy. Taught by people like Woeny, Jackson and Nyx. Null: Probably my most well known position was when I was Jaing. I played the role to a tee and learned what it meant to be in SOBDE. I really enjoyed this position and would never have left if it wasn’t for me wanting a change of pace and change of culture. I also like to accredit the leadership I accrued while in the squad to my Kal, Duck. Omega Squad: Right after Null I originally left to 104th but didn’t last long there because I wanted back in the SOBDE game. So I became Atin, I was not in this role long but I pride myself for the way I operated while I was in it. I absolutely loved the lore and just the feeling of the squad. Ion Team: Shortly after getting Atin, I applied for Climber as it opened and I was accepted and got the opportunity to lead for the first time. During my time I had the opportunity to work with a few of the best RC’s I’ve seen. That being Ginyu, Woeny and Vires. This squad was what defined my career at Synergy. We were successful, likeable and did our job. I changed quite a bit about how my tryouts were ran and what standards to hold my men to. This by far is what makes me worthy of even attempting for this position. Rancor With Rancor I have worked my way up from SGT back to CPT and Currently hold the position of Fordo. I have been assisting with starting the Alpha ARC program which is working on nicely thus far but feel that Valiant(Dragon) has it under control and I can go back to my roots of being in SOBDE. Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: I should become Niner because I have the experience and ability to lead a RC Squad to its full potential. As of now no one else has attempted to take the helm and I feel like someone needs to fill this position. I have plans already set out for the future of Omega Squad similar to how I did back when I went for Climber. However, this time I will be staying my full term. I had stuff to deal with when I was Climber and I had to resign. This time it’s a whole new element. I have more lore and more people who want to be involved in Omega Squad. This is a great opportunity I would like to take for myself. I understand that some people may be skeptical about me just coming back but I assure you my dedication will only go for Niner and my Jedi. For those who are curious, I did chat with the XO and he didn't mind me attempting for the position either. Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?: I completely understand the workings and lore of Omega Squad as well as their comrades the Null ARC and Delta Squad. Availability: Essentially Everyday for at least an Hour, most likely more. Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?: I played for around 6 Months before leaving but I have recently returned and been back for a little over a Month. Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?: My goal is to get Omega back in its former glory. My ultimate goal is to have Omega be known in a good light and have my members to enjoy their time within the squad. I also want to groom a future Squad Leader to run against me even if I decide to re-apply. Competition is not only healthy but will insure the best man wins. Prince Posted July 4, 2018 Report Share Posted July 4, 2018 I'm going to have to -1 this. Simply because not currently in SOBDE and how quickly it seems that you are swapping from Alpha to here. I understand that things might not be as they seem for some, but if you lose inspiration and immediately drop something, I don't believe a squad lead position is for you. My opinion may change later because I do think you are a good person and will have good intentions, but I will always look for the best for the Squads themselves over those I consider to be friends of mine. Possibly just get in and give it time. We don't NEED a Niner. We have Reg+ for a reason and we are so small, that it finally gives our high command something to fucking do. But just come and feel it out first. I don't think people should just come in as a squad lead. Best of luck. If you make it, don't disgrace the family name. Link to comment
