  1. Limitations of GMOD make this very difficult to implement in an efficient way from my knowledge. It's a cool idea tho
  2. +1 CT's are oppressed To be honest, most people already know them and I don't think they are really used for anything that important and the time could be better used to onboard players to the specifics of our server.
  3. he's European, so he's close to Britain :/ +1 Your app didn't go into too much depth about specifics but the areas you wanted to address are dead on and I think a slow and steady approach on these types of changes for SOBDE is a good approach. You will do great!
  4. Can we get @Mavelle to narrate these in an old timey radioman voice?
  5. Pythin's form You probably shouldn't be the one posting this leave it to the real lifters @Sixta @Sock Monkey @Grecko @feet @Deku
  6. Best of luck man, you're dedication and willingness to fight for what you think is right benefitted the community alot throughout your time, and i'm sure it will help you wherever you head to next!

  9. Name: Day Who helped (If applicable): Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): The CIS intercepted a schedule from a dead 501st trooper which told them the command meeting was happening at 7 PM Anaxes standard time (AST). At the same time as a deployment for the attack units. They decided to send a special group of units to try to infiltrate Aurek and the main base. While they had moderate success at the start the clones started fighting back and the coammnd meeting was let out bolstering the command structure and numbers. Did any Bounty Hunters Participate: No

  12. @Stockings Why did you ghost me?
  13. +1 Everything I said in this pervious post is was absolutely right. If there was anyone who would have had an excuse for bad performance it would have been Stockings due to the regiment changes but he not only did an excellent job with Recon for the short tenure he had in that position but proceeded to do an even better job with Siege. I have seen the battalions work together, communicate and overall just work well. I think that's a real testament to his work ethic and ability to be able to take a system that stacked the odds against him and still manage to get an A+ by all metrics. Good work my friend have fun with your second term. Marshal Commander Stockings one day??! 👀
  14. 7/10 Great format for spec, where we all had a similar yet separated mission. The thing that knocked this down to a 7 is the fact that it had the tell tale signs of not alot of planning which happens. The hard event jobs the lack of cohesion between part and part 2 and the fact that it seemed like during part 2 things just kept happening and we just reacted rather than us driving the events that happened or them naturally occurring. EJs HP was a bit too high as well
  15. 8/10 Very strong first event the story overall was well put together, and I liked the premise a lot as it wasn't something that was hard to imagine us doing, and makes sense why people specializewd in siege would do this instead of say an attack battalion which may be more reckless and destructive. The consoles placed around the map, interaction between players, and GM comms RP did a very good job at informing me someone who didn't participate in most of it (since i'm edgy :( ) with a very clear idea of the whole fuel was being shipped offworld to mustafar thing which is hard to do usually. I can easily see this event having a part 2 on mustafar *HINT* The dupe was well put togther, I liked the bases they were structured well and seemed to be well placed. Two tips 1 - I highly recommend putting floors for environments like this. It's a bit more immersive. 2 - Feel free to stack the walls high. A certain somebody jumped the wall because it was so short (which is a shitty thing to do) but could be avoided by stacking it up a bit so people don't hop it. Also great work taking input from the players at the start. I always do that and it has helped me boost my score by 1 or 2 because of being able tune the event to player feedback @Dennis Please stop playing Pirates of the Caribbean theme in game some of us were being serious for this part of the event and we just started keeping distance from you. I asked twice in admin chat :/ didn't ruin the event, not going to whine about it too much was just annoying and would have been better served if you used it at certain times when it would be funny and not annoying

  18. Bro why tf you lyin' you sent me this today
  19. You guessed it +1 he's able to handle the immense mass of stupidity that is SOBDE, often being the one to throw on talk power and explain why he needs us to reign it in or stop something all together. Despite this he actually knows how to have fun and is able promote a good environment for the members of SOBDE. That being said, while i'm glad you recognize the state that SPEC is in I would like to know more on the specific side on how you plan to improve SPEC internally. There is a division between SOBDE, Rancor, and CG (not really your fault theses 3 have nothing in common and usually have different attitudes). But as you know engaging every member of the regiment is difficult and leads to burn out because of the "revolving door" effect where you get to make a connection with someone and then 3 more people come in when that person leaves and obviously there is only 1 of you which makes this hard to manage. I think by far the hardest thing you will need to manage is this inner dynamic and communication which you did address is the biggest problem but how you will solve it is a bit bare (this makes sense since it's not just a regimentals job to fix this it is everyone from BCMD up primarily) The biggest advise I can give you in solving this is engagement. You said "Inter-battalion trainings" as a meme but things that promote this regiment wide engagement are usually the solution to this problem. Give people a reason to want to be in the regiment and want to work with each other in the regiment. As currently in SOBDE I don't see a reason why we are paired with Rancor, and CG but if we had a sense of regimental pride and connection I may feel differently Good luck Guac you always have my / SOBDEs assistance in this if you need it.
  20. Really sad to see you go Black, we we're in the trenches together for GM for so long and we always really appreciated your advocacy at the Director level. Please do keep in touch and I hope whatever life is throwing at you, you handle it well!
  21. If I was going to implement this it would look something like this (these wireframes are ugly they wouldn't be this ugly in the actual game) It would start in a collapsed state and when a new order is sent from the gamemaster (via some chat command or custom text field) an alert like the one below would show up so it wouldn't be super intrusive and if say this was happening on main and you weren't involved you could ignore it Then when you click the arrow it will open to show this This will show the objectives (past and the current one) and will remain open for some period of time (call it 5 - 10 seconds) before auto closing (or you could manually close it via the arrow button I am also working on something that might solve this problem already but no promises it will actually end up on the server since it will have to go through the review process.
