  1. Oh no was it this link? I clicked it too :(
  2. 7/10. I liked the RP from negotiation, to investigation it was all alot of fun. Alot of the threads needed better connecting why was this gang after the senator? Why was there a prison riot etc But overall pretty good first deployment
  3. Name: Day RP Rank: CSM (I think) Suggestion: Add any phase 1 model Implementation: The idea here would be the following Main Server - Add the phase one model to our playermodel pack. That's it don't add it to any job or anything like that just have it on the server so GMs can use !setmodel with it Event Server - Add the phase one model to the playermodel pack and add it as a secondary model on the CT job. Since the model would be used alot more on the event server anyway and the GM can restrict usage it makes sense to have this on a job and then let the GM control the usage of it for the event server. Whereas on main it would need to be set for the player to avoid any abuse Ideally we could have @Jayarr make a white version of his phase one advisor model so that it looks consistent with our current models but if we can't do that @Brian-Limmon has done the leg work to find some models as well. If the main server is a hard NO (for some reason) then please consider only the event server portion Lore: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Phase_I_clone_trooper_armor Workshop content if applicable: This is in no particular order but if there's no preference on dev / founder side just pick the first one / one you think looks the least bad. But like I said Ideally we will have a synergy one made by Jayarr or a modeler or we can use these. We're not picky Star Wars: The Clone Wars | Phase 1 Clone Troopers CGI 3D Enhanced Phase 1 Clone Trooper [CGI] Phase 1 Clone Troopers STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT Phase I Clone Classes (PM & NPC) Star Wars Battlefront II: Phase One Regimental Pack- Playermodels SP-I CGI Clone Trooper Phase 1 Playermodel Star Wars: Battlefront Clone Trooper NPC/Playermodel
  4. (some of) The players. (sometimes) What seems to be a majority of the player base tend to want to treat the game like an FPS with in game local chat 75% of the time and an RP game 25% of the time. This leads to no one getting what they want because people that try to play a character have to deal with people bunny hopping at droids blasting Sabaton through there mic while people who want to shoot droids have to stand around for 10 min while Jedi Master nut sack gives the dark jedi a therapy session. I'm pretty biased as I try to play the game like I am playing a character. So I don't charge at enemies, I don't try to fly ahead of battles, I don't ask for immediate respawn of vehicles because that's not what a clone would do / have access to. But I do understand the point of view of "This is a game. If I can't use the vehicle / weapon / training I spent 15 min sitting in a channel listening to someone read me a google doc of, it's not fun" No where do I see this more prevalent then with OP jobs / guns. We have put rules around say a jedi force repulsing an entire area full of droids and ruining it for the clones but the thing is that shouldn't even really need to be a rule because a jedi wouldn't do that unless it was a last ditch suicide effort. Most Jedi Master's know this and don't do it but a brand new knight probably won't unless they have a decent amount of experience. Lastly there's an over reliance on people of "authority" to create RP whether that be the staff team, GM team, Commanders etc. Part of being a clone trooper is making a routine. Perhaps during down time you create a standard patrol route for yourself to do and notice an engineer in the MHB working on a ship. You go over and have a convo with him about the ship and start helping him with it. That easily fills 30 min of time when most people are just complaining "make something happen please". I understand this isn't always realistic as if no one is doing this to begin with it, it won't start happening but I have done this on crosshair quite and bit and have been pleasantly surprised with the results sometimes and called "a fucking ugly ass megamind" in others. The easiest way to star ta change is to shift the attitude of why you play. If you are playing simply to shoot things you may be missing the point of the gamemode. It's the experiences that stick with you and make you want to keep playing, and is the most common reason people say "This server was so much better on X map" because they had good experiences which are hard to come by due to the communities often faction way of interacting with people outside of there group. TL;DR: be willing to inspire RP of your own in downtime and play a real character (not just you behind a computer) and you will see your interactions on the server having more depth and substance and overall spend less time going "when's the next time I get to shoot something" @Woeny
  5. 8/10 One of the most recent examples of some players making it HARD to host. I think if we took a more serious approach to this it would have went off better. The ION Effect looked AMAZING!!! I really liked the flipped script nature of this event. Normally it's a novelty that's overused (like order 66) but the unique approach and the amount of time between the times i've played this type of event made it very fun to play in. Like I said the main flaws were the lack of helpers to help enhance our RP and the players that kept trying to derail the event. You deserved better!

  10. +1 solid guy with a clear passion for improvement. i've seen him grow alot on a personal level during my time working with him and I think he has worked into a quality leader. Only concern is this man is juggling like 5 positions. but you have addressed that and i know you have the maturity to step down from other roles should your responsibilities get too demanding
  11. 10/10 Title 8/10 Event. I loved the building and ambience clearly alot of thought was put into how it would look and feel. Sorry SOMEBODY deleted the elevator
  12. -1 I said this as well in the GM meeting. It's fine for the map pool to try once but we should really scrap it if we see the issues I know we will
  13. 1/10 This was called out of nowhere in a bad way by not setting up any RP for this to make sense. Led to a large amount of RDMand the plug was pulled before any RP could even happen. (I doubt this even had GMD approval. I know it's not required for Director+ but respecting that would probably be nice) It lasted all of 5 - 10 min and really didn't do anything besides set a bad example to prospective new players that we don't take ourselves seriously from the bottom to the top which is a shame :/ Order 66 events are pretty important to this community and the quality and consistency of them is something not to be taken lightly and this was like making a "Space balls" version of an order 66 event. Except it wasn't funny most people in it Overall :/ this really shouldn't count as an encounter. (sorry for the low rating really shouldn't count tbh)
  14. 7/10. Nice job with the build. You did alot with a little space which is always impressive. I also have to say the design of the road was pretty elaborate which was great. I think the dragging to the end could have been avoided a bit with some more crowd control functionality (vehicle, explosives', less droids etc) even though I know the story of the event was no explosives. The story overall was nice I liked the idea would have been cool to have a bit of lore in the first complex about maybe experiments with the chemical or what it is being used for or something cool like that, that we could play off of. One of my biggest pet peeves with CS-Desert Nite is you can't see shit at range on the surface (for crosshair this is ass). But I like your use of the commando droids which had white eyes so I could still make them out nice touch. The use of consequences for explosives was great too as it made us weigh the consequences of a delayed push but getting to kill more droids. Also the no TS3 rule is great but for this event it didn't work great for me because we were very close together which made it hard to talk to one another without talking over each other. So it's usually better to use this for more PassiveRP stuff where people are calmer or for a bit more spaced out events so I can hear the people in local chat better, Thanks for hosting Jova
  15. +1 a great leader and a great community member good luck man

  17. I spoke to @Jad about this a few months back and the answer was a hard no as far as Nordahl's script spawner goes. I believe the decision on this is up to him.
  18. You should elaborate so we can get better from your feedback
