Why should you become a Regimental Commander?:

A majority of my time spent on Synergy Roleplay has been under the banner of RANCOR or SOBDE, and during that time I have given all of my dedicatable energy to those battalions, usually without fail. I feel as if my peers both past and present believe in my care for both respective battalions, as well as my ability to lead, make decisions and consult both battalions with clarity and maturity. Some of my early idols on the server that had encouraged me to put my best foot forward on the server were regimental commanders. If I am able to have that effect on a new member of RANCOR or SOBDE alone, it would be worth the time and effort put into the position. I am confident that I can continue to pursue my current goals for SOBDE, while also aiding RANCOR in whatever endeavors they may need as an experienced middleground for both battalions. I am now more motivated than ever to better the experiences of members of both battalions should I be in any position to.

I hope through becoming a regimental I am able to engage with both communities on a personal level, acting as a regimental in game as well as professionally, so I may further push both battalions to be able to experience quality roleplay, while having few doubts in regards to the stability of where their battalion stands, being able to give insight as a member of the server since 2017. I do not want to be an idle regimental, I hope to be able to actively participate with and give insight to both battalions, while not directly putting a hand in the pot unless it is necessary or I am asked to.

Yes, having been in both current battalions of the regiment for an extensive time.

Where do you want your regiment to be at the end of your term?:
RANCOR and SOBDE are both incredibly self-sustaining, with both having their own talking points and interests to become a part of. 

 

SOBDE: I hope to be able to help SOBDE become confident in the roleplay abilities of their members, keeping them on their feet and constantly engaging while maintaining as full of squads as possible to keep entertainment high. The current BCMD, XO, and my fellow commanders have already begun to make strides towards encouraging a more blossoming roleplay presence when SOBDE is active, and I hope that by the end of my term these ideas we have worked on are not only implemented, but tested through and through so that results are visible and SOBDE is known for its quality roleplay among all members, from lore character to first week Gray RC.

RANCOR: RANCOR, though self sustained, seems to sometimes struggle with making training prominently available for the server and seem to take up more time allotted than many members of the server would prefer. Being able to push these trainings out on time and in an efficient manner would free time for RANCOR to explore avenues to greater strengthen their own battalion relations, as well as pursue more captivating roleplay engagements, I do not want RANCOR to spend more time than necessary issuing their trainings, in hopes to make them more efficient and free time up to experience the server by issuing help with structure. RANCOR is currently in a good spot, and I hope to be able to maintain this while cleaning up some rough edges.

How do you plan to improve relations within your regiment?:
Relations between RANCOR and SOBDE are currently in a good spot. I hope to be able to make interactions between the two mutually enjoyable, when RANCOR’s “Rancor Embassy” is not in use for trainings, it is possible that it could be used as a joint operations channel for many of the mutual members to interact, during events or while they play during other games, the two may share interactions and simply hang out in a casual, cooled environment.

 

Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes.

 

Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your regimental commander rank?: Yes.

Before I vote I just wanna ask a question, do you have any specific plans you will do or certain ideas you wish to implement other then the Rancor Embassy joint channel idea. Not that you need any game changing plans or ideas I’d just like to know and for everyone else to know as well.

As far as the battallion relations go, that idea is more of a subtle nudge to both sides; a lot of time recently in SOBDE channels have been spent playing other games, which is all well since we have an activity requirement, that time could be spent with the members of SOBDE's neighbor batt, sharing those games with them.

Spec does have joint comms, though it seems much more formal; RANCOR Embassy is unused unless trainings are occurring and is a battalion channel, given the fact that many members of RANCOR are SOBDE Jedi and vice versa, this could be a great place for SOBDE and RANCOR to communicate and connect informally while still having fun on or off the server, since those RANCOR/SOBDE Jedi can spend time in their home battalion channel, while connecting with the rest of the regiment, whether it be for an event or something else.

 

Also; during odd hours there may be 1-4 members of each battalion on, who can come together in embassy to make the most out of downtime events and such.

Fully blunt this application is  short, if it was like a ATK REG app i would have serious concerns, but for a regiment like Spec and your experience its honestly fine, you were the best squad lead in SOBDE for a long time and the most consistent.
