Steam Name: Beef

RP Name: Base Ops IA ENGO CSM Stern (Previous Captain)

Steam ID (SteamID Finder) : STEAM_0:1:104846168

Experience:

212th

The 212th Battalion was the first battalion I signed up in. I started out with the mindset of being an Engineer. Seeing as an engineer on my previous server meant creating FOBs and Fortifications I thought I would continue on this server. At first discouraged at the lack of a physgun and tool gun, This did not stop me. I signed up for ENG as soon as I could, Met with the friendly legend in the form of ENGM Bro, Taught me the basics of Engineering. With this training I eagerly slipped into my lucky snowsuit and worked on the engines as much as I could. I enjoyed the RP of engineering and decided to pursue my work. I applied for the position of ENGO in 212th and filled out my first google form, Which little did I know would not be my last. I was in the 212th and made a few long lasting friend, some who I still play other games with, And some with the gmod curse that causes them to go offline and never come back. After my experience with the 212th I decided to move on as I did not want to limit myself to one battalion.

Coruscant Guard

I signed up for the Coruscant guard after 212th and this also happens to be the first time I tried out for Base Ops and most certainly not the last. While I was in CG I had progressed to the rank of CSM. I believe this is the furthest I had worked in a clone battalion to this day. While in the battalion I did my work no questions asked. Filled out my Arrests and carried on. Not much to brag about.

During my time in the Coruscant guard I met a man called Ike, I remembered who he was because he was the one that hosted Debriefs in the smart naval uniform. As soon as Naval tryouts were called I used my CG speed boost to great effect to reach the 3rd floor bridge in hopes to impress the officials. Alas there was a large queue of other people before me, Seems like I was not as quick as I thought. I waited the 5 minutes before tryouts began and they lazily asked to type in chat. Eager to please I did as they said. To my dismay to become a Naval officer you required something called VIP. Realizing this would probably take a while I turned away. But then IKE kindly said “Take this 2 million and get someone to buy VIP for you” Overjoyed I got someone to buy me VIP as soon as possible which happened in one day.

After that I tried out for Naval only to fail every single time, To what seemed like underhand tricks and unnecessary gimmicks, It took me more than 10 times to become the as advertised: Leader of the ship” And boy was I excited.

Base Ops (Navy)

My career in base ops started more than a month ago and it has been the greatest time I have had on the server. Signing up for the ENG branch I did weekly ATC and ENG trainings. Quickly progressing through the ranks with notable members such as Naffen, Scouty, Vango, Lucifer and IKE. Due to my time zone difference these were the people I had worked with compared to the American side. When alfa was still around the QM branch was slowly dying, And the sad circumstance left QM with +- 3 active members. This lead to its removal. As time progressed the new Admiral had applied who planned on bringing back the QM branch. I decided this was my time to revive my branch and get my name out there. I applied for the position of Chief Quartermaster and passed the interview, It was on. The amount of Doc work me and my friend Vango put out was incredible. We had revived the branch to make it one of the most active branches in Base ops close to surpassing main branches. In my time as CQM the branch thrived and was totally restructured with various RP aspects being implemented. I soon made my way up to Captain which was a enormous position for me. I put my work in everyday to make sure base ops and my branch kept afloat in the form of tryouts and training's. I even created the Recruit training manual for everyday life which had not been updated since extensive.

Sadly I was removed from my position as Captain due to my actions against the Admiral. I then proceeded to resign from branch lead with my work done and dignity intact.

Despite the set back I did not let this stop me. After some time had passed the base ops branch created by Boutineer “RAF” had seen better days. I mustered a team of active base ops, Created the documents and gave the branch a true restructure which will change piloting for the rest of the server in a positive way. I of course gave the branch a vision which I hope will be seen through under the leadership of Papa.

Why should you become Admiral?:

I am a dedicated member of the Base Ops community and a pillar to those around me. I am willing to put my personal thoughts aside to make correct judgments without my emotions getting in the way. I know every single active base ops and have personal experiences with each of them. Many of them being my friends.

I am willing to do the work as Admiral and not let the stress of the position get to me. Base ops will work with each other rather than against with leadership that is wholesome and morally correct. The rules will be followed and slackers dealt with I can promise that.

Do you understand the lore of the Republic Navy?:

Yes

Availability:

I am on holiday at the moment so every day. During school times I am available over weekends.

Give a brief overview of your achievements on the server:

Engineering Officer in 212th and Base Ops

Current Intel officer

Current Internal affairs member.

Restructured the quartermaster branch

Restructured the RAA branch

Chief Quartermaster in Base Ops.

Updated training manual for recruits to follow with the stress of the new map.

CSM in CG

Captain in Base Ops

Current Senator Bail Organa

Hours of Intel work on outdated intel/documents

Hours of Base ops activity

Do you have a microphone?:

Yes

Where do you want the Republic Navy to be at the end of your term?:

I want it to have a active and full officer corps.

Recruits that realize the importance of their work with proper training

Sergeants that are inspiration to the people around them

Officers that provide good judgement and continuous tryouts.

A functioning Base Ops.

It is easy to sit here and make promises about the future, But as the saying goes: “Actions speak louder than words”

My actions for the past week is more than just words, In many ways you can say I had started the work on these goals weeks ago when I accepted the position as Captain hosting tryouts as much as my brain could possible manage, Even after my removal from Captain, Begging the one or two active officers to host my own tryouts was extremely difficult considering how they literally had to be begged. This is another change I will address in my time as admiral.

How do you plan to change the Republic Navy under your command?:

I plan to change base ops in the way it handles members in its battalion. There has recently been a streak of inactive base ops which are yet to be dealt with. Including positions of power. I will make sure that positions are correctly handed out and assessments for positions will be applied.

Possible Base Ops restructure which works on sarins idea (With his permission)

Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes

Do you understand that your position has a two month term limit and you must reapply after two months to maintain your Admiral rank?: I understand

I have got to agree with Arroyo. I do not think anyone is ready to take the mantle of Yularen again and I would hate to see another one bite the dust. I'm going to have to be at -1 as of now.

As a former admiral, I know you need to have a good attitude when dealing with situations, however instances such as the commander report etc show you do not have a good attitude.

Therefore, -1

EDIT: After speaking with stern, it appears he has a good head on his shoulders, maybe a chance is all he needs?

Neutral as much as I like you stern and think you'd do amazing in the role and how much I know you care about Naval/Base Ops I think Naval needs a little bit more stabilising of the Batt I do think you are the best person for the job. But as of right now I don't think we need a Yularen right now after all the hell that base ops went through it needs time to regrow and change first. You came and talked to me although I still am leaning towards the Neutral I will put my faith in you +1

-1 due to the fact that yes you are active with base ops, but you interactions with your higher ups bother me and I feel that given with the power of Base Ops commander, Base ops will go deeper into the ground.

-1  Arroyo and Freck  gave proper and just reasons as to why you are not currently fit for this position.  I've had a slight past with you and I also do not believe you are ready for this position.  Best of luck.

Stern, I have watched you grow for some time now and I can see your leadership potential growing steadily but I feel that you need some more time to grow through the ranks before you take such a massive plunge. Many more adventures to be had and lessons to be learned, you'll get there one day though. I do however wish you the best of luck going forward. Aim high sir.

You're pleasant to be around most of the time, but I don't think you're the right man for the position. I think you would be a better fit for Yularen after the next one has his term, that will give you plenty of time to really suit up for such a daunting role.

The Reprehensible Ratio!

+1 People are not realising without a Yularen Base Ops will get worse because he is the only one that can bring new things. With a Base Ops command we can make a more active officer corps and do more things Because we don't know what the XO can offer but he can't really put Big new things into action. If we had a base ops command we could have been promised new things to improve Base Ops

Neutral, you have good potential in you, I've worked with you for months now and I see what you can do, but at the same time yularens has A LOT of responsibilities, and I'm not sure if you could handle it. But I'll Work with you no matter what

I remember in my early days in the 501st that I could always expect a bunk inspection, any passive RP and professionalism when you were around. I considered you the best Naval and I still hold you in high regards. However, with the last Admiral reports and how you handled it, I'm a bit worried. I'm happy that you stood your ground and dared to point out the problems but the way it was handled on your part wasn't the best. You're the most experienced Naval/Base ops in my mind and I believe you can be a great Admiral if manage to improve attitude when confronting problems and conflict. From what I've heard from your fellow Base ops and from others whose opinion I highly respect I have come to the conclusion that you deserve the chance. Therefore I'm going to +1 this application.

Best of luck pal!

+1 If you don’t like something you change it which something we need because we need a hell of a lot of changes to Base Ops to even be close to bringing more members back and in response to what everyone keeps saying about your report on Previous Yularen, Anyone in that position desperate to bring a new Yularen to Base Ops would get that attitude because they are tired of what is going and on and you can’t just use that one moment to reflect him as a whole if you never actually seen him like in game or in teamspeak and also you been here for a while since when I first joined and you still Been CSM for quite a while now since you got demoted and I still hadn’t seen you get a promotion due to the RAA or any other docs you helped with and you are basically being ignored by higher ups as well and I find it quite messed up that I am now the same rank as you because no one decides to promote you back and give you a chance to prove yourself.

Regardless of whether or not no one is ready for the position to lead Base Ops, Base Ops needs a leader and I think that Stern would fit that position very nicely. Stern knows what he's doing and he knows how to do it properly. Stern is an intellectual and he also has a really hot voice. I think what Base Ops needs is a STERN LEADER.

My neutral is changing, the last few days hes been one of the few baseops on, more than his commanders, he deserves this yularen role due to the pure amount of work he has put into baseops
