I started my time in the 501st like all others, a PVT. I got my first shot at being noticed my second day on the server. I got the chance to lead a hostage rescue sim alongside 501st High Command, Spike, ATK Reg Conrad and Badger, who let me lead based on my willingness for ARC. I lead the battalion on a successful mission and was heavily praised for my leadership skills, being promoted to SGT during the DB. Since then I have climbed the ranks due to my leadership, dedication and willingness to help the battalion on top of being recommended by high command of other battalions and my own. Roughly two months later I currently hold the rank of CMD, TRO, Intel Director, ARCL, and Admin.

 

I am currently part of the training program. TRO has helped me make the server better, by educating trainers and giving them the tools to make the server better via training CCs. I also wish to climb to join the Game Maker program in the future and spread my world building passion with the server.As an admin for the server  I can help my own battalion create simulations and eventually, as I climb the staff ranks, I can build those simulations myself. Once I am able to create simulations I will not only do it for my battalion, but others, for the benefit of all.



 

Why should you become a Battalion Commander?:

 

I enjoy this battalion and want to see it grow. 501st has been my only battalion and I plan to keep it that way. I knew what battalion I wanted to join from the get go and I haven’t looked back since. I have been working closely with the CMDs of the 501st for a few weeks, before that being a trusted member of the battalion with high hopes. I have helped them deal with problems in the battalion, SGT testing, the recent changes to Torrent Company tryouts, and become the go to guy for the battalion. I have actively worked to make the battalion better becoming the Intel Director and ARC lead for the 501st. I am currently working to revamp the intel team, making major changes to tryouts and the structure of the team. I also created the new tryout document, with the help of then Kix, or Conillim, now current Attack Regimental Commander Conrad. I am very passionate about the ARC program and have brought in new ideas to that as well. I created weekly missions for my ARCs to accomplish and worked closely with the previous ARCL to begin battalion ARC trainings, which are currently in progress. I have also been involved in naming the recent ARFL and been entrusted to oversee the battalion while CMDs took LOAs. I have sought to make the battalion the best it can be and do my best to create an environment that everyone can enjoy. Troopers who leave the battalion often have reasons, which I use to help improve the battalion as a whole.

 

I have put in a lot of work to the battalion and I want to put in more. Since joining I have climbed the ladder rank and respect wise. I try to treat others the way I would like to be treated, I want everybody to have a good time. I think that I am well liked on the server because I take it seriously while also making it fun. I have tried my best to work with other battalions and create good relationships. I have been shown time and time again I am a dedicated trooper to the battalion and am able to lead. I have lead countless events and been given recommendations throughout my time on the server. I originally was noticed because of my leadership skills, leading a mission on my second day, eventually getting promoted from PFC to SGT. I am ready for more responsibility, I believe I am the right man for the job.

 

Not only have I been an advocate and role model to my fellow 501st, I have been actively participating in the role play side of the server when I can. I love to role play and I think that is one of the best things about the BCMD position. I would consider myself a good role player and adding that aspect into my job as BCMD could enhance the play of others. I know that a little role play couldn’t hurt and getting my battalion on that train could benefit events and the server as a whole.

 

My biggest weakness is my time spent on the server. I joined the server on the 9th of March this year. Compared to other BCMDs that window of time is probably small, but I have already logged over 1000 hours on the server.With the amount of recommendations and my position, I have shown that despite a lack of experience I am still a good trooper. Currently, with ATK REG Conrad, I believe that we can make 501st better than it has been. The two of us worked closely through my rise and his time in the battalion as CMD. I think the two of us together can breathe fresh and new ideas into the battalion.

 

I also have IRL experience leading different teams. I was the captain of my soccer team in high school and I am also the current captain of my university’s eSports team. I enjoy leading and I helped my high school soccer team to a state and division final. I have also been able to acquire skills via my education as a teacher and a coach.

Even though I haven’t been on the server as long as other players, I think I have proven myself enough to be seriously considered for the Rex position. I hope I get the chance to prove myself again.


 

Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?:

 

Yes, the 501st Legion are my favorite clones, which is the reason why I joined originally. I also have plenty of knowledge via books, the animated shows, and the movies.


 

Availability:

 

7 days a week, minimum 3-5 hours maximum 10ish hours. Once I get out of university on the 5th of May, I’ll be able to play 5+ hours a day.


 

Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?:

 

I have been on the server since March 9th, 2018.


 

Do you have a microphone?:

 

Yes, my mic works perfectly on TS, but it sometimes has issues in game if it isn’t right in front of my face.


 

Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?:

 

I have a lot of ideas for the battalion that haven’t come to fruition yet. I am currently working on revamping the Intel Team for the 501st and creating new tryouts for specific divisions. I am also working with my new ARCO to create a more active 501st ARC program via weekly missions and trainings. I hope by the end of my term I can make positive changes to the battalion and leave it in a good place. I am confident that by the end of my term the 501st will be better off than where it was when I started. The battalion is already one of the biggest on the server, but I want to make it the most active, respectful and strongest battalion on the server.

 

Ideally I would like to have active members in all parts of the battalion. Hopefully when I am ready to resign the Intel Team will have good numbers and be functioning well under the changes currently in the works. I would also like to see more battalion ARCs and a fully-polished ARF regiment. Also, I would love it if the environment of the 501st was a good, welcoming one. That way friends can be made and good times can be had.


 

Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?:

 

Yes. I am confident that if I get accepted, I will not get removed via inactivity.

+1, Where to start. You are one of the best men I have ever talked to. You are a kind man always looking to help others no matter who they are. I constantly see you reaching out if you sense someone is hurting or needs a hand. As well as being a phenomenal leader as proven by your quick rise through the ranks of the 501st.  You are dedicated, strong willed, kind, fair, and above all an externally good man and friend. I feel like despite your time on the server so far being short you have more then proven your dedication and love for the battalion. I could think of no man better to fill the big shoes left behind by acorn and the other previous BCMD’s of the 501st.

You are an amazing guy, very disciplined, mature and most definitely able. Seeing you or Badger (if he goes for it) within the Rex position would simply be a treat for 501st.

Quill I don't even know where to being, I remember when you were just a nco climbing the ranks quicker than ever. Now you are already at Commander and going for Rex. You are one of the nicest people on the server I have ever met. I can't wait to work with you more in the future and I wish the best of luck to you on getting Rex
