Listen, i'ma just be blunt here. Synergy is not dying at all. Hell, it's improved since it's initial inception and has gotten better over the years. Gmod just have a fallback on sales due to the fact the game is nearly 15 years old. It's just people overhype these issues on Synergy that can be fixed if the community works together on it. When Winter break hit, I decided to throw myself back into Synergy to have some fun. I accomplished this along realizing that this game takes up too much of my life and I grow obsessive bout it. It's starting to get a little unhealthy in my opnion so I decided to cut it outta my life. Don't get me wrong, this place is home to some of the most fun I've even had in my life and the community is great compared to some of the other servers on SWRP, but like with everything, it has some flaws. Since ever popular resignation/farewell has a section where they callout the server for being too gay or something IDK. Instead of being a downer bout it on how the Server is gonna die in like 2 months or something, i'ma just give some advice without trying to start too much Shit. Now I ain't perfect and neither is my advice,  but i'll just give some tips on how to fix some problems, avoid starting shit, and do the whole goodbye thing.

-Gamemasters- Listen, ya'll are kinda the punching bags when it comes to the flaws of the server. Some of it is undeserved, some is. Now this aint directed at all of you, it's just general criticism i've seen around the block. Please for the love of all that is good, if you have the choice between doing a random shoot em up where either DW/CIS/Pirate show up just to shoot some clones with a plot line you thought up only in your head without commiting too it or spending at least 30 minutes thinking about a somewhat unique event idea, do the latter. If you don't have any ideas, there's quite literally 1000's of hours of Canon events you can pull from with the Clone Wars. Hell, You can just watch an episode of Clone Wars and steal the plotline and adapt it for Synergy players. Badda bing, if ya do it right, you got yourself a solid event. I know players can be frustrating as well to communicate and coordinate with. Just keep trying, and if that don't work. Try again. Lastly if you still can't find an event idea and you've already looked at the Synergy event ideas forum thingy, then just go ask another Gamemaster/Helper. They (Hopefully) won't scream at you for being a incompetent dumbass for not being on their same level of IQ or something like that. They'll give ya ideas to help improve your idea making or event making method. Hell, go to someone like @Scribbles who gives us some killer ass events and he's nice enough to tell ya how to improve. 

-Directors- Oh boy, it's the big bad mean directors here to steal all my money :<. Yall are doing good but there's one thing every Synergy player wants, they just want more communication with the people who basically de-facto run the server when the founders aint online. Like ya obviously shouldn't tell us confidential stuff or why someone was removed from staff for obvious reasons. Like please,  if you can give us like a bi-weekly report of stuff YOU GUYS are working with helping the server improve.  Square, Sanchez,  Marvel had a good start on this with the whole Ask a Staff thing. Trust me, we don't care if it's bad news or the update being stalled for like 17 months, we just need to know what's going on because silence doesn't help calm people whose opinion on yall are, lets just say controversial.  If none of that can happen then just pop by in Batt TS channels and just hang with people. 

-Players in General- When it comes to RP,  sometimes initiative and stepping outta ones comfort zone will help improve yours and other RP experience. Also for the newer guys who feel somewhat intimidated by all the high rank mumbo jumbo people . Don't be, we're all just humans behind this computer and don't just don't be an ass to people I can assure you that's how you get friends.

Closing statement
Don't take my words as absolute truth, some of this stuff people may already be doing or something along those lines and I just didn't notice.  I'm just some dumbass on the internet who enjoys projecting themselves onto a character and RPing with other people. I ain't going to take some imaginary moral high ground cause I myself have done a lot of this shit and made a lot of mistakes over my time here. I aint got any experience with human psychology or any of that stuff. I'm just giving my advice on somethings. 
I've never been a person for forever goodbyes, i'm kinda uncertain bout this one if I ever decide to come back and play. Who knows really, I may be back in months, years, or never. My only hope is for how much time this community has spent on this server that it only improves for the better. Who the hell really knows the future of all of us, if theres one thing I can take away from my 2 and something years with Synergy, yall are the most surprising people i've ever met. Yall just remember that this is a video game and you're meant to have fun. So do it, have some fun and trust me. You will have some great moments here if you keep on trying. Lastly please don't get the wrong idea that the community will never improve, do more then I'm doing now and work to improve yourself and others or something. 

TLDR: Moving away from GMOD because i'm getting a obsessive about it again which hurts me IRL   This server has a lot of good points and some flaws which can be fixed with some elbow grease.

Mr, Sandwich. Its come to my attention that you have attempted to resign. I'm afraid you are too much of a value to the Community, that we will have to reject your resignation. You can try again but will most likely fail.

TBH Snadvich, you are not that bad. There are a shit ton of people that make me want to jump ship, but you were never one of them. In fact, you became a friend i was not expecting. Hit me up maybe we can play other things together some times. + I need to add you to the 5th Fleet Roster in TS. ❤️  Captain.
