I tend to stick to the charts and this is a legitimate 10 out of 10 in my eyes. Player choice tend to be what ends up ruining events like these imo because some players make some questionable choices but everyone was doing reasonable things during this event. I mean this was pretty much an ORIGINAL story and there was actually a STORY there. Like some desolate planet that doesn't really have any outside knowledge off their planet and doesn't know of the Republic or the Clone War going on throughout the galaxy. Making us all one group even thought we were 3 different battalions was a game changer imo. It made us actually communicate and work together rather than run off and do our own things with zero communication. No TS is fun imo because TS always becomes AIDs in my experience but thanks for letting the players vote on that rather than forcing it on them. Honestly I had tons of fun and I felt invested to the story and world building you did and this is probably the one event that I'm truly giving a 10/10 off the chart. Zero complaints, nada, nothing. Watching you and Marshh was a treat. Reminded me of a good time awhile back. The amount of times I struggled not to break character in game and was just losing my shit in TS to Mavelle was probably in the double digits

I find they are generally very fun and add an extra layer to a storyline. When I was making them I would do a recon portion or have them complete an objective, and then send in the entire battalion.
It’s like Modern Warfare in a way. Send in Task force 141 to accomplish small objective and then once they do swap the smaller squad onto main force jobs for the main assault. Only issue is really that the rest of the battalion doesn’t want to sit and wait, so if you do one like this, I recommend getting the people who aren’t in the mission to hop in the battalions discord, and have one screen share the mission so they can follow the immersion, dialogue between people, and the story itself. It’s super underwhelming hearing that a recon mission was a success, because you didn’t see what went into it. Giving people the ability to watch them unfold will want people to aspire to get to higher ranks/subunits within a battalion so they can participate in the next one.-

Under Jake, the man who was Gregor after you, @Bleach passed first try. That same tryout took me 9 attempts, @Naffen 30, @TheCyan 25, @BadDog 15, and probably more people that I can’t recall.
This is petty. To insinuate tryout favoritism because someone passed quickly? People can intrinsically be good at the mindless shit that’s in tryouts. Ask @Bleach. Slak was also the Gregor after you, and when he got these members, he was too new to Gregor to have changed anything, and you and him ran almost an identical tryout.

The place on the server that he has dedicated time to for the past few months is being wiped from existence. It’s not like he’s jumping ship because his squad left and he didn’t want to rebuild, or that he was burnt out. He left because there is no future for the squad, and he wants to go somewhere on the server that he has been in the past and has enjoyed. This is a perfectly acceptable reason to leave. He can’t build a future in foxtrot anymore.

Let’s ask the members of 187th, 91st, 327th that question. They can’t stay in their battalion if it gets removed. If DU dies and he leaves, then this point is valid. But this example is fundamentally flawed due to the fact that he has zero control of foxtrot going. I’m sure all the members of 212th support and understand his position. Hell Jake and I said we would have left 212th if not for foxtrot. If you join a battalion to be in a subunit and dedicate your time to making it the best, if it gets removed despite it being proud and full, what other option do you have?
Love you moose, but this just isn’t fair criticism.
Slak, you were a bit rough around the edges for a bit, but you always gave things you dedicated your time to your all. If Dooms unit wants you as Doom, you have my full support. If they don’t, that’s a damn shame.

Hard to believe what I've done since I've come back. Last time I played this game I was 15 and just starting highschool. Now I'm almost an adult and am trying to pursue a career in voice acting and radio. Because of this game. But I think I've overstayed my welcome. I still love this game to death, and I want to keep playing, but after I took my LOA I layed in bed for 7 hours just thinking about how I only had a year left of highschool, and then my life would change forever. No more football games, no more friends, no more Abbie. And what was I doing? Throwing it all away. My grades are the worst they have ever been, I'm failing classes, I can't focus on tasks, there is a weight I carry on my shoulders every day of my life. And I can't put it off anymore. I can't spiral any more than I already have. So, it really hurts to say this. But. I'm done. It's time for me to grow up. To go live my life. I learned so much from the people that I met on this game, and I wouldn't be the person I have become without you guys. But I need to finish highschool. I need to grow up.

I really tried to hold things together in my personal life but everything is coming crashing down and I know you four can make what I dreamed a reality. To the Gamemaster Team:
I pushed you guys. I lot. Because I was tired. Because every day I would hear an iteration of the same old tired phrase. "The events on the server are stale and garbage." Half the people saying it had never become a gamemaster, never understood the effort some people put in. There are poor gamemasters. There are poor events. But that never stopped me from trying to break out of the norm and providing people with an unforgettable experience. And we did. With no event server for weeks near the end, we raked in almost 40 encounters with an average rating of 8. Thats unheard of. Were some of the ratings inflated? Definitely. Is that the fault of the Gamemaster Team? No. If you hate the state events are in right now, you have no right to bitch until you strap in your boots and really dedicate your time to the team. Then you have absolutely free reign. But until then? You guys go through hell, meticulously crafting your events, for what? For some moron event job to ruin them and result in 3/10s? Normal players don't even see anywhere close to this side of the team and I am glad we were able to mitigate that as much as possible. You guys have learned so much and It makes me happy how far me and my team were able to take you. This was my escape on the server. Where I could join into a random event with a gamemaster who had no clue who I was and absolutely blow people away. I never thought I would be a Jackson, A Punda, A Joah, A Nade, A Daytona, A Black, within the Gamemaster program. I never believed I'd leave an impact. Well. Anything is possible.
