  1. +1 HOWEVER, moderation could be tightened in general even outside of the perspective of the "fun police." The forum's rules are accessible, but they're buried in the Community Information section and are mixed in with the "Community Rules & Guidelines" post rather than being a standalone pinned post. Probably could also do with an update since it was way back in 2021.

  3. +1 Heard Comet at the very least needed something.
  4. Bug Type (Server:): Command (CWRP) Severity level (Low - Medium - High): Low Evidence (if you can): N/A Description of the bug (If it's a black screen issue, please provide your SteamID64): Says it in the title, TG master can't use the arrest form. How can we recreate it: 1. Swap to TG master whitelist 2. Attempt to use arrest form command
  5. Oh yeah, the "dumb reign" ended a while ago. I reached a funny number of dumb reacts around October, so I stopped.

    Have a blessed day. :peepoLove:

      i'm offended at this accusation.

  7. -1 I'd take the Fortnite dances over this.
  8. +1 I mean... I guess? But it'd be simpler if you guys just didn't arrest for accidents with them. That's the equivalent of someone running in front of a vehicle and claiming VRDM. If they do it on purpose, sure... but you can just let accidents like that slide. Back when we were more serious I'd be all for this and have done it in the past, but just because we're edging back into "seriousness" now doesn't mean we have to go all out. I'm supporting this on the principle that it could disrupt events, since EJs could be killed like this and GMs probably wouldn't be a fan of that.
  9. -1 So, just so I'm not making a cookie-cutter response, I'm mainly putting in this vote simply because I'm against training wipes in general. I believe that at times you need to be reevaluated (something I would actually be open to do it if I, say got pulled aside for it) but to lose everything isn't really an ideal thought. I remember first time around I had my ARC training for years and Dennis' revamping of the trainings came around and (love you Dennis) it wasn't substantial whatsoever and the fail rate was just higher. I actually believe that some middle ground can be reached in this so it's not a repeat of what happened before. That being said, if it does come to me having to get recerted, I will actually go to the recerts. I just expect to learn something valuable and new because if I'm going to show up and relearn what bounding and ace reports are all over again, then it'll just make me wonder why I'm even there. Something that comes to mind and really worries me is that this is just going to turn into an overcomplicated version of what we have now regardless of the layout that this provided--the curriculum being vague and not necessarily giving us an idea of why we need two sets of trainings days and two different SIMs. I'm sure there are reasons, but I don't want a repeat of "NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S TECH TRAINING" to start applying to ARC. If I'm missing something please let me know so I can give a more educated response.

I can't believe we're in such a state in which you have to say that. -1 This shit's dumb. Could write an essay but you know it is and it's not worth the effort.
  12. +1 I actually think Medical Syringes should be infinite. On a lot of servers, the "bacta injector" was used instead of the medical kit (or our reskinned "Bacta Kit"). My argument for the Medical Syringe being infinite is that it's just not efficient. It'll get your health up, sure, but in order to get it to work, the person has to be sitting still and not taking damage, otherwise the effects will be lost to them and the medi-boy has just wasted a perfectly good syringe. To be fair, people do always sit still while they shoot anyway, but if they take damage all of us a sudden (say a GM spawns a T-21 NPC) then you basically kiss that effect goodbye. HOWEVER, I can see why it shouldn't be infinite too if the medi-boy is a particularly good one... maybe go with Fyi's compromise and make them about 5? It's not the medical equipment that makes people not value their life. It's the fact that after someone bites it, they just lie there and wait to be RP revived. The ultimate way of making people not value their life is making "death" not matter. There's no regulation on RP revives. If someone dies and the medic fails their supposed three tries to bring them back, then another medic just rolls up and tries another three times. Their medical RP is slowly watered down to using "smelling salts" and is sometimes done right off the bat. If you want people to value their lives more, then these either need to be regulated or removed entirely. No one stays dead anymore and no one respawns to wait for NLR.
  13. Permission granted. +1 by the way.
  14. +1 Your lack of culet makes me want to slap you on the ass. Only issue is that Null Mando models might not look that good in comparison. Not that they're bad but the BH pack just has models of better quality. You're gonna stick out for a while.
  15. Tentative +1 Used to hate this, not as a mechanic, but because I originally came from PG and I thought that the addition of CLIMB_SWEP in stuff like tryouts was a stupid and unnecessary thing that people needed to learn to advance in a roleplay server. Too often did it over-complicated getting into certain positions (RC before their revamp, Green Company, ARC troopers) because they would judge you based on how good of a climber you are in some crazy complex course dupe rather than what you could offer in terms of RP. But I can see it as advantageous for situations in which you need to use a grappling hook or something like that and it does beat b-hopping. It is fun, don't get me wrong, but the server needs to be careful that they don't get obsessed with it in terms of advancement.
  16. -1 Despite me wishing I could undo some stuff in the past, I've resigned to the idea that shit happens. Sometimes you have a bad day, sometimes you don't communicate things properly, and sometimes people just disagree with you. This community is filled with very forgiving people, and despite the fact that they get pissed off at each other, in the end, everyone usually realizes that humans are gonna human.
  17. This argument from Republic players annoys me the most and makes me scream into my pillow at night. Yeah... that's how BH works. They stalk you and use underhanded tactics to take out targets. Welcome to being a trooper in Star Wars. You don't win 100% of the time and sometimes you're just cannon fodder. You're obviously not here to roleplay on a roleplay server, just here to shoot shit.
  18. I'd agree to this if I essentially had a written guarantee that BH wouldn't be touched by this change. @berryI know you're not advocating for the removal of it but I've been told before by Founders that BH would need to be removed for Sith to work. Call me bias all you want, but the reason BH gets so much shit a lot of the time is because people are often too lazy to RP with them. When you stand for like a half-hour outside of the gate asking for a base pass only for someone to "[OC] No. :)" you, I can't really blame them for wanting to go hostile against the Republic, or at the very least dread the idea of working for them. Myself, Sinister, Scarecrow, and everyone in-between had worked to make sure that BH wasn't in a position where it was at risk because people flip-flop on removing factions so much that it's honestly just distasteful. This *did* happen to Sith, but we've all managed to heal from it and the server has changed massively -- be it for better or worse. In a perfect world, yes, I'd love to be a BH that had the option of choosing to ally himself with both the Reps and a Darkside cult (because let's face it, no matter how you twist it, Sith in CW era is dumb). It would highlight the neutrality aspect that BH is supposed to have, however it's not seen as a possibility by the server's leadership so until I get 100% confirmation that nothing will happen to BH (or a Founder pops in and tells me that they don't have these beliefs), I am giving to give a -1.
  19. +1 all the way if you can make it work. You can also reskin the bacta kit to be a "repair kit" or something if it's too difficult to code.
  20. -1 This is clearly a very personal issue that you're blowing out of proportion because you were told you were still blacklisted from some battalions/regiments on the server. You can easily get a permanent blacklist removed by actually communicating with the Command Structure and going through the necessary steps, as well as genuinely having a sense of self-awareness. The server doesn't need to get themselves together here, you do. Realize this and grow from it.
  21. -1 Not enough support for 327th with the current climate of the server. It was really one of those battalions that couldn't stay on its feet.
  22. -1 The server isn't SeriousRP at all. It's just Roleplay. This has been said by Management at a community meeting. Put simply, people don't know how to act under the label of Semi-Serious. If it's SeriousRP, there's no fun allowed, people get arrested for breathing, etc. If it's Semi-Serious, everyone uses that as an excuse to minge and be obnoxious pricks at every turn. Some may describe just labeling as Roleplay as "middle of the road", but I see it as dodging the issue altogether. People are allowed to have fun and get serious. It's made with the expectation that the community will use common sense rather than throwing it out the window. If anyone gets arrested for FailRP, and it's legitimate, then it's not the fault of the server's label. It's fault of the arrestee for being dumb and trying too hard to be funny in front of their group of cackling hyena highschoolers that like to screech like chimps in the TS for validation. also this has been suggested back and forth so many times, pretty sure more than three? correct me if I'm wrong on that. but if that's the case, this is probs gonna be auto-denied unless you got it waived through management.

    Jet's Unit

-1 Jet's Unit IS Spec Ops. That was the rationalization behind saving SO in the first place. Their troopers looked like Jet's Unit, but black and red and Jet's Unit served under Mundi, so their idea was that SO must be 21st. No offense, but you guys are asking way too much with the current state of Galactic Marines and 21st as a whole.
  25. +1 Not needed.
