@Bleach @Pythin@Chaseman I not here to argue nor Do i disrespect your opinion I am just saying why judge someone on past experiences when they are trying to strive for a better future and also the simple fact of look how far Ive come even with the cards that I was dealt. My reasoning behind it is because other than Number and myself there are no other active senior officers and i say that with respect. The fact of the matter is that this battalion needs someone who is willing to be on and make changes. Therefore I do not see anyone else nor has anyone else said that they would run.

Tell me Butters, if someone was applying for this position right now would you have posted this application? Because if not and you only posted this because no one else is going too then it feels like you’re doing this for the wrong reason. Do you want to be Bacara? Do you want to leave a legacy in the battalion and actually mean something to it? I want the battalion to strive because great people have come from it, it has always been the battalion that truly shows the positive input of serious rp; people like Oxen, Matra, Smokes, dare I say Gene, and Medic have all been people who were in that battalion and were outstanding people to have on the server.
Can you tell me with a straight face that you can live up to their potential and maybe even surpass their legacies? Because if you don’t strive to be the best Commander you’ve ever seen and are only applying because “oop no one else is gonna do it” then I gotta -1 you. Tell me otherwise and I’d love to support you.

 I've seen you in DU from private all the way up to 2ndLT. I've watched you in 21st grow from CSM to Major. You have great leadership potential, but first I have a few questions.

@DiploI plan on putting the right people in high places and how to get numbers well if you show others that you work well as not only a battalion but as a family then they will get to like that environment and tell that to others. You cant force people to join but if they enjoy how things are said and done in trainings and patrol then they can seem to take a liking towards your battalion and join it if not already.

Butters. I have a few things for ya. First off not having someone in the BCMD position doesn't necessarily a bad thing for a battalion. I should know, as I was leading CG back in the day as a LTC after Helpert stepped down. So having someone running for the position just for the sake of running is more harmful than good. That is why we have Commanders, Senior Officers, and Officers in general. 

Secondly, my time around you, even with my reduced time from school starting, I haven't seen a lot of leadership from you. But again to anyone reading this, this is only from a massively small sample size from when butters is on and when I'm on. But this comes from your time as Lead of ARF with in the 21st. I know there was things that was causing issues with this.

There are other things from recent events that makes me concern.

So if you want to talk to me about this, I'm open to it. And I am open to reconsider my stance.

But for now, its a -1 bub.

I'm going to reserve my vote for a little bit and I'm going to try and talk to some members of your battalion. Some have been quite vocal as of late and while you have otter on your side they have yet to announce if they are supporting you or not on the app. I will either wait for some replies to hit the app from them or i will seek them out in the upcoming days. Jaydon had a lot of support from your battalion and it showed quite a bit between the commander report and his application and he still voided his app. I'd like to see a bit more on what you battalion mates have to say before i make my choice.

So I’ve known Butters here for a few months. While there’s not a lot of detailed plans given here, I know what a hard worker Butters is and that he will give his 100% to this. How do I know this? Simple during Butters’s time in DU, the amount of effort he put into the ARF program as ARFL and the amount of effort he put into DU as a whole.  
Knowing the work ethic of this man, seeing how far he’s come in bettering himself as a person and working hard to get away from the toxic behavior he previously showed on top of speaking with him myself in TS I’m very comfortable giving him my +1

Just gonna say,  I've personally seen this myself with several people including Valor before he was banned from the community.   

You might be asking "Zen,  Why are you bringing that person up?"  and the answer is:  People who normally have this mindset do good and then nosedive because they get burnt out to the point that they start going "I didn't want to but nobody else was gonna do it".

Im not doing cause nobody else is going to do im doing it because A. no one else wants to and B. I dont wanna sit here and waste potential. Some of you know me some of you dont. I put in a lot of work and effort into things that i care about the most and the 21st being one of those things.

Your battalion votes out a BCMD for making a controversial move and the solution is to put in place someone who is even more controversial?
This seems like a great way to doom a battalion's future by going back down the same rabbit hole which is gonna kill the battalion's activity again.

I don't think it's the best choice to rush a random guy into the position who doesn't seem to want
Next time. before you make a quick decision to remove your only good option for a BCMD.

Comics... I stated that i would want him to stay but he he doesnt feel comfortable in his position to do whatever he thinks in necessary. Claw wanted Jaydon to be his successor Jaydon Doesnt want Bacara. Also I dont understand this grudge on me personally because of the fact that i was on an LOA till the day that the commander report was posted to figure out wtf was going on. We had a huge battalion meeting in the 21st discord and sorted everything out claw go tto hear what everyone had to say and he decided to leave not just cause he was noble because he saw the raw potential in us. I dont want people thinking that claw was kicked out because he wasnt. 

none the less I will not argue I just wanted to inform you of the situation that occured.

I read through it and listened to what people said and saw the same actions that claw made bfore i went on a 9 day LOA out of state and responded truthfully to what I felt.

Why don’t ya’ll wait a damn minute and figure yourselves out before you decide to shove a BCMD in.  You don’t need one to work properly, you have an XO who’s capable enough to run a battalion, you have good enough numbers, and good regiment leadership.  
 

It has happened in 21st before, and every-time we try to shove some random fucker into BCMD, it goes to fucking shit.

I initially supported this because I don’t think any of our other officers weren’t ready/didn’t want to apply, but I am going to have to change my mind after reading some of these posts and looking into it more sorry man.

 

You joined the battalion 8/2 you have been on a total of 3 LOAs totaling 16 days total of LOA time. You’ve been in the batt for 37 days total which means you have only been in this batt for 3 weeks active time at most. I think you should give it another month and get some more experience before jumping into a BCMD position too early. Sorry butters -1

 

PS: We don’t need a Bacara immediately, only exception I would Make is jaydon since he was essentially Claws Xo even though he didn’t have the rank. Give it some time 
 

And for all the people who were wondering, Jaydon was suppose to be the one who replaced Claw due to him practically running the batt without the title, but he voided his app.

Past experiences tend to show a loose pattern which can give you an indicator to future intentions.
