Hey there, I was trying to get on the server again but I keep having a "Couldn't CRC map maps/rp_anaxes_synergy_v3.bsp, disconnecting" can someone help. I'd like to come around again

Interesting action to take. Apart of me would have liked to have seen this a while ago, but better late then never. I know I don't have much ground to stand on as I have been off the server for a while. But still love the 21st to hope for the best for the battalion. During my time on, I have never really seen a bad relationship between SO and GM, or I was blind to it. Best of luck 21st and my you rise like a phoenix from this. -PUCK

From my perspective, it was after. I mean you have members like Fenrir, Akula, and I think big boss join KU after the SO stop recruiting because I remember training Akula in EOD and it was after the stoppage. And people going AFK, inactive or left the battalion has happened and keeps happening at the same rate, at least before I left recently, at the same rate as those who left because of the SO stoppage. -PUCK

It is interesting that you are considering on moving the Med position to a full time GM, to see if this moves the needle to balancing the two groups is to be seen. If we look at the battalion as it stands now and it would just bring one member from SO to GM and still have a 2:1 ratio between the two, and not counting NC. The bulk of SO members are in ARF and ARC. But again if you implement the medic change, I hope that it balances it out. When it comes to holding the SO recruitment for a short time, while I agree with you that some people left the battalion because they couldn't be SO, it did help balance out the battalion between the two groups, and was incentivized by the possibility of becoming KU. And around this time, we almost had a full KU group. I mean I can suggest an idea of having those who may be interested in SO to try GM for a short amount of time to see if that might enjoy being a GM. And if they don't then they will go ahead and move on to SO. -PUCK

I agree with Fenrir in this case, as this the 21st battalion is more then just SO or GM, but there is not a lot of discussion about GM or even KU at that. While yes you said that you stated that you wanted to be diverse with the battalion and want one active members in each branch. This starts with a balance between GM and SO. Looking at the roster there is 6 GM/KU, 15 SO/SC and 2 NC. I know everyone has their preference, and the fact that SO has a perk, having a cloak, and GM doesn't have a perk unless you go through KU, which is a Westar. But the WestAR is with SC also, and ARC, which makes that leg up be thrown out the window. So as there were concerns that people had with Oxen's path when it comes to SO/SC, I am concerned about GM/KU with you. This stems with you stating that taking GMACT out of the SO/SC required training. And them having their own training. I know I have been out of the server and 21st for a bit, but this has always been a problem for 21st between having members in GM and SO ever since I came back and especially when most of the battalions lost their "perks" For now I'm ganna stay neutral because of these concerns. -PUCK

Butters. I have a few things for ya. First off not having someone in the BCMD position doesn't necessarily a bad thing for a battalion. I should know, as I was leading CG back in the day as a LTC after Helpert stepped down. So having someone running for the position just for the sake of running is more harmful than good. That is why we have Commanders, Senior Officers, and Officers in general. Secondly, my time around you, even with my reduced time from school starting, I haven't seen a lot of leadership from you. But again to anyone reading this, this is only from a massively small sample size from when butters is on and when I'm on. But this comes from your time as Lead of ARF with in the 21st. I know there was things that was causing issues with this. There are other things from recent events that makes me concern. So if you want to talk to me about this, I'm open to it. And I am open to reconsider my stance. But for now, its a -1 bub. -PUCK

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that rule was put in place after an ex-member of the community trashed multiple battalion's and server's docs after a falling out. as for this appeal, I'm a little torn as, I was here when the previous event occurred, and it was a pain in reconstructing the docs that was trashed. So I guess for me, if the server can get assurances from you Dagger, that you would not do this again, even if it is your doc, then I'll +1 this. Just remember that , once you submit a doc to a battalion and it is used, its the battalion's doc, unless a new doc is being used and you and the HC of that battalion gives the ok to take it down so you avoid being in the same position as you are in now. -PUCK

This might have to do with my play time, but I have not seen you in game as Doom, which is a little red flag to me. I haven't interacted with you, see how you deal with issues or command your troops. To be frank with you, I think you should work on DU and then rise up the ranks by going to RCMD and gaining more leadership knowledge that way instead of going from BCMD and jump to MCMD which is a completely different beast. The other applicant has experience with dealing with multiple battalions and how to work with them. While I agree that having new and different faces within HC is good, but that person should have an experience level backs up the position. So that is a -1 bub -PUCK

If we are bringing battalions back, I think the 187th is the last of those battalions. For one, there is no lore BCMD unlike the 327th and the 91st who had BCMDs that had impact when it comes to star wars. If you want Mace to interact with clones more, then all he has to do is come to base and do so. From my time on this server, I have never really seen those who play Mace interact with the 187th to begin with. Even if we add a whole new battalion to the server where would they go? we ran out of space for CTs which is why they were shoved into the showers. The base is pack and we need to work with that. So yeah bud but this is a massive -1 bub -PUCK
