  1. -1 I might be mistaken, but I was under the impression there was a HL2 rocket ammo box that loaded up to 4-6 rockets (I forget the max amount in half life). If a GM wants you to have more rockets, I would suppose they'd spawn that in for you. Otherwise, you should probably conserve them and keep at least 1 for a target(s) that actually needs it.

    Turrets Mk. 3

    +1 Want shoot big gun.
  3. I mean yeah. It's 1 damage more and it adds 1 damage per shot while increasing the accuracy would also increase the amount of shots that actually land their hits. I think with the proposed shield buffs, they'll already be pretty alright at anchoring a location but with increased accuracy, I think they could already be really good and wouldn't need the damage buff. As discussed above by Jad, if I had to take one or the other I'd rather take the accuracy buff. I don't recall the CG helmet off the top of my head, but yeah. I mean like I said, it's subjective but I like the standard heavy helmet. Sorry if it doesn't line up with your preferences.
  4. Overbuffing multiple sections at once is very rarely a good idea. I agree with maybe increasing their accuracy, but I'd much rather wait for the shield buff to get a response to gauge the HVY effectiveness (damage is not the only measure of worth). Okay, so... we're doing this. Anyone who doesn't care about fighting games can skip to the end of the segment. In DBFZ, you utilize multiple characters in a tag team of 3. This is commonly referred to as Point (primary meterless char), Mid (2nd or auxiliary character) and Anchor (heaviest meter eating character). Frieza is typically the latter and pops off with meter (though there are better chars, most of the dlc roster). And no, you don't have to even play as golden frieza to get golden... you just have to build meter on your other chars and get a hard knockdown into install. Similar to the different equipment a trooper's kit might have (DC-15a, Z-6 Rotary, shield if given) you do not use only one part but all these parts in conjunction to measure the worth. Your analogy is that because an aspect of a kit is really good, you need to buff the worse off aspects to compete. Subjective In a game with not great hit registration, latency, etc it is really hard to keep a weapon about pumping out as much firepower as possible relevant with a damage scaling as well as keeping it relevant in the overall metagame of the weapons. If we buff Z-6 damage and it turns out stronger than the ARF sniper in DPS, do we buff that next? Do we buff the SUP shotty in response to that? Also if you can't hit things at point blank then that sounds like a genuine skill issue.
  5. +1 Sure, why not.
  6. +1 Why not. I don't even have a sidearm as Rancor HVO.
  7. From my extensive testing of blowing myself up often, just about any entity seems like it can.
  8. I read the title and instantly went to -1, but I was relieved upon reading it. +1
  9. +1 I think this seems like a good idea and I assume the current leadership/members of DU are cool with handing over their shields to the rest of jobs? If it comes to it, I think it'd be fine to let them keep shields on a majority of their jobs while having shields in other bats remain specifically for heavy.
  10. Yeah, I think it'd be a good precedent to have in general since I don't think it should be causing too many issues.
  11. +1 Both would be nice. SUP doesn't just have to mean pilot and it'd let the GM SUP fit the other units while on the ground.
  12. I think addressing the role of heavy as a whole on the server is a good idea. Giving KU Weapon Spec a minigun + a sniper though... gonna have to say nah on that one. I understand your intention to make it a weapon master-esque job, but it just doesn't really fit. -1
  13. I'd argue if the logic for SOBDE getting it is detecting cloakers then it should just be put on every job capable of doing so such as RC, 21stSO, Assassin Droid, and any others I've forgotten at the moment. Jedi as a maybe but their detection is forced based so idk. Edit: Also as a note, I'm not really sure what this would do to drive up ARF numbers. It's cool, but it won't really do much since your starting post says specifically not to track invisible targets and most of the time you can hear something shuffling if they're on the other side of a wall. I could see a few situations where it might be useful, but overall it seems more like a tool for the sake of having something new.
  14. +1 It's just an outdated job title at this point.
  15. +1 They're basically the basic trooper of SO, they hardly add anything in themselves and would free more space for SO. I do agree with comments about trying to keep SO and GM somewhat equal, but I think that ultimately if people like SO more then we shouldn't suppress it.

    Tracking Beacons

Is there a way for it to be removed without the object/person it is on being destroyed/dying? Like if two hunters spot one on another hunter, can it be punched to be broken or something?
  17. I'm not going to vote either way really, but honestly I'm kinda more worried for the droid's durability? Event characters like Grievous run around with at least ten times the health and still get lit up to all hell, but these guys are supposed to do it without access to things like force absorb? And against enemies they're (presumably from reading this?) not allowed to target back against (troopers). It seems like it'd be hard to pull off for anything except maybe duels. They don't get the anonymity of regular hunters so if they try to enter the base or hop to the deployed planet, a trooper could just turn around and call them out before the whole swarm light him up. It seems like they'd have to work very well with GMs to get a deployment that wouldn't compromise them (which like Katy pointed out, it does feel very CISish). I'm also curious if there wasn't another option. Obviously, jedi hunters seem the best to match a lone (or multiple) jedi in a straight duel. But what about hunters that specialize in killing jedi? Aside from those with brains that might try to catch them off guard with snipers and flanking, a more forward approach I feel would be looking to past lore sources for things like flamethowers (not really an option for a kit class) or explosives (which I'm not sure how easy it would be to get authorized or to maintain this kind of role you seem to want to implement). Overall, just throwing my opinion on it. Like I said, I think it seems a fine addition but I'm wondering about the survivability of the droids.
  18. +1 A little diversity would go a long ways.
  19. +1 Never thought I'd get to see it.
  20. This is either the smallest or biggest brain play
  21. Might need someone to confirm, but isn't this already the case with Appo? IIRC, his design was just considered standard 501st design (from the movies) and doesn't the new models have 1/3rd of their pattern options the same as his?
  22. +1 Could do nice stuff with the witches and all now.
  23. +1 Do it. Let my man Marvel have his JTs.
  24. -1 Lmao no.

    More Stealth Weapons!

+1 It's an interesting idea and I'd like for people to have the option if they so wish.
