I’d like to take a minute to pay respect to all the people who were injured in the mass shootings that’s happened this week. It’s always terrible for these things to happen, and for 3 to happen in a week is just rough.

For real. It's rough times. You never know what you have and when it will be gone. You need to appreciate the moments you get and the time you have. To everyone here, don't waste your lives, cherish those around you, You never know how much longer you have the chance.

-1 I'm sick and tired of people +1'ing apps because of people's names and their legacy. As far as I'm aware you haven't been too active in the community (look at me being a hypocrite, but i'm not applying for a position). Overall, I think the other two candidates have more reason as to why they would be better candidates, both of them are in the 41st (i'm unaware if you currently are) and I know Egg and his legacy of being very loyal to the 41st. I don't know you and don't know where your loyalties lie, in my opinion a BCMD or even a Regimental should actually give a shit about the Battalion/Regiment they're applying for and care for the well-being of the battalion/regiment, and I can't say I have any reason to believe that you care for the 41st. I know you're a good guy Technodad, I've only had good interactions with you, but I don't think you're the right person to lead the 41st.

After an on and off 3 years, and 1 month, I am finally saying a somewhat official goodbye to Synergy Roleplay (and icefuse before the split but we don't talk about it). I had a great time on Synergy, playing it after a day of middle school, because I knew people here and it was a lot of fun to hangout here and on the server, but now that high school approaches, I want to move on to other things, specifically other games, and if I stay, I know it'll take up too much of my time, besides I just got removed from the staff team for big time inactivity (not a surprise) because I thought playing a game with dinosaurs would be a better use of my time, but anyway, I think it's for the better that I make leave now, 2 hours before the bell rings for the first day of high school, and tbh I don't even know where to go when I get there, so that's pretty epic, anyway I'd like to recite my journey with all of you because this isn't a staff resignation so I can do whatever I want on this post. So I started out a wee 11 year old lad on a hot july day, actually it was more like 7-9 at night for me but same thing. It was 2016, I was approaching middle school, and I decided to hop on Garrys Mod, a game which I bought back near christmas of 2015 to play with a friend, but left somewhat abandoned since. I saw Star Wars RP near the top, and being the guy who just got into star wars in november 2015 because of a friend and a new movie release, I thought it'd be good to try out, so I went on some server before I originally went onto icefuse and was trained there. I was trained by a guy named Penny (idk how I remember his name), but soon when I left to try out other servers, I found icefuse, which was at 100 players at the time, so I said screw that other server, this one is bigger, and so I connected. I remember my training being crazy. Had like 2-3 trainers, one without a mic, but I remember a 187th, 501st, and a 104th doing it I believe. I soon intended on joining the 212th because of a roblox game I played 2 years before where I was in the 212th, but then as I walked through the lobby the next day probably, I saw an advert, for 91st tryouts, so I walked in. I failed those tryouts. But when I was walking out, they said they'd still let me in, because they were short on members anyway, great strategy by the 91st, because whoever made that decision changed the 91st forever. So I was in, and I was a minge, I was 11 and undisciplined on the internet, and there was a case where everyone was promoted up 2 ranks, but because I stole ammo (which I thought was for everyone), I was only promoted one rank, so I was a LCPL, because I was already a PFC before, and I also chose heavy. But soon I was given PT, I learned from that PT, I could've disconnected and never returned, but I did it, and thanks to @Zanderand @Tomas, I'm here today, because I would've been banned later on in my life of not trying be to a minge but was a minge, but I soon learned my lessons of messing around and tried to fit into the server, and over time I ranked up in the 91st, joined staff team, and ranked up throughout the 91st and the community. I also soon got T2 VIP, and soon I became a Jedi Youngling, and then Jedi Master eventually, Adi Gallia specifically. I took 3 tries at youngling trials, and at that time the rhino system was used so someone used lightning, blamed it on me, and I got demoted, whoever blamed me I hope they're not around swrp anymore, bad person. Anyway, over time stuff occured. @Joahif you see this one day i'll get you your 50 dollars back, but now I went to medieval rp, worst mistake of my life. Sure people liked what I did there a bit but it was gonna fail, and I left at the wrong time. The server switched to dark rp, didn't leave, then I left, and then it shutdown, so I missed a 1-1 rank transfer, and soon I was off the staff team again. But then synergy happened a few months later, and the corruption of icefuse was revealed. Very epic. I was a head admin for like 2-3 days for teamspeak management, so I want my head admin transfer rank when i return, also I'm being rushed so this part may be quite short, but now synergy exists, and I was a good trainer for the first week of it, I remember that. Soon into synergy's existence, the 91st was removed, this broke me, and I left for a period of time, and then came back as a CT PVT, and then CT SGT probably. And then 91st came back, and everything was ok, and now I've been on and off the server, but now it's almost official, I want to return later on but I don't know if I can due to school, so without much more to do, I say goodbye, to synergy roleplay... just kidding not yet I still have names @Zander& @Tomas Wouldn't be here without you two, thank you for the PT and the great times on the server. @JoahThank you for existing and making a server away from icefuse. 50 dollars I owe you will come when I get a job or something i'll pay it through server donations or something idk @Lazer& @Fizzikog 91st people, good job on existing and we had great times together on the server i'm short on time so post below and I'll give you a note when I get home goodbye bolt btw for the bolt lore, i'll finish it sometime, maybe just on the forums of what would've happened

@Bolt As someone that has finished highschool, all I can say is this. Nothing truly matters there socially. You may feel it does in the moment or whatever, but I promise it doesn't. The only thing that matters for highschool is your grades and finishing ontop. If you wanna be left alone, keep a good sense of humor but don't be afraid to take off the belt if you need to and verbal smack down people into their place. More on that, don't let fights continue more then the moment you're there verbal smacking. It doesn't matter how much shit someone spreads about you, being the bigger dude and not acknowledging it will do alot for you. In the end, you think you know what's important when in highschool. You think you got it all figured out and you're an adult now. No, no you're not. Listen to your parents, and close long time friends, they will be the best supporters and the only ones who matter. Lastly, don't be afraid to cut people off. Never hold onto someone just because you knew them for a long time, or they are sometimes positive, it only does massive damage to yourself. Hm. I’m not really sure to make out of this application. For one part, it seems as if you disappear once in a while and as it states on your application that you plan to make out a 2 year term (of course re-applying every 3 months.) I like you Technodad, ever since MilitaryRP, you’ve been one of the most serious RPers we had and i’ve seen that personally. I think that you are good for this position but one thing leaves me questioning before making my vote, ”Are you certain that going for this position will make you maintain your activity?”

So here is the thing. I don't see these as viable reasons to -1 an applicant. We are not here to vote on the timing of an application. While yes, I agree the timing is odd, this is not the reason to evaluate an applicant negatively. We are here to see if the community believes that the person in question would be good for the position. Its an honest evaluation of the character and leadership potential of the individual. The 'Pending' Applications are not accepted, so it in with this in mind that we should still be on the lookout for more options, even if the other applications are far along in their process. Now onto my opinion. Techno, You've been my commander in the 91st since day 1 for me. You've inspired my to be both a better leader and a better person. You've always been a great commander, and I want to see you go far and spread your excellent capabilities to others. This is quite possibly the biggest +1 I have ever given. Good luck Techno.

+1 I prefer 500 Fordo/Alpha, Its so extremely hard to get in Alpha, The Same Difficulty as SOBDE, You have to be trained in Every single thing. Not to Brag, But Alpha Is the second only to null (No hard Feelings in RC} I'm sure they'll hold an extremely high regard in the GAR.
