i tell you kids, back in my day, we had it so rough... or so much better, i can't tell anymore. anyway, every day, we would wake up at 2 in the morning and go to the forums for juicy drama. we all lived in a closet, you see, so it was one room. and we would ask, me and joah and square and jackson, "what's for todays update?". joah would smack us all with a shoe and say "content". and if we complained and said "but we added content yesterday" - because we had worked on updates every day - he would smack us all five times with a shoe and say "tough its all your gonna do. i'm trying to feed a family of me with just half a silver buckington", a silver buckington was about the same as half a 250,000 credit purchase back in the day. then we would head to the teamspeak. we met up with the admins from down the teamspeak channels, and would code the 1674 lines of trash to make the updates they wanted. on the way to teamspeak, we had to deal with the discord messages that piled up during our 1 hour of sleep, it was so tall it extended to outer space. when we got to the top of the messages, we would see the good boys with their fancy messages - which they dont make like they used to, and we would be forced to talk to them for 'good relations'. then, when we finally got to the server at 4 in the morning, the players would come up to us and say "your worthless trash and never put time into the server or my suggestion for c3po with fat tits and a fuckable pussy. i hate you", then they would smack us all with the arrest batton 10 times and tell us we had 7 years of updates to make up for. then, we went to restricted areas so players couldnt reach up, and staff team would say "ok listen up idiots", then he would tp to us and spank us each 60 times, then hit us each with the stun batton 40 times each. then it was 7 at night and we had to try and play another game to feel better after all the abuse. then, when we got on LoL, we'd ask joah "whats the play today?", and he'd smack us each 50 times with a verbal abuse and say "this is why i love jackson more". and if we complained, he would verbally smack us each 100 times with a fire comeback and say "im trying to feed a family of 154 on just one islet sliver, just you wait until your dad (Mods) gets home" - now an islet silver was worth about as much as a tac insert (or a lightsaber crystal). then, when our dad got home from his job at the Havoc factory, he would hit us all 180 times with his belt. if we had been naughty, we would hit us all another 600 times. then, at 12:58, joah would say "ok time for bed". then, we got into our potato sacks, and he would hit us with text messages to do updates tomorrow before we went to sleep.

Hey Korm, I think about you alot, way more than I ever expected. I hope you're doing well. I miss you man, and I have alot of Star Wars lore that you never got to see, I hope to one day share it all with you. Your memory lives on, with me, and many others. I hope you're resting easy. Thanks again for everything brother.

Hello all, I wanted to let those of you, friends of Korm (Alex) know that unfortunately he has passed away. His brother was kind enough to notify those in discords with him that he would no longer be here and has passed away due to health complications. I cannot exress how kind and giving Korm was not only to this community but all the players within it. From the hours and hours put into the ARK server, to SOBDE suggestions driving me insane, to general assistance with whoever needed it, Korm never stopped and always put himself out there to help those around him even at risk of his own personal gains. Korm's family has a GoFundMe setup for his mother, to assist with funeral costs and this difficult time. If you have a few extra dollars to put towards him, I would request you do so. It is the least we can do as a community to pay him back for the work he has done. I personally have already put in a donation. I request we use this thread for respectful thoughts, support, or hopefully stories you shared with Korm, good or bad. Things you will hold onto to ensure that his memories remain and he never truly dies. I know he would of liked leaving one last laugh, or joyful memory to this community. Memories become all that we are, I will make sure Alex's memory stays here, I owe him that. I hope you all can do the same. Rest easy, brother. We love you.

Listen @Clank, I've known you a long time. We all still talk about you in discord, sometimes about you, your wookie, or your amazing exposed or gmod dancing videos. It really sucks to hear you've hit such a bad spot. You know we are always here for you if you need something. You've always been here for us when we needed a good laugh. But more importantly than that, I hope you can take this oppurtunity to get better. You need to focus on yourself, on your future, and on becoming you again. Focus on one day at a time, it does get better. I've been exactly where you are. I know 'it gets better' sounds unreal, but I promise it does. You can't quit. If you need someone to talk to at any time, you have my number, and if you no longer do, you can ask for it. I would much rather drop some of my time than hear that you threw all yours away. Try and talk it out with your family, see if you can move back in, if not, rent somewhere or bunk at a friends. If bunking isn't an option and you can't afford to rent message me and we can figure something out together. When COVID ends I want to see you again man, don't take that away, please. Hey. I had a much more crude and cold post originally, but I wiped it. I am resigning again, and likely permanetly from Synergy. I will continue to assist Square as he needs assistance with updates but I do not wish to have a direct role, or responsibility to this community. I feel I have put in more than my fair share of time and effort over my multiple years here and that time needs to find it's end. With that, I request you do not DM me in relation to Synergy on discord or Steam as those are mine and I will likely block you. If you have something for me, message me here. My reason for leaving relates hard to three factors that I will not go into in detail on, as to leave on a more positive note. The short version is between my health, job, and the Gmod culture, I have no drive or time that I want to dedicate to this project. To the person who leaked my resignation coming up, fuck yourself, that's not your news to share and you are a prime example of the shitty culture built deep into Gmod (Not Synergy, Gmod). This is actually a really good idea, kinda rough for figuring out a good setup that is fair and visable. But I like the idea. The other problem that might rise in a setup of this is trying to compensate for taxes. Because the server sees about 1/3 of all profits go to taxes. Then to the box, ts, forms, etc. But I like this idea. @Joah might agree, or disagree.
