My opinion is always for RP overall. I would rather take a performance hit, as long as it's not critical, for the RP. There is no question that the RP with the current saber system is infinitely better than Rhino. IMO it is a no brainer to keep the current saber system as it's much more interesting than Rhino.

Name: Jorrdan Suggestion: Making troopers (except Shock) remove their helmets in debrief, to bring roleplay to the debriefings. I feel as if all roleplay stops at the debrief door and the immersion stops. If we are more uniform and remove our helmets in debrief it will 1. Look way better and professional and 2. bring the immersion and roleplay inside the debrief Another suggestion I have is saluting the naval and high command that walk down the center, back in the day it was beautiful seeing the chat explode with salutes but now with our saluting Sweps I think it will look even better. It will bring more discipline into debriefing. On the same topic of saluting, saluting when you get shouted out in debrief. It will probably look very awkward if everyone gets up to do this in the middle of the debrief so maybe bring back /me salutes so everyone can stay seated but still bring that immersion in, saluting when getting shouted out shows your respect for the person shouting you out and shows discipline in your battalion. Overall this wouldn't do anything but bring roleplay to the server and bring discipline to battalions and give people that immersion we all want. Implementation: Not a rule but an Expectation that you take your helmet off in debrief and salute those walking in and when being shouted out. I don't want to force people to because I know everyone HATES when we force people to do stuff but I feel as this is just a step in the right direction for roleplay Lore: N/A

Ehhh.. I get it, you want medics to be able to reach their target to heal a little bit faster, only its really not needed. Medics play an important role, but in no way should they run faster in a logical sense. If anything, carrying their medical equipment would make them slower. At the end of the day, they're just like every other trooper, but with a medkit, and on top of that you want to add a boost to speed. I'm just iffy about this one chief. But if medics got this, on top of the already in development/testing defibs, it won't end. Next you'll see engineers asking for more armour, or ARF asking for better jump height/speed too. I understand why it would help, but there are already a lot of medics, just note medics aren't the only in-battalion regiment on the server. I'm gonna stick to a -1 for this.

I’ll give some insight on what Senators are supposed to be doing. Senators during my term were repeatedly reminded that they had no military power and could only suggest things for the clones to do. They also had no ability to AOS or forcibly make someone do something other than protecting them. Also, what you’re talking about is a removable offense within Senators. I am personally of the opinion that Senators is a good thing for the server to have, but needs to be kept on a short leash. There should never be a Senator who is breaking character or doing something that isn’t in RP. We started having base meetings where officers, Jedi, and naval would all come talk to us, similar to an actual Senate meeting. The whole point of Senators is to promote RP and if you’re saying that Senators are not, which could be, then you or whoever sees them doing something other than that needs to contact Mas Amedda and have them handled. Also, Senators are required to fill out a sign-in stating when they were on, for how long, and who witnessed them. This is done to keep them active and they can be removed for failing to fill this out. On top of that, they also have to fill out a form weekly stating what they did in RP that week, etc. We have low Senator right now because tryouts needed an overhaul. Before the tryouts got changed and we wiped Senators for lack of RP etc, we had over 15 people. I have no doubt that this system works and js effective. -1

I would rather see a lore/RP friendly lightsaber duels and suffer some lag rather than seeing glorified jousting and a hallway of clones being killed as a jedi chances a Sith or the Sith walks through. It's not the mods fault the map can't handle it. It works fine on previous maps and the base.

Uhh GMOs don't decide that wut. Also Clones did not stop to put their helmet on all the time once getting jumped. Several clones throughout the war were seen in skirmishes without helmets. We should be roleplaying as if we're on a secure Republic base on Endor. (Yes it gets attacked 5-10 times a day but still) In the shows, movies, and comics you see Clones take their helmets off practically anywhere. (Almost every time they're in some sort of Briefing their helmets are off. Ex: 2nd Battle of Geonosis when Anakin is running Ashoka's briefing several of them have their helmets off but not all and keep in mind this is literally out in the open on fucking Geonosis so imagine what Debriefs for the Republic would look like.) Some of y'all are acting like our Debriefs get shot up more by the CIS or anyone else for that matter but in reality DB gets shot up more by CTs than anything else.

Senators have plenty of things that they can do. If the person behind the job isn't creative enough to come up with something to do for the day or even something to entertain themselves with, then that is the problem of them, not Senators. I personally had plenty to do as Lux, months ago. I would ask clones for check-ups., debate Republic law with troopers, or even yes, get captured. It's up to you, as a Senator, to bolster the RP on the server. For those who can't handle that, then they resign or are eventually kicked for inactivity. The point of them having no rank is because they shouldn't have one. In Lore, Senators are merely politicians. They are nothing more than a civilian with a following and it shows in the show. We see characters like Padme fall in line with the drum of war and go off on missions for the Jedi. We also see plenty of Senators do a number of "non-senator" like things. It's up to them to find a way around the wall of "I'm bored and I don't have any ideas". The new Senator tryout is all about how well you can RP. If you can come up with all the things asked of you then, you should have no problem coming up with it once you get a job to play on.

Don't remove them completely, cos in a few months time someone will post a suggestion saying "WHERE'S MY SENATORS?!" Maybe all you need to do is remove their authority to give orders? Although, having a senator with no form of influence or power is kinda... weird.. Also, having senators gives players something else to aspire to play as, maybe what needs to happen is a chat with Mas Amedda and the next Palpatine, and through this discussion you can come up with more "realistic" ideas on portraying roleplay with the senators. Cos let's face it, senators are cool, and they're different. Also, I'm sure senators on the base is the least of worries, it's a GMOD server, not a movie franchise. Neutral, I like the idea but there is pros and cons.

I'd also like to be the Devils advocate and say, when we were on the base, the WiltOS worked perfectly fine, its due to the fact that we're on the Venator and everyone is in the same area. Its player load in the same area when it comes to lightsaber combat from what i've seen and experience. If we get battlestations back it will probably have less load because we're not moving around all the time chasing a single commando droid down the hallway.
