I think i remember it was in the 41st one when the whole overhaul stuff came down and he had a freak out on everyone that disagreed with said suggestion for removing a bunch of stuff and possibly gutting subunit stuff. And then there was the freakout on the regimental reapplication. Oh and also cheating on the wordle to flex Honestly though, id expect a "guy pushing 40" to be able to be able to be a bit more mature or at least able to reflect on mistakes and how to better improve themselves. It seems that you miss the community and the people in it because you are insufferable and don't have anybody to move on to because nobody wants to be around you. Maybe change the suggestion to take the shields away from normal DU to open them up for your fanon squad and then I'll start to thinking about changing my vote to a +1. As this suggestion and the battalion sits, the squad shouldn't exist and this suggestion gets a -1 from me, primarily for balance reasons and it goes against the agreement to get them added in the first place.

Its still on the desktop version and the notifications pop up, but they fade away if you don't click them right away and it only shows the most recent notification.

I am going to keep this short. If someone is banned indefinitely, they should remain banned. Doing this makes no sense because this ban would just become a 6 month ban. The people who are banned indefinitely are generally very toxic and detrimental members to the community. The people who are punished in this way have to appeal these bans to the community that they hurt, and I believe that it should stay that way. Automatic unbanning, without needing to appeal of these specific people is a slap in the face to the community that they were removed from. -1

Im writing this on my phone while trying to get ready for work, so bear with me here. I'll agree, 41st wasn't in the greatest place at the time of my removal, I was burned out after having to fend off 2 hostile takeovers and I just wanted to play some star wars. But you have many things wrong in your claim as to what happened and idk if its just time and you forgot, because it was a hot minute ago. First, my commanders were Jordan, xeight, and Kazuto. Cloud was a major at the time I believe and is an entirely different cloud from @justuscloud5. Two of these commanders were on LOA at the time because people have lives and I understood that, so there wasn't a commander on at all times to keep things going, especially since I work at a grocery store and things get REALLY busy around Thanksgiving which was when this all culminated. Jefferson had resigned from cmd after the whole ordeal with freck and matra running for gree. He realized that he went too far and it was not good of him and he put the battalion in a bad light because of that, so he stepped down from his position. Hudson never actually talked to me about removing me before it happened. He would always just give me a ping in the commander chat and id say that I was at work, ask him what's up, ill be home in x hours, or ill be on tomorrow we can chat then. I was then told, "no, its all good" or just simply left on read. While I was getting removed I was simply told youre being removed but not given any actual reasoning behind it, which is why people were angry. And not everyone left because I got removed, some stayed behind because they cared for the battalion as much as I did. Sanchez had personal stuff going on and a useless reg who gutted the battalion and left a week later, so I honestly don't blame him. He tried his best with what he had and I respect that. Grief was banned after flaming Hudson so hard it made him cry, which to be fair wasn't all that difficult to do. Jefferson is the one who massrdmed, but the toxic messaging happened after you claimed he was ban evading in TeamSpeak to chill with wombat and I and play uno in the reg channel. This claim was entirely false and thats why you were targeted. A false claim that led to him being further banned. You may have wiped some legacies but you did not immediately wipe or blacklist me because I was at least still in the discord at the time lurking and talking to bean. I did depart from there after about a month and then a few weeks later put all my swrp docs into a folder and hid it away as a distant memory. I was then messaged by Chambers a week after that claiming that I was going to get in trouble for deleting docs and hurting the battalion because of that. That is also something I did not do. This is just simply untrue and so far from what even happened. I said bean should have won because bean was a better leader than you who was an officer when the battalion was alive and came up through the battalion when it was doing well. He'd been through a few ups and downs and knew how to learn from his mistakes. He fumbled the interview and also he wasn't a toxic clown who put the battalion in an even worse light than you ever said I put it in. This is just disingenuous and honestly just hurtful to do. Not all Odinsons are my friends and not all my friends are Odinsons. You lumping people into that group that are not actually apart of it is lazy and honestly just toxic, you are unable to state the names of the people that are supposed to be wronging you, so you just say "odinsons did it" like its actually supposed to mean something of value and I really dont appreciate it. You lied and embellish claims against myself in this very thing that I am quoting, seemingly in an attempt to play victim, showing me that you have not really changed.

First of all, id like to say that much of the things that you are saying is either blatantly untrue or heavily imbellished and I really do not appreciate you trying to mislead everyone in this thread for no reason at all, other than to seemingly jerk off your 41st hate boner. You personally have been a very toxic member towards myself and the members of my battalion since you joined the server I believe. My removal was done with information that Hudson got from Sanchez in a rant, who then proceeded to take it and run to high command and provide out of context information with nothing as a single talk to myself. Yes the battalion had issues, I've admitted that many times. There were minges that got into the battalion after passing the tryout, but every battalion has that, and to say that they would go unpunished is just a blatant lie and a very very big accusation that you have absolutely no real proof of, because you just hate 41st so much. If a new pvt gets arrested for trespassing in an area because he didn't see a sign or didn't fully understand the rules of the server, I would give them the benefit of the doubt and talk to them and tell them to be more careful and to watch where they're going, because as a leader, you are meant to guide and help new players to the server and battalion. If someone did rdm or get arrested for an actual serious crime, they were dealt with very quickly, we just didn't feel a need to go and publicly shame people because thats just unnecessarily cruel because it's just a game and it drives people away from the server. In terms of battalion leadership, xeight did try to have as much fun in the night time hours because its just a game and if he was ever arrested, he was dealt with accordingly, such as his breaking pts in debrief, he was demoted from major to cpt out of my senior officers and stayed at cpt for several months. The other is pythin, who caused more headaches for me than anyone else in the battalion and you've got me there ngl, if I could go back, I wouldn't have put him past 1st LT and im sorry for unleashing that evil upon the server. In regards to me putting only my friends and "odinsons" is honestly just a brainless comment. Like actually, did you even think about what you were saying before you said it? Most of them were not odinsons actually and yes they were my friends, because generally when you spend several months with people in a battalion, you generate friendships and trust between each other, or at least you should, idk about 91st because once you took over, first thing you did was cut all ties that doc and I built. In addition OF COURSE I am going to put people I trust to do the jobs that I need them to do in positions that I know that I can handle to make my life as a bcmd easier. If I don't trust someone, why would I put them in a position of power that can actively be detrimental to those in the battalion? Many of the things that youre trying to bring up and mud youre trying to sling is entirely irrelevant to this appeal, so I dont know why you thought to post it, but I believe it is entirely just to once again fuel your 41st hate boner, or just to see how much drama you can try to stir up or what, but at least try to stay on topic for once. To everyone else reading this, I apologize for the lengthy post, but in regards to my -1 this is the kind of stuff that I was talking about. Opinions and hate from other battalions based off of very little other than embellishments, out of context situations, personal hatred for the battalion, lies, and rumors. I have been taking some time to think about how to properly word my feelings about this. You said quite a few slanderous things about myself and those that I care about, so I am having a hard time with this. Yes, people can change, but they also don't. The things that I am talking about are not reasons why you were originally banned, but they are reasons why I believe that you should stay banned. Yes, those people proceeded to harass you after things that you said because some of those things that were said may have not been entirely true. What I am trying to say is, you have a very difficult and complicated history with a lot of people on this server. Both good and bad. I believe that I am one of those people who had bad experiences and still have to deal with things that were said to this day. My reputation as a commander and a person in this community was directly damaged because of the things that you and your officers said. You even stuck chambers on me and I was threatened with punishments for deleting docs without so much as a message from you regarding these documents. I will give this appeal a -1 because of all the bad blood between us that I don't think is so easily buried. However, I do wish you luck on this appeal and if you truly have changed, and if not, then good luck in life fellow gamer

I agree with the many people opposed the unprofessional manner that it was brought up and I am one of them, i thought just throwing a meme on the forums isn't really the way to go about that. I thought I touched on that, but im sorry if I didn't (im kind of at work and can't type the stuff in 1 go). I'm not saying no punishment was deserved at all (he's been banned for 6 months already), I am making my argument that his permanent ban was not entirely warranted. Maybe I am giving him some benefit of the doubt, but I had also talked to him before and after it had all happened as well, and spent quite a lot of time together discussing things while we were both bcmds of 91st and 41st. Maybe the intention was to kick up some dust, but I believe the intentions were not all bad and after talking to him much more recently about this appeal and his previous actions that led to this ban in question, I believe that he should be given another chance to be a contributing member of the community. At least in game and TeamSpeak. I dont really want to clog up this appeal more than we already have, so we can continue this discussion in another setting if you really want to.

You are correct about there being a difference between the two things. But sometimes they can also be the same thing, and by making the claim that synergy had fallen into the same pitfalls as icefuse and become something that we never wanted to be was true for many people at the time. Nobody voiced out about it out of fear of it being 100% true, but many of us who had come from icefuse and been here since the beginning felt the same way. People have even been making the same meme for long before doc ever did. The banning of doc because of saying that synergy was icefuse v2 all but confirmed suspicions and fears that many people did not want to happen. Calling people retards and nwords and telling the founders to go die, is just someone trying to kick up dirt for the sake of it. Pointing out the flaws of the server that many people shared at the time (some even still today), while may not entirely be constructive criticism but it that doesn't mean it can't be. As I said before, people who make claims like this should not be forced away like some sort of leper, but instead talked to and listen to them and try to improve things from a foundational level by making that criticism into something constructive. In regards to pointing out how something had become the something that it fled from in the first place is one of the most important criticisms that can be made. From all of my experiences with doc, and many of the og 104th is that they are brutally honest and not afraid to stand up against something that they think is wrong and always wanted what was best for all the other gamers on the server, which is something that I personally really respect. This server was born out of the fires of icefuse but with the goal and some of those same values because getting gamered on for standing up for what you believed was right was one of the reasons we left that place, but here we are today. Making criticisms and claims, yes should be well thought out and put in the correct areas, but sometimes anger and strong feelings can cause people to act a bit without thinking.

The reason for this is because a lot of the time, the criticism comes from a place of care for the server and a vision that things could be better or have declined in such a way that things are worse than previously or can be improved. The good times that were had or vision of the server had strayed from what had originally been set. Without criticism, things cannot improve and things get stagnant, which no offense, has happened quite a few times but to different things such as naval or jedi. And in this appeal and my own personal talks with him, he has realized the error of his ways and held no ill will towards the server. And in my opinion, i think the people who do end up leaving the server on not particularly great terms should be looked at and talked to as to why they think the things that they do. Instead of just casting them out and never hearing why they decided to leave or giving them a chance to possibly better themselves or the server with their ideas.

I have had my disagreements with doc over the time that we have both played on the server, but eventually grew to be friends and comrades leading the 41st and 91st together and trying to build a lasting bond between our two battalions. Some drama has been kicked up by him but, all things considered, I do not believe it is entirely deserving of a permanent ban from the server. Doc has for the most part been a very upstanding, but blunt and sometimes a bit controversial in terms of humor and memery on the server and forums, member of the community from leading a rather successful neyo term and actually doing the 91st justice to helping out in many other positions. I have talked with doc personally about his ban and in his time away genuinely has changed his attitude and I believe that he deserves this second chance. +1

-1 as it has been said before, EVERYONE'S specialty was taken away. Having this reimplimented will not only be unfair to literally every other battalion on the server, but will also make DU disgustingly overpowered. Currently every battalion is the same, which makes sense, except you all have shields that you can place down and use for mobile cover. "But egg, the shields are bad and they hardly block anything!" That's honestly tough, but thats still more than any other battalion on the server. You've been given your reality check just like everyone else. Welcome back to the real world and you have to learn to adjust and not get carried by an entire battalion of z6s.

You would hope so, but scribbles was permabanned just a few weeks ago for massive abuse again. Personally, I dont think its entirely necessary to be stacking THAT many props. It will most definitely crash the server and many of the players that are on the server at the time. If you need to be stacking more than 100 props, you should probably just change how you are building. Out of all my time being staff, I have never once hit that limit because it's more than half your props. Just use a longer or wider sheet or cube to fill the area you need. -1

@Joah they're doing it again... 327th has ALWAYS been plagued with issues on the server. From maintaining numbers, to keeping a consistent high command. As many others have said and I have seen personally, they just don't have a good niche to fill on the server. 327th has always been a jack of all trades but a master of none battalion. It never really had anything cool, special, or alluring to it and just because we are on felucia now, doesn't mean they need to be here either. Don't get me wrong, some of my best friends have come out of 327th and I treasure them and all they've done, but there's just not enough space on the server for them to thrive so they're just going to end up getting suffocated under the might of the other attack battalions for a 3rd time. Sadly I will be giving this a -1 due to not wanting people to have to endure removed battalions once again.

You have the whole subunit of GC with camo scout models that I payed for out of my own pocket bruh. EC is mechanized battalion, even in lore were primarily a vehicle battalion. Small group of ARFs is perfect for the battalion with the entire other subunit

Personally, I think the better option would be to remove GC ARF all together. Before freaking about about some retard coming in and dunking on the suggestion, here are my reasons: 1. encourages people to want to stay in EC because that is where the ARF class is. 2. SS is dead because arf is just the superior class in every way. (better weapons) 3. GC is supposed to be the recon subunit of the battalion and regiment since it is under mechanized and keeping ARF exclusive to EC makes a bit more sense to me because as I stated in reason 1, it gives EC something special especially as the vehicle class of the battalion. 4. Bring back the previous specialization of 41st GC Support trooper because scouts are superior to ARFs. Scouts are essentially phase 2 ARFs. -1 for at least an amendment of this suggestion

-1 I believe that this would take away from the "scout and recon" aspect of GC and what makes them special. There is already ARF for this reason in the EC. If anything, doing this would only split the number of people that would be ARF and end up creating another dead branch. Also specialization tryouts are bad so please take that out back and delete it before anyone gets hurt.

GC ss has always been one of the weaker classes tbh and 41st could always use a bit of love +1
