Tetra Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Name: Tetra RP Rank: CMD Suggestion: Replace 41st Elite Corps Trooper Implementation: As a recon battalion, 41st Elite Corps specializes in recon and uses the ARF trooper as our base trooper. As a result, we have no reason to use or have the 41st Trooper. Why not put it to better use? The 41st Elite Corps are known to have been deployed to various alien worlds over time, including Jungle and Forest environments. Life in these environments can be quite inhospitable, especially to humanoids, so these troopers had to adapt using their wits and combat knowledge to wage war in this hostile terrain. The 41st Pathfinders are elite jungle warriors, masters of navigating woodland environments and soaring to new heights using ziplines to get around the treetops. Armed with their bowcasters, tracking devices, and a melee weapon, these cunning hunters exceed at both medium range and close quarters combat to take down their prey. Lore: 41st Sarlaac Battalions A and B were deployed to the forest planet of Dinlo, 41st Elite Corps, Green Company, Ranger Platoon were all deployed to Kashyyyk. Green Company has also been deployed to Rodia, a jungle swamp planet. Workshop content if applicable: Workshop Link for Model Workshop Link for Melee Weapon The above model semi-reflects what we are looking for, but with a reskinning to look more like the trooper in the following image: The binoculars on the trooper in this image would be a cool extra body groupr too. Zeros Posted December 26, 2024 Banned Posted December 26, 2024 +1, this is really awesome. I love how you're taking tools you're suggesting for everyone and then making a SUPER unique job. Heavy +1. Is this going to be more of a recon thing or more of infiltration/covert ops? Gar Saxon Governor, GMD, GMM 3x, Rex 2x, 241st CMD, Guildmaster, a million other things

Is this going to be more of a recon thing or more of infiltration/covert ops? Thank you for the follow up question. Yes, the lore is a bit sparse. This job was a group effort, something many members of the 41st contributed to the idea of. We wanted to use the Ziplines in a creative way that makes sense for our battalion and wanted to design a trooper around that idea. We took the idea of what 41st already does and took it to the next level. What would happen to a trooper with long exposure to these environments, somewhere they may have little to no communication? Deep behind enemy lines? The job is inspired by three main things: Turok, the dinosaur hunter; Rambo; and hunters/rangers. Those inspirations helped inspire the kit around that. Originally we thought to have a sniper for this trooper, but I thought that would make it too similar to Green Company and wanted to differentiate it further, so as I thought about Jungle environments, it reminded me of the characters above. Turok uses a bow, but he also has access to advanced technology and that kind of clicked for me in how similar that was, in a way, to a clone trooper in this environment. 41st is also known for hostile terrain warfare and jungles in real life are really hostile areas if you aren't careful, just look at the Amazon. We see this trooper fitting in the role of covert operations, getting into locations that other troopers wouldn't be able to, marking important targets, while the remaining forces catch up, then engaging alongside, say Improcco. They'd run alongside our ARFs, assisting in getting them to locations otherwise inaccessible. Then while the ARFs are communicating the general layout of the forces and buildings and calling in reinforcements, these guys will go in deeper to find key targets, set the ground work for when the remaining forces arrive. Harper-Diesel Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 +1 I think it's a really cool Idea, just don't know how I feel about 41st not having Elite Corps (EC) when it's the foundation of the 41st's image. However, on the other hand I don't know when the last time I saw an EC on so it is possible that the change could bring life to another branch of 41st.

Marvel Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 I don’t understand ig but why don’t yall use your trooper job as it’s meant to be? An entry level job. Everyone comes in as ARF so do yall have like an ARFL or ARFOs and what’s the point of them if everyone just starts out as ARF and then probably leaves immediately for another regiment when they get the chance? That would be like having a Lead and Officers for the trooper regiment lol. Hello I am TRPL this is my TRPO. Idk I can’t personally wrap the concept around my head. Why don’t yall just add these things to your ARF job and use your trooper job for what it’s meant for? No need for any extra modeling and dev time for an imperial model which imo no offense is a little dumb. These also seem like cool addons to make one of your subunits unique as well like idk it doesn’t make much sense to me.

What is the difference between a Shiny and a 41st Trooper? Green paint. What is the point of that? When people join a battalion, they are interested in what that battalion brings to the table. By having our troopers start off as ARF troopers, it starts getting them into the specialization early. That is the point of ARFO and ARFL, to focus on training these new troopers on what the 41st is all about, as well as maintaining the standards of recon within the battalion. Don't forget that Green Company ALSO has ARF troopers that need managing and guidance as well. Additionally, we aren't limiting the new stuff to just this job. Our subunits definitely need an additional push as well and won't be forgotten. 1 Former Cin Drallig x2 | Former Serra Keto x2 | Former Branch Overseer x2 | Former Mace Windu Forever 41st Tetra

I mean nobody really has a way to know they start off as an ARF trooper by joining 41st unless told. I also don’t see why you can’t teach them recon as a trooper either? Like the ARF kit could help with the 15x but they lose it if they join any other regiment. I know we’re pushing past standardization but I think every battalion should have the standard jobs like Trooper, Medic, Heavy, ARF, etc. As well as they should all really offer the same kits outside of any battalion buff. I don’t think the job is a bad idea but I don’t see any reason to axe a base job outside of y’all’s odd fixation on not utilizing it? Also if these tools are going to your subunits too why would you want this job outside of them? Shouldn’t the draw of these subunits be these unique tools but they can just stay in the regular battalion go thru some easy tryout to get this job rather than putting in more effort to join one of the subunits instead.
