Chambers has continually shown blatant disrespect and carelessness for the community of it goes against his own personal views. He has his interests in mind, not the communities, which has already gathered much anger from the community onto himself, continually being compared to a dictator. This disrespectful nature finally reached its peak when chambers denied a post with 100% community support, completely throwing away the idea of “Synergy, where your voice can be heard”. If chambers is a face of this community then I want nothing to do with it, which truly hurts me considering all the friends and memories I’ve made here. - Doc

Now for my own opinion.

This server, Synergy, originally split of Icefuse. We left because of the abuse of power of the high staff, and the censorship of the community. Now, the whole reason we left is being put in front of us again. Chambers has shown that he can NOT handle the power of Director, and that he will only abuse it and use it for personal gain. Chambers is also very happy with his banning. He has made permabans for invalid reasons. The "helping out the door" ideology will not and DIDN'T WORK with legacy members. For the people who have no interest in the server but still have friends in the server, will want to see their friends have fun. On their posts, if they bite back at the choices of Director "Big Kid" Chambers, and want to reverse them, will probably end up with a temporary or permanent ban.

5 weeks ago, I was banned by Chambers for an issue that was already taken care of by Zim, then all of a sudden I was banned without warning, and apparently, I was not the first,

Here, I got some for you.

Chambers as a Director alone scared me, this is why.

I was having a discussion with him about why he would immediately deny a suggestion based on his own views instead of the community's, and this is what he says.

This is NOT okay, I even immediately reported this to Square.

I am not fine with this, I've been here for a very long time, and when our views are being trashed on by someone who just wants to see his way is not okay.

 

And when I say "Okay Billiam" at this point Carter is one document deletion away from being worst.

Please, I beg atleast speak to this fucking guy.

I think that Chambers needs to be pushed in the right direction by the community, and not just pushed out of his position. Removing him from director doesn't help the situation. There are some things that he could do better, but why not try to help with that? This is just kinda mean in my opinion.

Edit: I removed my -1. But I'm not gonna +1 either. I just kinda wanted to give my opinion on this.

I personally feel as if Chambers does more work than anyone on this server, if anything. Perhaps a talk? But I don't believe a removal is necessary, and the billiam comments are a bit far-fetched. Remember any flame will be deleted.

Actually, I'm kinda a bipolar spastic over here. I change my mind. After taking a moment to look at the extra given evidence, this seems like a repeated issue. Someone like that shouldn't be in a position of power.

To be fair everytime I got any argument with Chambers we was really close to any opinion that wasnt his opinion. Might just be me, but I always felt like Chambers is pretty toxic and closed to any idea and also close to the idea that people can change/improve. And proved this to me many times.

I agree with this. I know chambers does a ton for this community and server that you all dont know about,  BUT Sometimes we over step. THIS is a huge mistake on both parties. Honestly Without Chambers I dont believe the server could have gotten as far as it has come.

TLDR. -1. I think we all need a break.

The thing is, that he's been in this position for an estimated 5 months. If he is one of the directors that does most of the work then he should know his etiquette as a director. A talking to comes and goes and doesn't leave a message to the director. I think this is fully appropiate.

+1, that image from Bbstine severely reduces my trust in Chambers, I don't feel like he has our interests in heart and he makes the decisions for us with out us letting us have a proper discussion (This is not about ARQ but another instance involving Ranks to leave base and so on).

Chambers represents the server and this is not how someone who represents should act even behind closed doors.   Telling the community to go fuck itself and acting you know better than the community? Yeah no.  That turns people off from a RP server.   

This is coming from experience from a person who was a co-owner of one of the top 5 servers back when The Specialists RP community was a thing.   I don't know exactly what happened to IceFuse and heard bits of pieces, but I love this server and do not want to see the server going into that direction.

I don't know about removal maybe a hiatus? Maybe this is just stress creeping in resulting in things like BB's post? Community management can be frustrating so I agree with @Joah a talk or an executive break.

                         I believe this report is extremely valid through the points made by both Spooky and Bbstine with their evidence regarding the topic at hand.  This is not how someone in a high leadership position should be acting when leading a community of people.  I would not want someone with an autocratic mindset like this as a manager or supervisor.  I don't believe a removal is necessary if Chambers is willing to change his point of view on the community.  Of course this should be some sort of strike and if this issue is to persist then removal action should be taken.  However, I certainly would not want to be staff under the power of this person nor would I be inclined to ever want to join staff under this director.

I believe he does have the community in mind, I got to this point once before on Icefuse where I became toxic, perhaps a break?

Okay, Jackson and I have come to a decision.

We will speak to Chambers directly and put him on a break for now, Until his break ends, Square will take over CW-Director until his return. This post is accepted and locked

To put this into perspective for everyone, chambers is not a bad guy, he has done many great things and many of you have had good interactions with him before. We have figured out that chambers has been under a LOT of stress recently with both Finals for his university and running this server. Because of all of this (And running the community for as long as he has) Chambers has been lashing out at people for small things. Its not that he hates the community but more that everything is starting to get to him. So instead of removing him like some of you think we should do, we will be giving chambers a second chance like we gave to many other community members, like the community member who made this post. 

So in short, Chambers is human like the rest of us, once Chambers has destressed from everything, is finished with his finals and is ready to come back he will work as Director once again.
