  1. 8/10 That had a lot of real fun elements, your events improve every time I participate in them, man! You've grown a lot in terms of organization and planning
  2. +1 Hamm is all over everywhere bro
  3. Name: Mavelle Who helped (If applicable): Bob of Tunde Event Name: Breaking, Crumbling, Out of Breath Link to Event Document (optional): A small detachment of republic forces were sent to a moon off of the orbit of Mustafar in order to survey a previously CIS listening/research outpost. There... There were some complications.
  4. +1. If the issue for people is that some of them are mingy, why not make a rule? It's a rule not to sit on other people because it's mingy, and people don't do it. I think it's more than safe to say Rules, in almost every circumstance, prevent people from doing bad stuff. And if they don't, punish them. I really don't understand why not.
  5. +1 This could be super useful! Please add, lads
  6. Name: Mavelle RP Rank: WO Suggestion: I suggest that we add 2 new maps for deployments. These two new maps are entitled "rp_darkscape" and "gm_marsh" respectively. Both of these maps are medium/large sized, so they should not have much impact on the server, and have very little in the way of modern breaks in immersion. As a GM, I can think of at least 4 deployment ideas for each map, and I'm sure many others could do the same. Implementation: These maps would be added to the event server, and would be able to be changed to using the !changemap command. Lore: Both of these maps could be used for a wide variety of planets/missions! rp_darkscape features a slightly urban, yet natural landscape, usable for any number of urban as well as wilderness adventures, and gm_marsh can be used for any swamp planet, even for horror deployments! There is a significant lack of swamp-ness in the current available maps, haha. There are about 4 modern cars, but judging by the fact that we have Valley and Oldworld, it should not be much of an issue at all. Neither of these maps acquire additional textures or files. 7. As a guy currently taking research, I'm not sure that's one of the requirements, only a replicable method but You could develop a specific series of analysis points to go through in each scene (or whatever) Example: Timing of expressions, amount of smiles, etc.
  8. 7/10 There was a lot of effort but the general grip on the event, I don't know, I think it seemed as though you didn't enjoy it very much. That's big as a GM, always make sure that you're only running events that you'll have fun with.
  9. Understandable! I'll definitely look into that AT-OT. You make some good points! Perhaps I'll have to alter the suggestion if I find one, or just scrap this ol' boy. Alright, So, I've found a vehicle that most likely would suit the same purpose but has no specific star-wars era. Do you reckon I could just alter this suggestion, or maybe just delete the post?
  10. +1 Doom seems to be doing pretty well, at least from the outside if that's you, let's keep it goin'!
  11. Thank you for the feedback! However, I argued that the design is so simple and easy to come up with that it is very feasible that the republic could have used vehicles very similar to these. Their pillbox design shape is very common for transport vehicles inside bases. The general shape of vehicles such as this can be found on republic vehicles such as Pummels, HAVw Juggernauts (Models 5 or 6), or shuttles like the one Valorum used. Again, the issue of coloring can be brought up- and the distinctive grey coloring of the vehicle is not its only option: There is a "skin" under the context menu which is a paintjob for the Transport with sports a fancy red and blue striped finish, much more suited to the Republic.
  12. Name: Mavelle RP Rank: Warrant Officer in 212th Suggestion: I suggest we add this LFS vehicle, the K79-S80 vehicle. It effects the netgraph minimally and is not too complex of the vehicle. However, its uses are wide, and could function as a very interesting vehicle for patrols, be it for recon battalions or others. The vehicle is aesthetically fitting with the rest of our vehicles, (I.E. The loader, skiff, BARC, etc.). Furthermore, it is an LFS vehicle, fitting in with our current vehicle system. Implementation: The vehicle would be easy to implement; it would require no additional rules regarding its use, however there is another vehicle included in the workshop page, the AT-Hauler. It is important to mention I do not suggest we allow the AT-hauler, as its position in lore is much less believable. An easy way to circumvent this issue would be to either simply disallow the spawning of the Hauler (Like the AT-RT right now), or even not whitelisting it, keeping it from being spawned by anybody. I do not believe a certification should be needed for such a vehicle, for the same reason that Loaders don't require a certification. Its controls are not complex nor dangerous for new drivers. For the purpose of aENG vehicle repair, if there are components needed, it would function almost exactly like a Loader, but with the addition of standard ion-cannons and door mechanisms. Lore: This vehicle functioned as a recon troop transport. It has an incredibly simple, pillbox design. It hovers off of the ground like most other vehicles in Star Wars, and legitimately exists in the Star Wars universe. Therefore, immersion would not be broken by this very simple, yet effective vehicle. If people have a problem with its gray color, they could very easily color or material the vehicle to suit their needs. In short, even if the era is about 2 years off, the design is incredibly simple and thus it is entirely feasible that the design was not unique to the early empire. Workshop content if applicable: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2271970848 (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development") P.S. I highly recommend any Founders looking into this suggestion download this addon and try the vehicle in singleplayer to get a hold on what I mean by all of the statements above. I think this vehicle could provide a bit more immersion for patrols and events such as those, and promote roleplaying even after that.
  13. it was funny when someone was like "bonteri? That means terrorism!!!" When bonteri is literally a representative in the galactic senate lmao
  14. 8/10 Late night events can be hard to care about while running them, but you did well, had good organisation, and your spawning made a lot of sense. Thanks, mate!
  15. Side thing, please do more horror, your horror is fun
  16. 9/10 I really liked the innovation, willingness to try new shit, and the execution was really good
  17. 7/10 I feel like deployments this huge are very hard to keep everyone entertained in, there are many moments when only a few people know what's happening. I would do this with maybe 1 battalion with the numbers we all had, lmao
  18. Name: Mavelle Who helped (If applicable): Lively, Shockpoint, Atlex, Stix, Casanova Event Name: Got it, Boss! Description: Parjai was deployed with Ghost Company to investigate into Blacksun's connections to Maul. It did not go well for them.
  19. 7/10 Twas well executed and planned, It seems like you had fun doing it, which makes it way better
  20. o7 laddie, your events were always fun
