  1. 7/10 It was short but I had a good time running around with the others. With that being said, I'd still prefer to deploy on Bardan for something Star Wars related. I've never played Mass Effect so I was a bit confused.

    Rule updates Yay

Oh boy, it's another semi-serious / serious RP debate... I'll +1 this, as most people I see on the server already speak OOC pretty much anywhere when nothing is going on and that seems to be what they enjoy- and the railing thing is pretty dumb. Even if it makes sense, it really doesn't matter. The server is always going to be more fun to more people if it's more laid back, and if you want to do serious roleplay with your buddies- you're more than welcome to.
  3. You're a good guy with drive, passion, and ideas. I know you'll give this role your all, so... +1
  4. 9/10 I had mixed feelings about some of the encounters, but this wrap-up was amazing. It felt really immersive and I loved all of the RP interactions I got to have with your event jobs or just troopers. Plus, lots of consular-esque roleplay! WOOHOO! Good job.
  5. Many great points have been made already, and while I don't want my response to simply be an up-arrow of other's, Bbstine & Marvel have said much of what I would've regarding your character and some of the reasons you definitely should not have put this application up. With that being said, I have quite a few issues with the application itself. You make the point that Deku & Robb have done fantastic work within the Senate, and you assert that you feel it is your duty and responsibility to step up and take command as the longest standing Senator- but neither of those individuals have offered you their support, and one of them in fact plans to run against you. You have suggested the basic "improve relationship with the server and RP more" but you have not laid out any particular concrete plans to do so, instead falling back on the status-quo of diplomatic missions and an experimental Senate Outreach idea that is as ridiculous as it sounds. When it comes to your plan to implement strict roleplay policies that mandate roleplaying as each character- well, given how un-fun it is to roleplay with your iteration of Gume Saam, I'm not sure I'd like to see you usher in a perpetual standard for that kind of roleplay. Unfortunately, there's just nothing about this that I can even begin to support. -1
  6. I haven't heard or seen much of actual roleplay from the existing CIS jobs. Not only does this not make any sense whatsoever, but I don't believe it will actually add anything. -1
  7. I've been Bardan for three months now and I can wholeheartedly say that there is nobody else I'd want to call Kal'buir. You've been doing a fantastic job and I look forward to another three months. +1
  8. o7, I hope I've been an alright successor as Bardan- you certainly left big shoes to fill.
  9. Name: Foxey Who helped (If applicable): Bro & Matt Encounter Name: Bro's Mustafar Mission Description: Bro asked me to help him setup an encounter, so I built a factory on Mustafar and Bro dispatched some Republic & BH forces to handle the factory.
  10. Omega squad is very cool, and your last run as Niner was a great one. You're a good friend of mine Neptune, and I'm in the same camp as Ratio & Marvel. If you want to do this, do it! If you're just doing it out of necessity, well, I hope you can find the will to do it soon. +1
  11. You're a cool guy, I originally felt comfortable going for Bardan because I knew you were Zey and I respected you. With you as Yoda, I'll definitely continue to main my Jedi. I believe your goals are respectable and I wish you the best of luck. +1

    RDM

I've witnessed my fair share of "RDMs" as an officer, BCMD, or HA that I haven't issued an AOS for. I've also witnessed my fair share of other rule breaking that I haven't issued an AOS for. I agree with Marvel, people just need to be less AOS happy and more willing to investigate a situation and talk shit out. I'd say easily 90% of the time someone makes an honest mistake when they violate a rule (accidental click, wasn't aware of the change, etc). -1
  13. I don't really think having 1-3 battalion-less positions that attempt to make the server more welcoming for CTs is necessary or would accomplish much of anything. As Baron points out, there is a problem with how CTs are treated- regardless of their level of maturity, discipline, and experience. Even just a few months ago I don't think I would've given a CT the time of day, but Baron opened my eyes and since then I've made an effort to approach them more and be more approachable myself (and I've had some delightful interactions). I think the best thing we can do for CTs on the server is have everyone open their eyes a little to how they treat CTs and newer players. -1
  14. 8/10 Overall I enjoyed what interactions I had, though I didn't have much exposure to RP- I really enjoyed the darkness throughout the entire event and I enjoyed the waves of attacks, they felt quite natural and realistic. Looking forward to more.
  15. Heaven forbid people only play on Synergy for two years :( I really liked Jania, it had really good vibes and even though we weren't there for long because it had some optimization problems if we could ever go back there I'd be a very happy man. Venators are cool, Endor has some good memories, Titan base sucked ass.
  16. Name: Foxey Who helped (If applicable): Matt, Brace, Spaghetti, Robb Event Name: I Don't Know That Guy Description of Event: Four Senate Commandos came to base under the pretense of securing the base prior to the arrival of a Senator. When one of the Commandos was caught attempting to kill a clone trooper, all four were detained and were later all interrogated while the three who weren't being interrogated had some fun banter going on in their cell. At the end of the day, it ended up being longer than intended and more geared towards passive RP- but, I do hope CG enjoyed.
  17. You have a lot of drive, and you're active, but I'm not sure about you. I've seen a lot of questionable things from you on your Senator as well as from other Senators in general- just being completely moronic at best and often times just blatantly going against what their characters would actually do. Before I +1 or -1, I'd like to know- what is your vision for the Senate? Are they meant to be there to play their character? Are they meant to just promote RP by being whatever character they want? An actual answer to this question instead of "Yes I do" would be nice as well.
  18. Looking at those pictures... I.. uh... +1

    The pray is loose

Wasn't there for most of it but I'll give it a solid 7/10, the RP in IR was fun to be a part of.
  20. Name: Foxey Staff Rank: Senior Administrator SteamID: STEAM_0:0:101435744 Length of LOA (Please specify date if possible): 12/18/20 - 12/21/20 Reason: Probably should've filed it earlier in the week, but it's the whole "oh I'll be able to find time tomorrow, then the next day, etc" situation. I'm swamped with a lot of End-Of-Semester work and I want to get it out of the way before my Christmas break really starts. Do you understand that if you go LOA on a named Jedi Character for more than two weeks, go on LOA on any RC character, or go LOA while being clone commander, you will be removed from that position: Yes Do you understand that if you are going on LOA for more than two weeks you may lose your leadership position?: Yes
  21. What Eclipse said works. I've used getting into and then out of a gunship to fix this glitch several times. So, that's a temporary way around it at least.
  22. Would have appreciated a description of the event for a little recap on the AAR since there's no doc... Overall, the one thing I really liked was the building of tension. There was a lot of silent stares, event jobs positioning themselves in places that made me want to be the first to draw my weapon, that was done pretty well. Unfortunately I wasn't particularly fond of much else. Event jobs brought another event job into IR and then conducted IR while SO BDE watched. And it was pretty much just myself, Zey, and Scorch watching. Nobody else got to even watch 90% of the event go down. And at the end, when the Commandos did turn, it wasn't a grueling battle and an exchange of losses on both sides- it was being mauled down by 4-5 event jobs with ~5k hp and shotguns. Overall, a little disappointing. And then it was a chase outside the base that ultimately just resulted in death. By the end of it there could've been good RP, but that was cast aside because most of the server was already bored and wanted it to be over- so the job was simply killed in an execution the Admiral half agreed to, but didn't actually order. Ultimately, making events fun for event jobs is obviously something to consider- but the players matter too. This event heavily missed the mark on giving most of the server something to do. My gut tells me to give it a 5, but given the description on the chart I'm going to rate it a 4. There were simply too many issues with the overall premise of the event.
