    Wreckers Fist

+1 Makes sense. Crosshair already has his gun, so we've just gotta get Hunter his knife back and then Bad Batch will be in a good place.

    Mediaplayer Use Rule

I was under the impression that the media player was there for downtime and not so the server can turn into a weird version of let's sit and watch things together. While I'm conflicted on whether a hard rule is required because I dislike the idea of forcing players to participate in events, I don't think that during primetime or while things are going on there should be people just sitting in OOC lounge watching TV and not participating in the things going on on the server. Yeah, we're all here to have fun and relax and hangout with our friends, and yeah, the Game Master team carries a lot of the burden for making events more enjoyable and less >shoot things 24/7 and nothing else, but people play on the Clone Wars RP server presumably to expose themselves to some Clone Wars Roleplay. So I guess a hesitant +1? Definitely something that should be looked into and clarified by High Staff but I don't want it to turn into "you must play in these events or else". I miss the Endor days when an event would start and you'd have the entire server in that tiny hangar peeking through the rayshield and killing droids, going down and being revived by the medics running back and forth across the line with their defibs. We should scale the base on Anaxes down substantially to accompany the old packed playstyle that so many of us remember and enjoyed. Events would be less empty :(
  3. Name: Foxey Staff Rank: Senior Administrator, Game Master Manager SteamID: STEAM_0:0:101435744 Length of LOA/ROA (Please specify date if possible): 2 Weeks, 04/24/2021 - 05/08/2021 Reason: I have AP exams coming up as well as I just got assigned all of my end-of-the-semester projects, so I'm going to be spending the next 2 weeks studying or just playing Garry's Mod to relax. Do you understand that if you go LOA/ROA on a named Jedi Character for more than two weeks, go on LOA/ROA on any RC character, or go LOA/ROA while being clone commander, you will be removed from that position: Yeah Do you understand that if you are going on LOA/ROA for more than two weeks you may lose your leadership position?: Yeah
  4. Oh boy, did I take a wonderful trip down memory lane while getting everything together for this post. (P.S. thank you, super cool idea for a post, I'm so glad to have rediscovered my love for some of these soundtracks). Anywho, my list is as follows: I used to play this game all the time growing up and hearing the music just take me back to staying in while it was raining outside and pouring my entire afternoon into this amazing game. I love the entire soundtrack, but the Overworld Theme (4:05 on the Video) is beautifully perfect. Another classic thing I used to play as a kid, it was one of the other SNES things we had downloaded on our computer. I don't remember much about playing this game, but I remember having a blast and enjoying the music. The main theme is awesome (00:08 on the Video). Super Mario Galaxy was a game that I loved growing up, partially because of the music. I mean I'd leave this game running and just let it play. Absolutely fantastic. Into the Galaxy (10:33 on the Video) is my favorite by far, but everything in here is pretty cool. Wii was awesome, it was a game that you'd play with friends, family, I mean I don't know anyone who hasn't played Wii Sports. The Title Screen Theme (00:05 on the Video) might not be the best thing out there, but it's certainly a classic. Wii Shop Theme is a close second to this for me, but I won't list it here. Stronghold is one of the lesser known games, but Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, and Stronghold Legends were my first introduction to Strategy Games, which I absolutely love. I highly recommend the Crusader and Legends soundtracks as well, but I think everything from the original game's soundtrack is a banger. Matt's Jig (21:52 on the Video) is pretty epic. I'd be surprised if anyone disagreed with this... Vode An is simply amazing. That's all that needs to be said. Red Alert is popular partially for its Soundtrack all by itself, and it's no surprise. This soundtrack is awesome. I mean, Hell March (00:00 on the Video) is amazing. I don't remember much about this, mostly because I played Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars the most as opposed to the Red Alert games, but this soundtrack stands out to me as awesome. Need I say more? Medal of Honor holds a very special place in my heart, alongside the original Call of Duty games. They were games my Grandfather played when I was younger, and they were games that I picked up fairly quickly. Medal of Honor was unique, they were amazing games with stories and mechanics that revolutionized the shooter industry. E.A. totally ruined this franchise and it's heartbreaking that these games are dead now, but their soundtracks still stand out to me as simply beautiful. These songs just ignite my passion for history in a way that not much other music can. For the original game, I love the main theme (00:00 on the Video) and for Pacific Assault I love the Classic Theme (2:15 on the Video). Much like Super Mario Galaxy, I'd just leave these games running and listen to the music.

    RC-SHOTGUN

I mean, at that community meeting the founders talked about the changes they planned to make to the weapons. Going through and balancing all of them. I'd bet all my money that the RC Shotgun gets some changes.
  6. I didn't know you as well as others, but we did a bit of minecraft when I first joined SOBDE and that was cool. It's a shame you weren't Tech for long, but hey, at three times as many hours as me- I really don't blame you for leaving. o7, good luck on your next adventure.
  7. SOBDE is the only thing on the server that has an activity quota that doesn't bother me. With Senate, it does feel like a job. With SOBDE, it's just logging hours most of us are on for anyways. With certain positions you just need to ensure that people are being active enough, which has its drawbacks, but eh- I think it's the best thing we can do right now.
  8. Cyan, you've poured a lot of time and energy into talking to all of the members of SOBDE (both before and after our meeting with the founders) attempting to work with the entire regiment in order to draft the best plan for our future. I wholeheartedly support your application for this position. You care. You're reasonable. And frankly, you're someone we can unite behind. I wish you the best of luck my friend. +1
  9. o7 Neptune, I understand. But I'm sad. We'll play minecraft sometime.
  10. o7 Panda, you were truly a delight to have around and I'm sad to see you go. Miss having ya as my twin, but you nailed those boss soundboards. Enjoy your time away from the community! :)
  11. Has anyone ever not supported one of these? Honestly, I'd love to be the first. I love you Brace, you're doing a fantastic job, and you're going to make history. But I want to make history too. -1 Let me know where you're going to be a lifeguard so I can "drown" and you'll have to kiss me- uh, I mean ,save me.

    New Swep

-1 Honestly I agree with Fyi. That one emote suggestion got a bunch of -1s because people felt most of them had no place in RP, but something like this gets +1s? I don't get it. I'd rather see more rp-enhancing sweps added to the server as opposed to something that would just be a meme.
  13. +1 I didn't know this existed when I made my suggestion, but this is pretty cool.
  14. For as much as I wish you hadn't left, I understand your reasons. You've been a great friend, and I will miss you.
  15. 8/10 This was very good, very fun. Your event jobs were the only real issue and I was particularly impressed with how much you were able to pull off given how little time Cyan said you had to prepare. This was very cool, I had a lot of fun. o7 Panda, you did good.
  16. Despite the amount of feedback levied against the CIS in its early days, as well as when they were actively going around asking for it, the faction has completely failed to adjust its practices accordingly. I looked back at what I wrote for the feedback form; I criticized the spawning, the behavior of individuals on the faction jobs, the overall planning & layout of the operations themselves, the structure of the CIS, and the rather inadequate responses to the many complaints by its leadership. The only real thing that I think got better was that the CIS shut down for awhile and then stopped hosting ops so frequently. Operations remain, at the end of the day, flawed.. I like your plans. However, before I provide my vote I'd like to ask- what has stopped you, as Grievous, from pushing the changes you've outlined in your application forwards previously?
  17. You want to make the door to the medbay a door that can be toggled open (like the final door into SHB, or CSR, or CIT) so that people can walk by and see medics inside waiting to do MedRP? I mean, I guess I don't see too much of an issue with this especially since we have more map edits on the way, but you might want to ensure that you follow the server suggestion format.
  18. Feel like I've seen this before... but this time hopefully you get out there and enjoy life and don't come back. No offense, but it's better for ya. See ya around, Carvis.
  19. +1 I'll buy a VR and then probably regret it
  20. I will take some downtime during classes tomorrow to put some ideas together and send them your way.
  21. I mean I outlined a lot of my feedback when I submitted the form, both when it was first pushed out under Forseen / Maverick and again when it was pushed out by Stormzy. Aside from what I said there, I agree wholeheartedly with what has been said by Ratio and others in this post. I think the simplest way to voice my opinion about the Jedi Order is that I have held the position of Bardan Skirata for just over 5 months now. I have never entertained the idea of leaving Bardan to pursue any other position in the Jedi Order. I have never wanted to progress to Master, I have never wanted to leave Bardan and continue to play on my Jedi. When I leave Bardan, I have every intention to simply start maining my clone again. Being an active, engaged Jedi right now is based almost entirely on what battalion you associate with and whether or not you enjoy spending time with that battalion. There is no Jedi Order, there are just Battalion Jedi. Given that the Merit system fails to such an extreme degree at rewarding Battalion Jedi, it's no surprise that hardly anyone but trial-spammers actually get promoted. I progressed from Knight III to Knight V solely because I was a sage manager hosting dozens of rounds of sage trials per week in an attempt to fill the sage branch back in the Fall. And once I filled sage, I had no drive to host anything ever again. And I still don't ever want to host a trial again. I'll end this before it gets too rambly... but yeah. The Jedi Order just lacks any real identity as itself.
