The movie 100%. Classic, timeless, artisanal, refreshing. An instant cultural hit that will no doubt be remembered throughout the years for it's daring cinematic risks and breakthroughs. The Platoon of our day and age if you will. I cannot say anything of ill will about the movie as I simply believe it to be flawless. It has something to offer for everybody. The show however, attempted to ride the wave of success and glory that the movie had spurred. Though as a critic, I cannot help but believe that it fell short of what was promised to be an equally, if not better rendition of the movie told in a series. It did what we dearly hoped it wouldn't, with it cultivating a shallow feeling in the viewers mind throughout the show. As the audience is left to continuously hope that the next episode will begin to lead the series in a direction in which it matures *wink* into something great enough to fill the shoes of the movie. Baldwins back can only hold so much weight.

My biggest achievement was when I officially became a Polyglot in spring of last year, as I proved that I now can hold a native level conversation in English, French, Korean, and Portuguese. (Yes I know, it's quite a wacky assortment of languages. And no, I can't switch between them seamlessly.) As for something to achieve in the future there are a couple things that come to mind. I'd like to leave the U.S and live somewhere else to do my own thing. Life where I am is a tad suffocating and bland so might as well say fuck it and try somewhere else. Also mating with a Female KPOP star doesn't sound half bad lmao, but that's a side quest tbh. Lastly learning to beatbox and throat sing from someone, @Fizzikis kinda butt fingers at teaching me, though he sounds rad when he does it.

For the record I really hate to admit this, but a shit ass Garry's mod game mode, and people I've met both here and on Icefuse have played a fairly sizeable role in my personal development in the past 5 years. For better or for worse I have yet to find out. Though at least I can distinguish retarded behavior from normal and cringe looking back at myself, so honestly I'd call it a win. Though on a more thankful note, I do appreciate my time spent here to some extent, as back in 2016 --> the start of '18 I was just a dumb weirdo who really liked Star Wars and behaved more like an ape in game than an actual human being. I matured A LOT in the past 2 years and I honestly think that without reflecting on how autistic I was back in 2017-18 I would likely still be the idiot I was back then. If I had kept the same mentality, I'd guess I would only be slightly more mature as opposed to how I am now. A mf fr went from down bad to up good. And just to clarify, I've always been academically successful, I was just socially stupid lmao. The Smeck of old was just an inner monkey taking the wheel during computer time, and that behavior would, on limited occasions, spill out into the real world. Lastly, just to put it into a clearer perspective, some of you guys saw a Freshman finishing his first year of Highschool grow into a 2nd year college Physics major. It's actually been that long.
