As we are all gamers here, a very important thing is the discussion of IPs, especially when buying a console or such the intellectual properties they offer really do sway what you are gonna buy. Like xbox you know theyre main intellectual properties are gears of war and halo, while playstation has more scenic and movie like Intellectual properties like uncharted etc. But honestly the kings of IPs are nintendo they have such good series like mario, pokemon, bayonetta, metroid, zelda, and so many more. Now I'm going to list my favorite IPs that I have bought media or any other form of digestible content. 1. Super Mario- pretty based mushroom addict, I got the 25th anniversary edition DS years ago. Me and my mom would play mario Galaxy together all the time growing up and since she passed I hold that game as a very fond and distinct part of my childhood. 2. Pokemon- Japanese Michael Vick simulator, pretty special part of my childhood. Got myself the X and Y 3ds xl when I was a wee lad. I also got so involved in the card game that I made it to 4th in an ARG state championship. 3. Zelda- honestly probably some of the greatest story telling out of any series with a voiceless character. I think breath of the wild and twilight princess are honestly the best. I bought some Manga of Zelda when I was younger and I used to have shirts and stuff, it was nice. 4. Halo and Gears of War-

Also I could say the culture shift from a few years ago where the server was admittedly more toxic it lead to more undesirable people getting put in there place when they thought they were the main characters. But this also went to the other side where people that had a lot of friends could treat themselves as the main characters and no one would bat an eye. As well there was more I could say loyalty to friends and battalions on the server and it basically turned into RP gang wars at time and/or feuds and competition in things like rp or pop. This also lead to different standards in battalions and set the groundwork for what they are today, but as years go by visages of those that built the battalions get twisted into basically parodies of themselves, notably DU, SOBDE, 21st, and Rancor, they became parodies of themselves. As well as with the server becoming more political in a sense where this server is its own game of thrones. TLDR: @Guacthing a became hypercontextualized and things began to twist into a parody of themselves, by the onset of people becoming 3mphatic about their battalions and the people that built the server leaving, with newer people exaggerating things of the past and bringing a very single minded individualized mindset. Very distant from what the community was originally envisioned as. Also the constant game of thrones eac lack of loyalty and willing to sell people out to get brownie points with high staff or to get positions. This all led to main character syndrome and kind of a deterioration of the original vision.
