Ever since the first day I joined 501st, it has felt like a home to me. Through all the outstanding individuals I have been under, like Marvel, Atlex, Abraham, Drage, Rio, and so many others, They believed in me and helped me improve myself. I went through HVY and stayed there through my time in a regiment. I would be made an HVYO under Rio, who was a mentor to me during my beginning in 501st. I also explored HVO as most people did, and it was suitable for a time, but my calling was HVY. I would become Hardcase and go back to being an HVYO; after Rio left, I became the HVYL and helped make it prosper. During this time, I was an Intel Officer already making an impact by helping to manage the Roster to the Forms. I would be made Intel Director in time. One of my most significant accomplishments is the 501st Bot which automates the process on the discord to add people to the tags needed so it would interact with Jova’s excellent bot to promote/demote, add LOA’s/ROA’s and so many more helpful uses without the need for manually doing so. 

Why should you become a Battalion Commander?

To be honest, I have thought about this question a lot. I have dedicated so much to this battalion by helping with Intel to help Regiments to help Individuals better themselves but not take away their unique personalities. Since day one, I have always looked out for the people around me to make sure they are making themselves better and becoming good friends with many people around me. I always do what is best for the battalion, and when the time came, I was here to help. I want to see the 501st prosper and become what it always should be, a family of brothers fighting to keep each other together. In the end, that’s what I want for everyone, to know this is a place where you can build trust, build friendships, have fun and prosper.

Do you understand the lore of your battalion?: Yes, I understand the lore of the 501st and its subunits.

Availability: I am available almost every day around 4 PM EST to 12 PM EST, Discord I am always available but I may not answer right away to every reply.

Where do you want your battalion to be at the end of your term?

501st: I will be removing the merit system as a requirement for promotions but leaving it as a choice for those who do like having merits. I will be implementing a new system that focuses on how the person is doing more than how long he has been a rank or how many merits he has done. It will show the best that can come out of people, the helping hand that support and medics do so amazingly. But also for the Heavies, HVOs, and ARFs that help protect from both the front and back lines of the battlefield. Lastly, it will show off the fantastic Leadership skills taught to the ARCs. This system will help improve to show every strength and weakness someone may have, But it will help to know what Officers can do to help people and make them more potent as an individual.

Senior Officers: With the Senior Officers, I wish to talk to each of them individually and get their opinions on how the battalion is doing and find the flaws that the battalion has in their eyes. I want to see what they wish to improve and see what they like to keep continuing in the battalion. 

Junior Officers: Junior Officers I want them to use their strengths to help SNCOs and NCOs to improve themselves; for example, if a Junior Officer is great at Leadership skills, but a couple SNCOs and NCOs are not, they can help them and improve both themself but also the SNCOs and NCOs.

Warrant Officer: I want to work on how our Warrant Officers learn; what I mean by this is to have both Junior Officers and Senior Officers teach them what they think of as good teachings and techniques to use as Officers. Doing this gives them a broad view of what they want to use or not use as an Officer. It also gives experience to the Officers on how to teach new Warrant Officers or new Junior Officers and maybe even learn new ways to improve themselves.

SNCO: When they get to this point, This is when the true individuals who have the dedication to improve themselves but also know they are being watched to become the following Officers. This is where the future leaders are truly born. Most of them will shine brightly as they have already got past the most significant hurdle, themself.

NCO: NCOs are still low with experience most of the time, but the individuals have their own strengths. I want them to find what they believe their flaws are and find their strengths. As they find these, it will help them to know what can help better themselves as an individual because, in the end, that’s the best thing you can take out of all of this. 

Jedi: I would work closely with our brilliant Jedi Lead Phaser/Ahsoka Tano and our amazing Anakin Skywalker/shroud to help improve Jedi in any way they need and have more communication between them 501st and 501st Jedi as, at the moment, we have been failing on. We will work on informing 501st Jedi on how they can join subunits. Currently it is unclear how to join them, It is inconsistent with hosting Subunit tryouts.

332nd Company: For the 332nd Company I want to see them working together better and not fighting with each other. I will make sure that 332nd is run by a great team and make sure it does not fall apart but improve the tryout for a more ease of use and reduce the setup time. It would be more beneficial for the activity and image of 332nd both outside and inside of the battalion for them to focus on their requirements of TECH and EOD trainings, as well as giving them a more specialized role within the battalion instead of being just another skin on the models and a new name.

Torrent Company: For the Torrent Company I want to make sure it gets full, but not just that full, with the right people for each spot. I will make sure to have an active Torrent Company and talk with each of the current members about their spot and if they feel they are in the right spot or need a change. Also, I will ask them how they feel about other members of Torrent Company. 

Regiments: I want to see the regiments working together and communicating more with each other. I want to see the regiments helping improve each other instead of fighting for every person. I will go through a check with everyone to see what regiment is their favorite and make sure they have the best chance to either be in that regiment and have them tell me if they are in that regiment and a way to improve it.

Intel: Intel is in a great spot within the battalion. The Intel System is almost entirely automated, and only a couple of missing parts are to be fully finished. By the end of my term, the goal is to be fully automated, giving no need to have so many Intel Members, Making it easier for people who do not wish to be distracted by Intel work.

+1 great app and good ideas for the future of regiments, subunit's and Jedi! also like the JO and NCO/SNCO cores. You also prove to be mature and you communicate with the SO's/JO's, SNCOS/NCOS, and the troopers. You have great leadership and ideas as well, and overall you have a good attitude.

If there's any choice for Rex, it should be Silly. This man has repeatedly proven himself to be dedicated to what he does and I haven't had a single problem with Silly. The fact that you created a whole bot for the battalion and have almost completely automated the roster is amazing to me, making the 501st have one of the most solid intel team and roster on the server in my opinion. I've known you since you were a Captain, and I've always enjoyed your presence on server. Not one instance of drama I can think of, plus you're one of the best members of TC in my full opinion (other than me, of course). You know the perfect balance between having fun on server and knowing when to put the foot down when it becomes just minging and harmful to the battalion's image. I know you can perform the role as Rex and as BCMD without a doubt. Gonna miss you as Hardcase if you get it, though!

nice app! I have a single question, You have the full support of 501st, but i find it hard to see/catch you in game as i've rarely seen you.

Are you coming off LOA or something? or are you currently improving your overall activity. it could very well be timezones but im usually on for 12 hours a day
(I see you on right now :P just asking overall)

This will determine my vote, as my few interactions with you have been great! i just don't see you often.

+1 I definitely wanna work with you on improving the EOD and Tech in the 332nd. While there was an issue in the past about arguments in the 332nd Company, me and my officers have been cracking down on it more in recent times to set up better communication in the 332nd.

Like what? This is the most vague description of a new system, the only possible reason I can think of is you don't have a system planned yet, and if I'm wrong please correct me.

This is the entire purpose of the WO, why isn't this already happening?

Most of this application is just "We want more communication within the battalion" so I must ask again. Why isn't this currently happening

I'm also worried about your reasoning for wanting to become BCMD, it is the most cookie cutter response to that question without anything special. You could put that response on a TC application for why you should be in TC.

Holding off on voting until questions are answered.

Checking the 501st archives there is no instance of any of his LOA/ROAs going past the end dates. Could you be thinking of someone else? I know a couple of people who may fit that bill.

The MIA issue was because Silly had a medical issue at the time that made it unable for him to get on the server at all. He contacted the current Rex at the time to have it extended, which it was, but it was never officially logged in the LOA/ROA channel.

This man has done huge things for battalion in terms of Intel, TC, and being a stable commander who can take all sides of something into account. Seeing his plans for the changes of the merit system and some changes to 332nd as well as other things which he was not in charge of a Commander fills me with great hope amid the fears some of the officers in the battalion hold for the future of the battalion. Merits have been a point of contention within the battalion, with many bright NCOs leaving or not advancing due to them disagreeing with the system, or not wanting to log things, so changing that up will be very beneficial.

As well as the changes to how Officers are handled would be beneficial in terms of openness in the battalion.

Silly put up an LOA for a month, and was gone for that time with a medical issue, he was not in discord, game, or teamspeak for this time and had a planned LOA, you must be thinking of someone else.

 +1 I cant say enough about how much silly contributes to the batallion in almost every aspect, from intel, to TC, to being a commander, and helping 332nd, Getting BCMD would greatly move the 501st in a positive directon, i dont think 501st would be as successful as it is without silly.
Also, in the month silly was gone, communication with jedi/jedi officers was at an all time low, now that silly has returned, communication has improved, but still things to work on. Having silly as a BCMD would help this a ton as he is the bridge between jedi officers and 501st officers.

I am coming back from an LOA for some health issues but, I am working to get back to my activity improved. I hope we keep having great interactions Mystic

I am sorry that I went MIA during my LOA but as I tried to keep it between me and some of the higher ranks in 501st at the time. Not a lot of people like to talk about health issues they were going through. But I do take responsibility to being absence during this time.

I want 501st to change and adept to helping the SNCOs and NCOs better themself and make sure that is always the first priority. In the end if someone is not bettering themself then they will not be having any fun or gaining anything from their time.

For Warrant Officers this was happening but not to this extent. At the moment Warrant Officers learn from the Senior Officers teachings, But I want them to learn from all of the Officer Core. So they may take in as much information and techniques they need and want to use.

As for 501st Jedi I will make sure this will be done and fix the lack of communication between 501st and its Jedi.

With 332nd's issue, it has been a problem that recently started and I will make sure is ended before can continue and build into a bigger problem.

How do you plan to keep track of what positive things people have done? How will you be able to ensure everyone gets the same amount of attention and keep officer bias from taking over and just mass promoting people they're friends with?

I am currently working and have been working on making sure each officer is informed of how important it is to help our SNCOs and NCOs. I am going through each officer to encourage and find out what each of them think of as their strengths. By doing this it will help me manage how each of my officers can help and also inform them are the best way for them to help our NCO Core.

 I will be keeping track by different means, First will be officers by use of new channels I wish to add to the discord to keep track of what each officer says about them. Secondly I will also make a 2nd channel where SNCOs and NCOs may show off what one of them did (without just advertising themself). Lastly I will be referring to other battalions about how individuals did if it is needed. Once this system is in place I will be going through each of the officers and finding out personally what they think is counted as attention worthy, by doing this I get a base of how each of them think and help them if needed to look for some of the last noticed SNCOs and NCOs but do what they need to deserve a promotion. I will be on top of officer bias and not have friend groups be causing mass promotions. I will be watching like a hawk during this beginning phase for anything that seems out of the normal for promotions but also conducing random checks on officers to see how they feel about SNCOs and NCOs to show if they have bias against someone or not.
