RadJames Posted June 23, 2020 Report Share Posted June 23, 2020 (edited) *Before we continue on from here, lets try to have a normal conversation no fighting* What happened to the server? all of the sudden we lost 50 players, Is it the server is boring, corona virus or the map? and the 50 -60 players we get a week, well half are AFK or just dont want to roleplay, Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Compare it to when you had to go to work or School and came home or from that work to chill and play gmod for a few hours. Now you have infinite time to play cause not only quarantine but Summer. When you have all the time in the world to play or do something, why not just do it later? Especially when you were going a lot for days on end. Link to comment

But the reason might be that a lot of people don't wanna RP, and a lot of the events (NOT ALL) are mediocre at best. Usually its the same recycled ideas with different characters. If people move onto new things but keep friends they made here, or hang around as a community. That's what matters. It's not all Gmod. (Plus Gmod can be alot for people, it's repetitive, and boring for people like myself have been playing multiple years). Also, I hid some posts of unneeded comments. You don't get banned for discussing views. You get banned for being a passive agressive toxic monkey or for posting stuff that is clearly malicious with "good" intentions. We've had our disagreements but this man makes a good point, I've stayed in the community for a while but just haven't even opened GMod in a month or more. People like the map, People are getting sick of playing the same game during lockdown. I know I am. Gmod is also entering the end of its life. This is the hard truth. I suspect it is just being held on by loyal members of different communities now a days. Their is nothing wrong with the server in my opinion it's literally the social economical turmoil we are in at the moment. No one is to blame and we have been having like 50 to 60 people for like months now mate, not recently. I usually join the server with like 50 people and leave with over 60.
