Hey boys, never thought this day would happen but ya know what, it did. I woke up one day and realized that the server just isnt that fun anymore, and in my eyes its failed to turn into the community it once was. The entire server just feels like a cock measuring contest between the bigger battalions with the smaller ones suffering for it. I will still be on time to time, Im down if someone wants me as a battalion advisor or some shit.

@Joah Please remove the weapons vender and wipe permaweapons, that shit makes RC and battalion classes fucking useless

Max probably did the same thing as me and goes to lie down for a few minutes because some bullshit triggered him and then he falls asleep for 4-5 hours

With that being said Venom together we will be the toxic gods; you were the best addition to RC in the last 4 months PERIOD. (ACTUALLY FUCK THAT, SINCE MEREEL'S WIPE)

This statement right here is exactly how I've felt for a few weeks now. I've been talking to a few people about it, and in my opinion -- I'm sure you'd agree -- if Icefuse was a 10/10 (hypothetically), then Synergy is a 5/10 right now. While I recognize the server is new and things are being worked on, I don't get the feeling that the owners/developers are really trying all that hard to make it better than a 5. I have been trying my best to use my weight on the staff team to change things and improve the server from that side, but there is little I can do on the development side to make things better. Hopefully, we'll see improvement. And if we don't, honestly, I do not see this server lasting.

I also feel like you're one of the few people who've grasped this issue - The server lacks serious roleplay, and I feel like a lot of people disown Icefuse because of the last few days when for most of time most people were burnt out from things being same ol rather than issues with higher staff

Icefuse is decent content-wise but I think still encourages a more serious environment than what we do now

I would agree with this 100%. We need to enforce a serious roleplay environment, and treat the server like it's a roleplay server. This will make it far more entertaining and attractive than it is in its current state. I had a long conversation with non-other than Peacock about this last night. He disagreed with me on the serious roleplay aspect because he felt it would be "boring", but I managed to persuade him in that it would undoubtedly be more fun than it is now. And furthermore, it is a roleplay server, if you find roleplay boring why are you playing here? If we enforced that environment, those that aren't going to roleplay would leave, and those looking to roleplay will stay and flock. If we start enforcing that environment, the server can become serious.

I told him that my walk from my bunks to the comms deck should look like this: I leave my bunks and job or alt-walk in the hallways (not sprint or b-hop). Through the halls, every trooper stops to salute (that is required to), and I either continue and they know to continue once I walk passed, or I put them at ease. On the third floor, there should be a CG there to sign me in, and escort me up to the comms deck. I would greet the Naval in comms and request a status report.

Simple things like that would make it so much more fun. Peacock mentioned "stations" for ST are super boring because you sit there for an hour. I told him then do rotations, or rather than stations do patrols. Or don't do either and respond to ST calls if you're needed at a position. Anything to help the roleplay.

So much to say... first of all Venom, I'll be real with you as I can be; as you always are in general. 

You were hands down my favorite fucking RC/NULL - hell, player in the community. You were one of the most active motherfuckers around, no matter when I got on or how long I stayed on, you were there. Despite this and many of your contributions, you also got A TON of unnecessary SHIT from a lot of people. Almost an anger scape goat for Nulls. But I knew better and I actually tried to defend you, get to know you more. We got to spend some time together and my only regret is that we didn't get to hangout more. Before I really met you, i heard stories about you-believe it or not. "One of the best RC/PvPers around with a toxic personality." I remember when I first really met you when you came during our 212th PT on icefuse and you took over, giving hell to all the boys. Poor souls. But from that moment I was happy you were foxtrot, the RC squad of 212th. I heard you out recently when you were on Jaing and I definitely felt like you were burnt out from everything. What you said here is exactly how I felt and I agree with you. The community wasn't like it use to be. Too much petty competition, minging, it feels like now everyone is playing for the wrong reasons. Nobody even fucking roleplays on a FUCKING roleplay server. Nobody knows lore. Nobody actually plays the game.  It's all about their own game in their own world with a buttfuck ton of petty drama. 

I still got a bit of fight in me, so I'm going to keep playing as long as I have fun and let me tell you, it's people like you and my 212th crew that keep me going. You leaving takes a hit on my motivation and drive to get on (and tolerate the RC/Nulls REEEE JK Nulls are pretty cool now like cypher and dragon). We wont find someone as beautifully toxic and venomous as you <3.

I wish the best for you and that you find more enjoyment with whatever comes. Definitely hit me up for some games on steam, idgaf if it's Imperial Roleplay Undead servers (amazing inside joke meme) or my little pony adventures, boi if you playing Im in. 

 

p.s This is my first farewell shoutout and I'm experiencing a mix of "OMG I FEEL SPECIAL" and "HOMIE NOOOO". Cucked once more with feeling.

@Venomdude, legit you were one of the greats on the server without even trying, I remember coming back down from E.L. on Icefuse and everyone was scared to fight you, and I didn't understand why until I fought you myself. Dude you're amazing. Please come back and visit from time to time!
