  1. I'd love to run some stuff with you! But I am working full time now so I can't no-life like I used to Also I don't think we have an event server any more? Edit: We do? I think? I don't know- it's kind of hard to find info easily on it
  2. Hi!!!!! I am back for a couple weeks to run a couple events and make some builds for the GMs that are GMing right now. DO PEOPLE BE ROLEPLAYING IN EVENTS? (And, I guess, in general?) I just want to know how much effort I'll want to be putting in to get people a good time. If people want to just hold left click and w, great- but I don't want to spend more than 20 minutes preparing for an event if that's the goal- so how do y'all feel? If there's space for it, I'd love to push some more RP-heavy stuff. I'm asking because I genuinely can't tell from the couple hours I've played this week! Pinging people who I know play right now @KaiserNeiner @Marvel @Bacta @WideTurtle @Maverick @Mystic @Ollie_
  3. I voted for Onderon because Corellia's visuals (especially the exterior) leave a LOT to be desired. The village under the base is incredibly lackluster and feels 100% like an afterthought. The verticality of Corellia has been pretty cool and it is cool to have a view down onto the whole map, but outside of that, there's not really anything that stands out at all about the map other than some out-of-place-looking tiny earth trees. I find that Onderon's trees, rocks, buildings, etc all being based upon actual Star Wars material makes the map feel so much more genuine. I will be honest, I do quite like some of the layout of Corellia's base- it's nice to be able to run into people, but then again, I was running into people all the time on Onderon. I think when it comes to the actual art of mapmaking, Jayarr has a style that's a bit more conducive to SWRP. Onderon just felt more... inspired.
  4. Today, we gather to acknowledge and commend an exceptional contribution to our ongoing projects within the digital terrain and virtual simulation spaces. It is with great pleasure that I highlight the innovative suggestion made by Daytona—the introduction of the "gm_flatgrass" concept. Daytona’s proposition to integrate "gm_flatgrass" has demonstrated a profound understanding of our project's needs and objectives. This concept, characterized by its expansive and unobstructed environment, offers an ideal testing ground for various simulations and virtual constructs. The simplicity and versatility of "gm_flatgrass" provide an unparalleled canvas for both novice developers and seasoned professionals to experiment, iterate, and perfect their creations without the constraints imposed by more complex maps. Moreover, the strategic value of "gm_flatgrass" cannot be overstated. In the realm of virtual development, the ability to prototype rapidly and efficiently is paramount. The flat, featureless landscape ensures minimal interference, allowing for a clear focus on the core mechanics and functionalities of any given project. This streamlined approach is essential for debugging, performance testing, and collaborative development efforts, making "gm_flatgrass" an indispensable tool in our digital arsenal. Daytona’s foresight in recommending "gm_flatgrass" aligns seamlessly with our commitment to fostering innovation, efficiency, and excellence. This suggestion not only enhances our current capabilities but also sets a new benchmark for future endeavors. It is a testament to the innovative spirit and proactive mindset that drive our collective success. In conclusion, let us extend our sincere gratitude to Daytona for this remarkable suggestion. The introduction of "gm_flatgrass" will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for future breakthroughs, enabling us to push the boundaries of what is possible within our virtual landscapes. Daytona’s contribution exemplifies the collaborative ethos and forward-thinking approach that are the hallmarks of our community.

  10. +1. You definitely could have/even should have gotten guild leader last time you tried for it, definitely deserve a chance. One of the most dedicated, if not the most dedicated BH player. You keep coming back for it and always do a great job. It's been years now. You deserve a chance.
  11. +1- Doesn't seem like a giant deal to me!
