  1. 8/10 Now, the Validity of my Claims cannot be fully verified as no Clear Transaction has been made by the Republic to my, not at all Vast Bank Account. However! I did happen to Trip into the Base right before the Attack on Fort Anaxes, and assist the Troopers that weren't being complete defects! The Initial assault wasn't that much of an Issue, the CIS Super Weapon of this week seemed to target Republic Weaponry, and the closet thing to a Republic Weapon is the Imperial Sniper I stole from Melted Rust- i mean, borrowed! Now, we had a couple of Defects that likely didn't pay attention to the intel, as shitty as it typically is, and they did learn the hard way, but other than that, they did some good work! I did however, take a lot of unnecessary fire because some Troopers refused to Rush, and there might of been a Jedi that didn't know how to FUCKING COVER ME! But, other than that, it went over smoothly! I did notice that the Shield Generator took some Heavy fire, apparently, I ended up being the only person to notice this, as when I rushed for them, that big fuck off Ship decided to launch more Smoke than a Spaceports worth, which, is interesting, although I'm not sure how the fuck they did that! As Confusing CIS Technology is to me, Republic Tech couldn't be more of the Opposite! So, I rushed over with my Trusty Bowcaster, and unloaded into some B2's with a voice Deeper than the Versock Clan combined [Including that one Woman Reznov always tells to go back into the kitchen] and ended up getting shot to shit! I quickly recovered, as any good Bounty Hunter would, and grabbed my DLT-20A, the Proper Sniper for any Real man, and started to Pop the B2's off one by one. After that finished, I shimmied my way onto the wall, and started working on a Pannel I found. Now, this is where we get to one of my Biggest Problems with the CIS, as well as this attack from a Strategic Point of view. They only sent Canon Fodder, and then left. Now, I'll never complain about getting to shoot some God damn Clankers! But, if they didn't decide to bring out the Friday Fucking Doomsday Weapon, then, I don't think this would've been any different than any other time they tried to attack. As much as I love melting Metal, which I really love to melt Metal, It never hurts to have a Variety of things to Melt. Sometimes, they send in the Edgy Fuckers, maybe even sneak some Politically Incorrect Clankers, whatever the fuck that means, hell i've even seen some Clankers that roll faster than I can Punt a Jawa! But, it felt like they just kept sending down the same droids, in the same places, every other five minutes. Other than that slightly Boring Aspect, I did love the chance to fight with the Republic! I also loved, being able to "trip" into Debrief, without any issues of course! ____ Hope you enjoyed that IC Review, figured it'd help bring back the feelings I had in the Event.
  2. question: Do we Sell our Permaweapons? Comments/Concerns: Someone said that you told them to sell Permaweapons within 3 days due to the TFA being Remade. Is this Truth or Heresy? Staff Member you're asking: @ Joah Additional info: When I asked this on your Update Map a bit ago, you said "I didn't say anything about Permaweapons", I made the Comment in the dead middle of the night, and woke up to the Response. The Response doesn't really say if Permaweapons will, or won't be affected, so, it's good to clear the Air. Appreciate the response when I get it!

    Ban Appeal

What would you do if your ban ended up getting appealed?
  4. +1 Rancor Embassy doesn't just serve well for ARC Trainings, they're done for Recruitment, Battalion Relations, Game nights, and much, much more. A Battalion that focuses heavily, on working with other Battalions, and one that has an Impact on other Battalions to the level Rancor does, deserves to have an Embassy Channel, and honestly, needs one.
  5. 7/10 Before I start this off, @Scribbles thank you, thank you for hosting the first BH Deployment. Now, onto the Constructive Criticism. ___ Map _________ On My First Server, Nar Shadda ended up being a common map for Event Rotation. We used to have a Meme for my Trooper, that they'd never brief him when he went to Nar Shadda, because he fucking hated the planet with a Passion, while my Jedi couldn't go to the city Sober. Nar Shadda by itself, isn't a bad concept for a Map, infact the concept is often what makes people want to use it for Events. With that being said, the Event would've likely gone a lot smoother on another Map, however the Map did have a certain charm to it that worked with the Event. The First Five minutes, ended up being spent trying to figure out where the hell the rest of my friends went. While it's easy to be a Negative Nelly and complain nonstop, It's by no means Constructive. Nar Shadda has the Charm and feel for a Heist, but it's far too Cramped and close. Personally, I'd suggest SW Galaxies for the next time you want to do a Heist, let the players decide who wants to work together, and, have the Winner takes all. This would add the Hunt Feel too it, keep the Heist Objective, but make it feel Star Wars. We'd have to make friends to get tips ahead of other people before things become Public Knowledge, assemble what we need, and Break into the Temple Vault for the Goods. Story _____ The Story for this one, didn't strike me as one riddled with Plot Holes and Confusing Twists and turns like some Events do. Taking the time to make sure that people Stored their Gear to get past the Initial Security point, even letting the guy who broke into Anaxes to do that. Personally, I love the Payday 2 Vibes, and I think it transitioned very well into the Event. Some parts seemed to Drag on, however typically it was due to Miscommunication and Planning. Not being able to just open fire on everything and anything, made the Event feel better overall. I liked being able to Roleplay to get Intel, and missing the Heist Portion of the Event is the only Low of the Event I personally felt. I think having Bounty Hunters in the Server, lets more Unique Deployments and Encounters be Possible, and, if the GM's Wanted to Stretch their Creative Juices, doing so with the Bounty Hunters would be a great way to go about it. The Infighting stayed in character, but, I think it would've likely worked better if we didn't have to split the Prizepool in character. Being able to get Renown from Missions like this, is something that would've worked better if you played along with it. The Tension between BH is part of what Makes BH so fun, and I'd suggest using it to your Advantage. Overall ____ I feel like it might come off strange to not rate this Higher, the reason why I didn't isn't with any Malice Intent, it's because GM's constantly ask for Constructive Criticism only to get 10/10's. I don't think rating something higher without a reason does anyone any good. This ended up being a great event, I enjoyed the Deployment, but the Deployment wasn't perfect. There we moments when Progress seemed to lull to a crawl, such as when we had to load the Crates, and when we found the Drill, and moments when Progress seemed to Jolt, such as when we Drilling into the Vault, and dealing with the Guard. I'm a big fan of your Events, and, I look forward to seeing more Deployments for Bounty Hunter that are more Unique and Diverse than Troopers can typically get.
  6. +1 From what I can understand at this current time, it's intend to help CG and BO work together. This is one of the Big issues I have with Base Ops being handled, they are constantly attacked, and the only reason why CG seems to care about BO, is because they're typically underneath the Chancellors Office. The CG on this Server, is the best i've seen on any Server, the Current Fox amazing especially in regards to staying In character and keeping that, in character. He's made it clear that the intent is not to interfere with CG, the person who gets Yularen when they can, will likely need to be in good standing with CG, or be able to make good Standing with them. Base Ops, CG wont bite, they're great to work with and they don't forget the people who do. Currently, if Base Ops lost it's Authority on Anaxes Base, the BCC would get raided by Troopers. It's not uncommon for Base Ops Shinies, to think that they can treat Troopers like Pawns, it's a Lesson that some have to learn the Hard way. Merging CG with BO, will help keep them Grounded, help improve their Security, and will hopefully help Mergers not be so Severe in the future. it's not always one Battalion going into another, and with the Addition of Strike Teams for Jedi, I think that something with Troopers, that isn't on the same level as SOBDE, wouldn't be a bad idea. What would be a Bad Idea, is having the person who gets Yuleran, be someone that can't work with CG, and tries to Regulate the hell out of CG. Part of what makes CG so good, in my Personal Opinion, is that they're Efficient, Dedicated, and not allowed to be an Absolute Prick. Getting into CG isn't like getting in a Standard Bat, staying in, is impressive. And, the High Ups in CG, Previous or Current, deserve Respect for what they've done to help that. Yuleran being a Middle Ground for CG, and Base Ops, is likely why he wont be considered as such, if not, it should be considered.
  7. Should likely rephrase a bit, but, it's not always FailRp, but shouldn't be expected to use anywhere, everywhere, all the time.People Paid for Jedi when they get VIP, but, doesnt mean you can just do whatever you want on your Jedi. But, it shouldn't be an AOSble matter imo. Maybe PT, if you do it to the wrong person. If you punch someone three times, it's Attempted Murder, but, I've had a Brawl with a fellow BH, when I got close to death, I put away my fists. It's up to Staff though.
  8. I Didnt cry stop making fun of me!! In all seriousness, I get why it's supposed to be in OOC, but I think it's one of those situations in Gmod, like sitting down. Why does everyone always stand? Because they dont get tired. Can they sit down anywhere? Technically yes, but really no. Would you sit anywhere? Well, Mav might because he's a fucking Mad Lad, but, Lancer wont because he's more of a Straight Shooter. Context is important, and that's the issue that Staff seems to be having. They dont want it to be a Situation where everyone is constantly using it nonstop in situations they wouldn't, to people they wouldn't. The Moment Nightmare got it, he flipped off the entire server base individually at least once. Jocasta flipped off the entire 501st Legion one by one during a Jedi Ceremony. Synergy is weird because it tries it's hardest to be a Serious Roleplay server but it's often not serious with Roleplay. Maybe they want to change that? Especially with Elements of the server that are more RP focused. Does it kind of suck? Yeah, but it's also Failrp at it's finest.
  9. I'm on the Fence about giving this a +1, not because I'm against the Idea itself, but because I can't see how it'd be useful besides two Areas, one of which doesn't really need it, both being rarely used in Events. Anaxes has a weird skybox, which means that we can't have a Day and Night Script work properly. Because of this, until we get the New Map, which from what I've heard personally isn't likely to happen, then, it's likely not going to be that useful on the Main Server. Maybe it would work better if they Gave it to you on the Event Server? I think it'd be a lot more likely with Joah pushing for more Events on Event Server, rather than on Main, not to mention, SOBDE is a lot more likely to get Deployments. I'd have to be Convinced on giving a +1 though, especially with the lack of useful places for it.
  10. I Get where you're coming from, maybe it'd work better as a Subsidiary of Base Ops?
  11. 7/10! From the posts before mine, it's clear that you didn't have a lot of help, although you should've had more that's not the subject at hand. The Original Plan, from my understanding, didn't go as planned at all! For a while, we had started to get the feeling that our Strike team, didn't have a chance of getting Deployed today, but you came in, and swiped us up like a God Damn GM Angel. The Event went by a little fast for me, but, I had a lot of stuff going on in the background, that didn't help. Now, let's discuss more of the Gritty Details! Map and Mission!: The Map, for what it's worth, is amazing. I'm glad that it ended up getting added to the Rotation, it's absolutely stunning! Maybe my Intel ended up being a little Bad Mission wise, but, it didn't exactly make a lot of sense. Now, I opted to hang back, and use my Nifty force Magic for most of the Mission, which ended up leading me to get lost more than I'd personally care to admit. There ended up being a lot of Confusion about what the hell we needed to do, where we needed to go, and so on. This likely would've been a lot more easier to handle if you had more assistance with Spawning and such. I will say however, that with those Issues in particular, it's a little surprising that the event ended up being as Streamlined as it was! I think the Bats that assisted, as well as the nature of the event, ended up helping in the long run. Rancor and 21st don't need a lot of Hand Holding, SOBDE does their own thing in conjuncture with the rest typically, and the Jedi's involvement turned out to be more of a Eval of our Strike team. I look forward to more events, and hopefully deployments from you, you're clearly either experienced or a God damn Natural! Personal Perspective: As stated previously, I stayed back with the Medics and Healers for the first half, so much so that I'm not sure if I even killed a single Droid. I know that the Combat ended up being light, but, I feel like it might've been better if instead of Light Infantry, it ended up being a more Eerie Deployment. With the Choice of Map, and the seemingly Random Sith that I had the Liberty of attempting to convert, Arresting, and Failing horribly at any Roll involving him, I can't help feel as if there's more left to be desired, more to the story. Now, this could be done on another Event, or maybe even a Sequel, or not at all! But, i'd like to make a Suggestion on how to Improve on this Event. Suggestion: Part of what worked well with this Map, is the Atompshere. One Look out the Window at Spawn, and you could feel it. The Venator itself, felt massive, Expansive, it lived and breathed the Republic, something most Venator maps dont. My Suggestion, is to play on the Mindset of the Acolyte, "Survive". The Pink Haired Sith, as intresting as it was, didn't make an Appearance. Instead of Random Droids that seem out of place, why not finding the Bodies of Countless Acolytes? Something that Sith don't typically show in Events, is their Calculated, and deceptive manners and methods. Maybe the Deployed Troopers and Jedi, are surprised Contestants in a Twisted Game of Sith Survival? It would push the Differences between Jedi and Trooper Methods a subject that's already a hot one. The Troopers would go from room to room, attempting to find the Host, while the Acolyte, waits silently, to take out the Final threat in his way from becoming an Apprentice of the Host. Returning to previous Rooms only causes you to find the Fallen Acolytes bodies have gone missing, adding to the Element of more being at hand than meets the eye. Upon finding the Acolyte, the Consulars rush in to attempt to Convert him before it's too late, likely to the dismay of the Troopers being told to go back. Should the Strike team manage to convert the Acolyte, they have a new Ally, one they'll need when it's time to escape. Like Ragnos before him, the Pink Haired Sith has discovered a way to fuel his Power in a Cruel and disturbing way, through the fallen of Battle. The Fallen Acolytes from before, rise again, as Mindless as the Hopefully Converted Acolyte. Should we have Converted the Acolyte, the Converted Sith tears the Fallen apart with ease, still no match for the Survivor. Converting the Sith, is stressed in this Suggestion, because it's a Vital part of the Strike team, and it'd still help Eval us on one of our Main functions. This also Switches the Latter half, with the Former half. Something like this, uses the Unfamiliar Map to the Events advantage, effectively starting off with a Sweep and clear. While the Troops might feel Ancy at first [The Only big issue people seem to have], the latter half would likely be Blood Pumping. The One life aspect only adding to the "Survive" aspect of the Deployment. The Small Numbers of the Deployment, mixed with the Strike Teams would only serve to make this Deployment feel more Dire. Every fallen Brother, puts the Mission more and more at Risk, losing the Converted Sith would be a massive blow should it happen even if not to the Sith himself. While the Ending might be a bit more difficult, I don't think we'd have any Complaints. TLDR: 7/10 Did what it needed to do, did better than it likely would've ordinary, but left more to be desired.
  12. I think its a Ripped version of the Alderan Guard from my First Server actually XD I do hope they'll be able to help BO as well. They're always getting into trouble. Also, Middle finger is by far my favorite swep! I'm not cool enough to use any of the Props, but I'm glad those that are, enjoy them! I'm not sure what you mean, but your Rep is amazing XD My First Impression to this Update, ended up being Yoda flipping everyone offer, Witnessing a Murder, witnessing a Server Crash, and getting to see the Cadet Room FILLED to the Brim. All Jokes aside, I'm liking this Update a lot. The Lag is a lot less Noticeable, Bounty Hunters are making me, and many more excited. This Update didn't just bring a lot of goodies, but it fixed some issues. Staff has more Structure, GM's seem to be a bit more on their Game, the closer eye on Structure likely helped add Strike teams to Jedi [Might just be a Happy Coincidence], which is something I'm a Big fan of! This isn't just an Update to the Server, but to Server expectations, something I'm looking forward to seeing more results of!
  13. I haven't noticed anyone bring it up, figured i'd start a thread! What's everyone's thoughts on the Upcoming update? Any hopes for what it'll bring? Personally, I'm hoping this will fix the Lag, even if just a little.
  14. Well,I'll be damned! While winning once caught me off guard, THIS, is a surprise! Thank you,to everyone who voted for me, to the lovely +1's, and of course, to the kind soul that nominated me! I've been a little busy with another server, but, I'll keep up the hard work on SR! Thank you, all of you, and, I'm still working on that Pink crystal! I'll get it one day!
  15. Great Guy, Great GM, and, a God damn Rancor. Wish you the best of luck my friend, doubt you'll need it. +1
  16. -1 While I understand that a big part of this is to help Optimize the ARC Jobs, something that does indeed need an Optimization, it takes away far more than it gives, and it causes Rancor to have a less Optimized Weapon-set than it currently does. The issue of Miniguns and Rocket Launchers being on a Recon Battalion is an Issue many have had, for a very long time. Not to mention, the Initial post doesn't bring up Rocket Troopers within Rancor, despite a change like this severely affecting Rocket Troopers. My Disagreement with the change, isn't a disagreement over the Jobs changing, but, rather what would be changing with it. I'd argue that Classes like the Rancor Medic, and your Standard ARC Trooper, as well as Battalion Equivalents work well with the Minigun. While it's not by any means Realistic, or Lore friendly, both are hard in Gmod, and removing something because Lucas said so has been an issue most have had with Star Wars for ages at this point, and it's not an issue SR should likely need to deal with as well. As strange as it is, The Mingun works well in most situations, and, ARC's are likely some of the best people to handle a Dangerous weapon. The Rocket Launcher is a lot harder to argue for, however it's often a big draw in for a lot of people. As a 212th Commander on another Server, I can tell you how much of a fan a lot of people can be over a Big Fuck off Gun as Explosive as a Rocket Launcher, even with it still needing a Buff. If it became a situation where the CY constantly had Rockets flying every time a Muni flew over Anaxes it would be different. Where it's at currently, I respect your opinions, however I don't think we should take away the Three fun shots, only a handful of Jobs get to have. I also Respect the Imitative.
  17. Would rocket troopers keep Rockets?
  18. Memes aside, I didn't wake up this morning, expecting to hear I had been Nominated for Roleplayer of the week ]let alone that I'd won it! While I do love me some good old fashioned Rp, I didn't realize I had been doing as good of a Job as I apparently have been. I'd like to thank Boss, for Nominating me! I'd also, like to thank the people who voted for me, I'd like to thank Rancor, for being the main reason why I made my Return to SR, and for helping me get as far as I have. I like to put in a lot of Hard work when it comes to my Characters, whether it be the Medical transfer Dubz, the Trooper who went from slinging Bacta into Brothers to slinging himself and his Rockets into Clankers, or my Empathetic Jedi Lens, with a Unique perspective on Life, and the Force itself. I'd like me winning this, be an example, that you don't need to be a Big Boy, to make it somewhere. My Cristism of SR, is intended to be Constructive, and Valid, but it's with hopes that SR will go as far as it deserves to. Stay Dedicated, don't be afraid to break the Ice, and, don't give up. My next goal, is to earn a Pink Crystal, and while it'll be difficult due to my duties on another Server, it wouldn't be as special if it was easy to get. Thank you, all of you.
  19. What can I tell you about the 91st? Not much, 91st was the Bat like the guy in the background of every group outing, at least in some regard, they're not really known but if you do get to know them, they're fun as hell to be around. Being Recon is a hard job, and 91st likely had it the worst due to being the most difficult to recognize out of the most difficult to recognize regiment. I can tell you a lot more about the people who were in 91st, for starters, they're dedicated. You have people like Technodad, Clorox, Oliver the God damn Reg, all came from 91st. What happened with 91st, happened, but you can't forget the good things just because of a really bad incident. I'd like to give an o7, to some members I ended up fighting alongside, at some point or another. Clorox - Your Dedication to 91st, was clear as day. The people who say you didn't do a damn thing, are just being toxic. I'm not sure if you're banned, why the hell you would be banned, but it doesn't take away from the good times, even it it ended up being a fatal bad time. Technodad- Nobody is free of problems, we all have our ups and downs. You, were a fun person to fight with, and just overall be around, kind of like Guttler, you sound like a Dad, hence the name. The Cody thing, is it's own thing, and while I get why 212th didn't like the App, having been on the other side of that a few times, it doesn't make you any less of a guy for trying, and voiding it was a pretty respectable move. Oliver - You're an Example of how far someone can go, your dedication to Recon is a happy sight for sore eyes, but you don't let it go to your head. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to talk one on one with a big kid such as yourself, especially one mindful of perspectives, You're going to go far, and I hope you bring us with you. Deviant - I remember when I first met you, you wanted to bring 91st back up and give it the life you whole heartdly deserve. You've only just joined this Winter break, and you're already known as a fucking Mad Lad, keep it up. I'm happy to have you among our Bat, but, it's sad to see given the circumstances. o7 91st, to all of you, in the list, and those who aren't.
  20. 8/10 I don't like infection Events, but i'm trying to keep my Bias out of the best I can. I hopped on towards the tail of the event, as far as I know, however this one didn't have as much chaos as I'm used to. Apparently I did well in regards to Stepping up, earned a Rec and shoutouts, thanks again. A lot of people seem to have an issue with the story, but, I feel like if you went too indepth with it, the event would've been worse off for it. Infection events are fun for the people who can hold out, but, for the people infected, and for the people handling the infected, it's often Hell, chaos, and boring. It's a Niche cup of tea, that, while isn't for me, I can understand while people who do, enjoy it. This didn't drag on, something that I appreciate it. Sidenote: Guess who didn't press submit?
  21. +1 Your work as a GH, has improved a lot, even from when I ended up being called out of reserves. Not a lot of people have the Initiative that you clearly do, nor the ability to add a creative twist within common tropes. As someone who barely passed the test to become a GM, on my first Server, just before it was Shut down, my experience with being a GM is limited, although I think it's easy to say that Gmod is often limiting in regards to Creativity. Often people are weary of adding Story to events, not wanting to make a interactive movie, or have Bats that can't be in the thick of it feel like they're not included because they're missing key parts of the story. Often it's difficult for people to find that blend of Shoot em up, and Story, opting to go for more of one, or the other, to the point it being in the AAR format, however you've already made great progress to finding that blend, and it's a Journey I look forward to witnessing first hand. Not every Event can hit the Mark, and thinking they can, is only setting yourself up to be disapointing. However, your Events tend to hit closer to the Mark than some for me. I look forward to seeing more from you, and I expect to experience them from a GM, rather than a GH. Your dedication to your work in events, are clear, and noticed by myself, and a lot of other people. Thank you, and, I wish you the best of luck in your Application, you'll make a great GM, and I have the feeling it'll be sooner than later.
  22. I love to write, and I get what you mean, a lot of people want to give a +1 and add some feedback, but not everyone wants to give a big wall of text over it. You're not a Narcissist for responding to this, and I'm happy to have given a golden example. I'll go more in depth when I've woken up, although I'm happy to play Adviser here as well. There are a couple glaring things, in regards to 212th, but I have faith, in you, and in 212th, to handle it.
  23. +1 I would like to start this by saying that I am a Commander of 212th on another Server, while that's not to pull Rank, I think it's safe to say I'm a 212th Boyo at Heart. Despite him saying that he doesn't want to mention his work as a Jedi, I would, although I'll keep it brief. If you were to tell me Jagger and Ahbo were the same person five minutes ago, I wouldn't believe you, not just because his Jedi has a really thick accent, but because it feels like a different person. I don't have any worry about him staying in character as Cody, and I'm looking forward to seeing him as Cody. I don't think there's any questioning his Loyalty to the Orange Stripes, something i'm glad to say, however I am worried about how 212th will function on SR. This could be me, coming from a 212th with a bit of an in your face culture than a lot of other 212th's i've seen, however 212th hasn't really popped out to me on SR. In Regards to Functionality, I don't just mean in Combat wise, but more so, Strategically [501st tends to make the Initial push, 21'st Boards, 187th Paratroops, DU defends, Rancor works with Main forces or as Heavy Recon]. It'd be great to see 212th helping 501st make some Big pushes, although it's a shame to see the lack of TX's you guys get here. Overall, Jagger strikes me as a friendly person, not only eager to help his own Battalion, as well as others. His Professional stature, while keeping the Warm Demeanor is something that most Cody's, if not all should aspire to have. While my experience with 212th has been far more limited than I'd like, it's sadly led to me not being able to meet the Previous Cody, however Jagger is difficult to miss. While not everyone can have the Super Power of being oddly active on Gmod Servers that I've somehow obtained, Jagger is often there, whether as Ahbo, or as his XO. Often it's hard to play as a Lore Character, because despite being something that you've worked hard to Obtain, and something that you've clearly earned should you get the Position and hold it, it's hard for it to feel like it's your own. Jagger, has a habit of making his Characters, feel like his characters, whether through Atmosphere. I look forward to seeing Jagger's spin on Cody, how he'll make the character his own, how far 212th will go under him, and I'm confident that I'll get to see it. Good luck Jagger, I doubt you'll need it.
