+1 We have let worse individuals back, and he didn't have to admit to the extra ban evading, since it seems no one realized it at first. The fact he is going out of his way to be 100% honest either means he's genuine, or he's prepping for an acting career. Either way, there is no real harm in unbanning him. If he fucks up, ban. Simple as that.

Not necessarily. As with anything electronic, anything that requires higher amount of power will generate heat, which I would imagine a personal cloaking device would. Even if it had cooling to try and return itself to the temperature of its surroundings, there would still be a visible outline of the person. You might miss it if you aren't paying attention, but you would definitely see it. As for shattering the balance of detecting cloaking individuals and counterbalancing, a couple of things. Firstly, how can you guarantee that it will not shatter the balance of cloak detection? Technically speaking, you can completely lock down the base from cloakers by having an RC in SHB hallway, both MHB hallways (with the big doors closed), and the entrance to that CiC/Control Room overseeing MHB. Hell, you could remove 3 RC from the equation by just having one RC at the entrance to armory, and then cloakers are unable to get into anything important. For counterbalancing Guild Spies w/ Jetpacks, a couple other things. First and foremost, jetpacks on the black market on damn expensive. 1000 renown for the Spy job, followed by the costs for being in a clan, followed by 200 renown per jetpack. Tbh, doesn't seem like something that is much worth countering. Secondly, no matter how good cloaking tech is, there's no such thing as a silent jetpack. An RC can just follow the sound and wait for them to land. Finally, why is countering another player-job something we are striving for? This isn't a PvP server, where you get VBucks for your new skins and emotes. This is a RP server, and setting up jobs in order to counter others is kinda cringe. Just RP that shit. Problem solved.

Good logic, but correct me if I'm wrong, the macrobinoculars/visors are capable of the same thing, so then does that mean just everyone can see cloak? Most models, if not all, even have the bodygrouper for the visors available

-1 Yeah, everyone already summed it up pretty well, plus, lets not forget that some peeps will have a hard time discerning when a Null is in their Mando armor or when they are not, since a portion of clone armor designs are really similar to the Mando's to begin with

Star Wars doesn't exist in Real World, but Jediism is a thing. It would be entirely realistic for the possibility of something akin to modern religions popping up. "Jesus could walk on water due to the Force" type deal. Not to mention, its been shown that god like entities exist in SW. Gonna stop saying "Things don't exist" and start saying "Things aren't shown to exist". It doesn't mean they don't, it just means we don't know if they do. Havoc Squad aren't shown to exist, but we have them on the server is a good example too

Bruh, Logic, you only posted this cause somebody has their BH character as Joshua Graham from Fallout New Vegas and is RPing them as they should. The point of the rules is not to be offensive. Joshua literally just talks about being a pastor and "The Lord's work must be done." In what way, shape, or form, is that offensive? -1

Its funny that people say this doesn't fit in RP, but IRL Soldiers joke around with their squads in quite similar ways. Fortnite Dancing (as cringe as fortnite is) is not outside of the realm of possibility. Clones have opportunities to go off and mingle, days of leave, etc, and may spend that time simply hanging out with their brothers. Its much more realistic than, say, 50% of the events that occur happening. I see an even number of pros and cons for this, so I honestly cannot say a definitive +1/-1. However, I do feel that using the "It hurts my RP" as a poor excuse for a -1

@Forseen Did Ghoul ever get back to staff on Cornwell's previous ban appeal? Also on that old ban appeal, some individuals pointed out that one of the individuals (Raider I believe) had a list of emails and IP addresses, and lived in the same state as Ghoul. Is that of any concern?

Lets be honest, there's two ways this can go. Either A: he comes back and is chill, problem solved. The other hand, B: he gets banned after messing up his second chance. Problem solved. There is really no harm in unbanning him other than hurt feelings, but things will ultimately resolve themselves. He be chill or he be permabanned, easy peasy.

+1 The idea of tuning to the frequency of a patrol as Naval to get updates sounds amazing, or BH, sneaking around to try and mess with troopers on their frequencies. It would be an amazing step into immersion for all sorts of events

The code for the disintegration already exists for the fifth shot (assuming the weapon is coded in gLua), and if anything, adding the disintegration to all shots would simplify the code to that weapon, since it currently has to check the state of the magazine on the killshot to determine whether or not to apply the effects. If changed to be applied to all shots, it removes the if statement. Coding Examples: (syntax will prolly be wrong, this is just to show the process) Current Code- ammo = 5; onKill : if(ammo>1) [ ammo = ammo -1; ] else [ applyEffect(disintegrate, killedPlayer); ammo= ammo - 1;] New Code ammo = 5; onKill : applyEffect(disintegrate, killedPlayer); SInce the disintegrate effect is tied to the combine energy ball, I believe the multiple effects that are mixed to make it are bundled as a single function/effect

+1 Would be very useful for small, RP focused dupes or other similar things

Accidental RDM is still RDM. Don't punch people like your braincells reverted to monke status

+1 If you -1, you sus Joke aside, yeah, no real reason to keep the ban going

"We're not renaming Shadow Company." -Yes you are. "everyone always get confused with "whats the point of shadow company they don't have their own jobs!" -It doesn't help when there are at max 2 active SC at one time, hence why me and Slak worked on an actual tryout to make it not a inactive mess "they only wanna listen to one person and be delusional and lunatic instead of actually seeing OUR issues in the battalion." -Aren't you only wanting to listen to one person rather than listening to all the feedback people are putting in? "With this new unit will come new armor (models) for 21st" -Have you contacted a modeler? Talked to anyone that deals with models? Last I heard (when I was still in the bat) we never got our models we were owed after winning BvB Season 2 "Jets Unit was actually seen in 3 episodes of the clone wars." -Yeah, that's called SO. That is what everyone calls Jet's Unit. "Jets Unit would Give the LORE Character Commander Jet his LORE Accuracy." -Okay? You want lore? Get a Commander Jet Job. Done. There's lore. "It would give others in Spec Ops as a whole something cool to look forward to." -This was the point of SC, what stops Jet's Unit from being just as dead? New models (that probably won't come in the first place) only attract people for so long, and I guarantee that they won't give Jet's Unit both Cloaks and an extra piece of equipment on top of branch loadouts. "You don't see what happens behind closed doors in the battalion" - Considering how previous members literally shut down a previous iteration of this idea, the fact that you waited for them to leave the battalion before posting the idea again is some shady shit "Therefor not all of you understand the struggles in SO and the Drama with SC." -Oh trust me, I know, and you should know it very well yourself. "I'm tired of being shitted on for anything I post. I guarantee if Oxen put up the suggestion that it would get more +1's than mine would." -Yeah, it would, cause people like and trust Oxen. "all I get out of it is just massive disrespect." -I swear, I hear this phrase every single time someone posts a thing and gets feedback on it they don't like. I wanna do a callback to a conversation me and you had back when you joined SO. We talked a lot about ARF and ARC, professionalism, that type of thing. But the main thing, was respect. There were two things I know for a fact I talked with you about, although it moreso applied to some NCOs at the time of the conversation. The first, is that you don't need to be an officer to get respect. Self explanatory. The second though, apparently not. The second is that respect is never deserved, never given, but always earned. Earn respect, and you'll get respect.

-1 Nah mate, this is the exact thing that I was against when in SO. First and foremost: You already have KU, SO, and SC (which SC is now empty save for legacy members) and ARC is really the main job people in SO go for, since ARF is decent but doesn't give much for RP other than Recon, and Medics are, well, medics. Secondly, why? Why do you NEED Jet's unit? Jet's unit WAS SO. Take care of SO and SC and there is literally no reason for a Jet's unit. If you replace an empty branch, what you get is a new empty branch. Finally, making Jet an named ARC Job. Did you contact Rancor about this? Changes to ARC jobs like that should be discussed, just like the old concerns with the KU Assault trooper back when they wanted to require ARC training for it.

Either the new layer's Outpost or some permaprops on the small settlement would work rather well for BH.

Can we wait like 20 days so he has been banned 180 days, aka half a year, and then see where this goes?

How long has this fella been banned for already?
