  1. -1 Remember my speech on using the past for knowledge, to keep the future progressing? Yeah, I do too. Statistics state certain things are gonna happen, and I can't be assed to go into detail. Dennis got good things going for him, and he's got bad things things going for him. I feel, from past experience with both 21st and Dennis, that Dennis isn't the right fit for what 21st needs. If DU was the one in this situation, I would probably have different input.

  6. 10/10 So much fun, from RP to combat. Good balance between Plus it was fun pissing off the racist CIS Command
  7. So what you're telling me is that this mans is an NCO and still doesn't know he's on a SWRP server?
  8. Tbh, pretty sure this boy be doing a little bit of trolling He has no rep, and his two posts are the exact same thing
  9. Aight, two things. First, why should someone who does not play on the server, does not have experience with the battalions presently, or any involvement in how things work with said battalion, get the ability to decide what happens with it? That's like me going into Sam's Club despite not working there for almost 3 years and telling the store manager who to fire, hire, demote, promote, and all that jazz. If I did that, I'd be laughed at, called an idiot, and told that my input doesn't matter. 2ndly, who gives an honest fuck what anyone did in the past. The past is there to learn from, not to control the present and future. Anyone who knows a lick of leadership knows that the future is the most important direction, and should always head forwards. The present only exists to prepare for the future. The past should be used for info and data, and nothing else. Anyone who lets the past control the future are the same types of people who let one bad experience of eating Taco Bell turn them away from all delicious Mexican food. Legacies exist to remind you of the past. That is it. You can ASK them to do other things, if you wish, but a Legacy's power should end the second they leave the CMD/BCMD seat. Legacy is like a badge of honor. You don't get power from a badge of honor, you get recognition for your deeds of the past, and that is the only thing it should ever be.
  10. Its funny that people say this doesn't fit in RP, but IRL Soldiers joke around with their squads in quite similar ways. Fortnite Dancing (as cringe as fortnite is) is not outside of the realm of possibility. Clones have opportunities to go off and mingle, days of leave, etc, and may spend that time simply hanging out with their brothers. Its much more realistic than, say, 50% of the events that occur happening. I see an even number of pros and cons for this, so I honestly cannot say a definitive +1/-1. However, I do feel that using the "It hurts my RP" as a poor excuse for a -1
  11. +1 Considering how I have been quite busy with work, school, and projects, the fact that I've heard a good amount of people vouching for Robb's character is a good sign
  12. @DinaricHow am I wrong, since you expressed a "Dumb" on my understanding of the points brought about?
  13. -1 No Mas Amedda > An Unfit Mas Amedda Plus all the stuff the other said
  14. So, just a kind a summary of both sides of the discussion as I understand after reading: Logic's Proposal: For Reports concerning the breaking of rules or breaches of duty, the only individuals who should comment on said reports are those capable of providing some form of evidence either for or against the punishment of the reported individual, so as to better help the High Command reach an informed decision. This would in term, restrict those from leaving their opinions/memes in the discussion of the reported individual and keeping things focused. Opposed: As Synergy adopted the saying of "By the players, for the players", everyone should be allowed to have their input on reports, regardless of whether or not they actually provide anything meaningful to the discussion or provide evidence, but instead to just provide a (potentially partially uninformed) community opinion on the matter. In some cases, this may be to determine the severity of the punishment, even though punishments are supposed to be pretty set in stone for most rules and rarely budge (save for extremely special circumstance) if the decision is fully and entirely unbiased. DId I get that right?

  16. Technically not failrp in that case but could be considered ERP
  17. So something I am somewhat confused, I am seeing individuals saying he has helped the battalions under his jurisdiction, and others who are saying he has not. Which is it? Because both sides cannot be right. Some 21st members are saying Gadget helped their battalion, while other individuals are saying Gadget has not. What kind malarkey is that? +1 for this guy Quoted Examples: Also, quick counterpoint... First and foremost, it is ultimately up to the players whether or not they choose to continue operating under a certain battalion. Anyone of higher power cannot simply command the players to stay in a battalion in order to keep it active, as it is ultimately up to the players of that battalion to stay active and remain a presence on the server. If you are unaware, recent happenings (past few months) in 21st led to many individuals leaving for calmer waters, as is their right in the player base, leaving behind those most resilient against the ways of drama and other issues that arise from social interactions (like Spade, who has been around for quite a long time). Truthfully speaking, there is virtually nothing that someone in Gadget's position could do to rectify the situation, save for giving what leadership remains in the battalion a reassuring pat on the back to stay strong through tough times and some ideas to reinvent training or appearance on the server. That is the way of these things. The actions of one individual can only do so much to affect the actions of the many, and frankly, most players on this server prefer to jump ship when the going gets rough in a battalion, because this is a GAME. No one comes here specifically because "Ah yes, I like watching my group of friends scatter and vanish like paycheques during quarantine, while being able to do only the most menial of tasks in order to counteract it. I am glad I don't come here to have fun and relax, to leave behind the responsibilities of the real world for some time in order to give myself some peace of mind." People come here for fun, as hard as that is to believe. Ultimately, if no one is having fun with 21st, there will be no 21st, save for those who wish to bring back the fun that used to exist. In the end, this idea that the regimental commander's success or failure is heavily determined by something so completely out of their control is insane, and a poor choice in which to base future terms and qualifications off of. Aight rant over, I need a drink
  18. You don't need to apologize, it was their actions not yours. All posts are for things that GMs/GHs need to keep an eye on in order to continue growing and improving their events, no hard feelings are behind it.
  19. Almost everything was decent, worthy of around 5-7 out of ten, but here is the one main thing that occured that docked the score for me. Control your GHs. At one point during the event, Jedi are roaming the area around the outposts trying to see where the tanks are coming from during the latter half of the event. They discover a CIS Artillery Cannon at Aurek, and jump in to destroy it as it is not guarded. A GH (who will go unnamed for now so as to avoid drama happening in the AAR) flies in cloaked and says something along the lines of "What the hell, screw it." Followed by the GH bombing the Jedi with turbolasers out of nowhere, with no forewarning. That type of GH can kill your encounters, and so I encourage you to be highly vigilant in keeping an eye on your GHs. It may end up saving the quality of an encounter
  20. +1 Lets me Vacuum BCC when I'm drunk
  21. @Forseen Did Ghoul ever get back to staff on Cornwell's previous ban appeal? Also on that old ban appeal, some individuals pointed out that one of the individuals (Raider I believe) had a list of emails and IP addresses, and lived in the same state as Ghoul. Is that of any concern?
  22. Lets be honest, there's two ways this can go. Either A: he comes back and is chill, problem solved. The other hand, B: he gets banned after messing up his second chance. Problem solved. There is really no harm in unbanning him other than hurt feelings, but things will ultimately resolve themselves. He be chill or he be permabanned, easy peasy.

    Add ComLink

+1 The idea of tuning to the frequency of a patrol as Naval to get updates sounds amazing, or BH, sneaking around to try and mess with troopers on their frequencies. It would be an amazing step into immersion for all sorts of events
  24. Single handedly carried BH-Senator relations xD +1
