This is the excuse every time we get a map rotation suggestion involving the venator Nothing changes with rotating to the venator map. all I hear is "IT WILL BE A CHANGE OF PACE FOR ONCE" each time that map gets brought up then the server population drops even worse when we switch to it on main. Many older players have fond memories of it like myself. The problem is that map has so much issues with lag you have to gimp yourself for events including when SOBDE has fucking tryouts. I will only +1 if the venator is thrown out of the window.

-1 Gotta have funding for the server plus relies on trusting people. There's already certain abuse with them to begin with.

-1 Couple of things: Very few people are not VIP. There's always someone gifting it to others so this wouldn't change much if nothing at all. Trusting people with this on the new system will be hell by making these public. Very few minges actually put money down for VIP regardless so expect this to be abused. This is likely the main reason why this will be denied straight up by a founder.

-1 I recall the 212th incident and you straight up coming into a training to harass someone and refusing to leave after being told to 60 days is fair punishment for thinking you can get away with being a complete dickhead to people over Teamspeak and get away with it.

Oh man. On one hand, I agree about some stuff being spoken about here. On the other, I disagree about some of the topics. As for numbers: Garry's mod isn't really dying so to speak but we are not seeing the numbers like we did in 2013-2018 when the game was in it's prime. You had gamemodes like DarkRP, Pirateship Wars (the remake), GMTower, Zombie Survival/ etc. There was also a HUGE number of people coding stuff for Garry's mod during this time and also creating new maps. There is indeed quite a majority waiting for S#box now but the number has stayed constant to a degree. As for player retainment: There have been plenty of times where a certain part of the server goes into the shitter and people start pitchforking for it's removal. Most of the time it's due to a major change not really well liked. For example: Bounty Hunters due to some RP revamp so they don't have a coinvent way of saying they have cloaks or BARCs stored and nobody could actually vouch for it. 21st for the changes Brooklyn/Dennis/etc made to the battalion after the wipe. These made people want to not be part of the server aka the player retainment issue. 327th and 91st is not one of these cases. Yes, 327th often had the short straw pulled compared to other battalions. One thing about 327th was problematic leadership often allowing people to do stupid shit without punishment. I.E: Poe constantly getting arrest and a certain major playing Alabama *CENSORED* in DB to protest an arrest...while drunk. The other thing is that K-company didn't bring anything new to their table and often brought people looking at 212th aka what Comics mentioned. I still find it harsh that 327th was never really given a chance. I wanted to at least give it until Willy's term was up before anything before removal. 91st is a different beast. Some saw it as a carbon copy. Others saw it kind of elitist. The main issue was their HC fishing people to other servers that ended with their sudden removal. Now to the topic at hand: -1 Something has got to give but removal should be the last step. Every-fucking-time we get one of these threads, We get chatter of "HEY *INSERT THIS REMOVED HERE* IS GONE NOW SO NOW WE CAN REPLACE IT WITH *INSERTED FORMERLY REMOVED HERE* and it'll be great!" How about we deal with what we have and stop the revolving door. (this is weirdly typed due to me being tired from work. sorry)

I was a big fan of the flat floor of the cells in brig because people couldn't glitch out of them. As for this map.... Remove the stairs. Adjust the floor to be level with the hallway floor so people cannot sit and glitch out. Implementation: Flatten the cell floor, make them glitch proof. Lore: None at all. Workshop content if applicable: Require Development (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development")

First of all, There was more than one account involved. I know you have seen me and other staff members ban people for evasion so I have no idea why you are stating you had no idea this was a rule. Hell, Any type of server or forums will ban you for this shit as well. Secondly, You constantly cause trouble from the moment you connect to the server. You state you "tried" to roleplay when you first started on the server but clearly you have no intent with the amount of bans and arrests you have on the server. -1 Stay gone.

It's 100% clientside. All this does is set some settings like: cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 2 r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1 r_threaded_particles 1 r_threaded_renderables 1 r_queued_ropes 1 studio_queue_mode 1 (or mat_queue_mode -1 in gmod's case) cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 M9KGasEffect 0 gmod_mcore_test 1 Not dissing on this but it really does not need a server suggestion but more of a topic if founders want to look into it more as suggestions for people. You could legit just edit your autoexec file that gmod uses and include everything this does.

Weren't the full size ones denied due to crashing and lag issues?

I'll give context but I ain't voting to completely stay out of this. Several months ago, There was a group of people whom were actively raiding the server and causing non-stop issues. It led up to several of them spamming connecting / joining messages on event server and main server which had names that were extremely racist. Flowers was one of them. I can't speak if he genuinely wants to be part of the community. Granted they haven't been on awhile until recently and he did post a ban appeal after I suggested it. This is completely up to y'all at this point.

@Brim Was there any other names you went by? The only reason if you were kept banned was if you did something really fucked up. Although they could have missed you but there's no telling without looking around.
