Steam Name: Vires RP Name: RC 12 Ion Team EOD Vires Steam ID (SteamID Finder): STEAM_1:1:42290260 Battalion or squad you are applying for: Delta Squad Boss Experience: Shadow Company The very first battalion I ever joined on the server was Shadow Company, now called Special Operations. I was only in the battalion for about a week but in that short time I earned the rank of Cpl before moving onto another unit where I would stay for some time. Null After my first week in Synergy in SO I managed to pass the Null tryouts and hold the position of N-7 Mereel Skirata. While in Null I participated in the infamous Null drills helping battalions in many different fields that Cipher deemed appropriate, be it teaching medical personel or just other troopers in triage or combat drills. I also assisted like most of the other Null when it came to running tryouts whenever one of our spots would open up I was in Null from Mid October until Later November where I would make my next advancement into a new squad. Ion Team I joined Ion team after passing the tryouts for the team’s unnamed EOD, taking the name of Vires. At the time when I first joined is when we were under the command of Metro, as well as having Woeny as Ras and Ginyu as Trace, probably the best Ion Team roster in my opinion. While under Metro I would assist in training others in roleplay, mainly in EOD since that was my specialty but I also helped others with doing TECH on my spare time. At this time we also still did the EOD & TECH trainings so I helped in evaluating the ability of our troopers in EOD and TECH and giving them advice to be able to better their skills if needed. After Metro’s & Ginyu’s departure from Ion Team and Woeny stepped up I ended up playing a much larger role in Ion Team. Getting a lot more involved with the team. Helping with tryouts like usual but on top of that I would hold my own tryouts for our spots with the help of some Null or other RCs that were on at the time. Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: I believe that I’m fit and able to become Delta Squad Boss due to my experience in dealing with my fellow SOBDE units like Null, since I’ve been in the squad and have operated with them on numerous occasions as well as our other RC squads when out on deployments or on the ship. I've also hosted some tryouts for Woeny/Climber whenever he wasn’t able to, so I'd be holding tryouts often to fill my spots in Ion Team that were empty. This allowed for me to start getting used to some of the responsibilities a RC squad lead would have to undertake. I’ve also gained the experience in not just Synergy but other servers and my embarrassingly high amount of hours on GMOD swrp. I also believe that I’ve got the good qualities and skills necessary to be a leader that I’ve learned not just from commanders that I’ve been under, but when I’ve had to be in a position of command myself. Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?: Of course, I’ve had to study up the lore of the different roles and what the team has performed to even consider being confident enough to go for it and to properly interact with Delta as a Ion Team member. Availability: My work schedule tends to fluctuate and isn’t really consistent, but if I’m not scheduled for that day my availability will be the following. Monday-Thursday: 4pm-10pm Friday-Sunday: Any time basically Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?: Since late September of last year(2017). I also plan to keep my team active and to make overall improvements in any and all areas where it's possible. Hello everyone. It is sad to say that I will be leaving this synergy roleplay for real this time. This has nothing to do with the server or the community but more myself. I don't have as much time as I did when I came back and with me being sick I do not want to have the Barriss position along with my COL position and not be able to do anything with them. So yeah. I don't think I will be coming back this time but I don't know. My name is Joseph, I started playing on Ice**** in january, i decided i would join Dooms unit when Hyper was commander, And after that i left DU becuase it was not my thing, I left icefuse for a while. I joined back in may and became a 187th PVT, Ever since than i have been in love with the purple pride legion, I loved being apart of 187th, At some point in Icefuse, I reached the rank of T-mod and 2ndLT in 187th (about mid july). Then of course joah got banned, And i knew i had to join synergy with 187th, after a few months and some other battalions, I decided to join 101st when forge had just become commander, I enjoyed my time and rose to the rank of commander (around september?) there and stayed until everyone decided they were going to go back to 187th (Jirachi. Jason . Forge. And myself) After about 2 weeks myself. Jirachi . And Jason all became commanders for 187th. And for about 2 months, We had a good ammount of fun, And then reaper resigned, And everything went to shit and we ended up being removed, I joined a few battalions, And after that i became most notable for my roles as a Coruscant Guard CPT, And then when Halpert got commander, I was given the role of CPT Thire, after about a month of being thire, I quit, I was burnt out, And idk i was sad becuase the only battalions i had ever really loved were removed from the server, I then quit the server, I came back got banned for doing something, And i lost all of my friends on the server (Note: Ik you guys will never forgive me for it, But just know im sorry forge and jirachi, I fucked up im sorry). Just because the battalion is doing well does mean we should move them around. SOBDE has 4 squads and DU. Makes sense to have at least 1 Battalion in there and DU makes the most sense at this point. -1

I think that DU is fine as SOBDE. The regiment is SOBDE after all, rather than RC. Just because we aren't RC doesn't mean we can't be SOBDE. I don't necessarily feel that we should be a massive battalion with hundreds of people, although having 25 people on at the same time is not a bad thing. Just because we are big doesn't mean that we aren't SOBDE. SOBDE doesn't stand for "small battalion." It demonstrates that we are the best of the best at what we do, and we are just that. Our shields, bonus armor, and widespread Z-6s across the battalion is what makes us SOBDE. Not just that, but the hard work and time so many members of Dooms Unit invest into our battalion and our success. I think any sane, active person on the server knows that DU is a special operations brigade, not just specialized. Of course, there are a few people who need to be straightened out, and that will always be an issue for any battalion with the ability to prop kill, but we are SOBDE, and I plan on carrying out that responsibility. There will always be things a battalion does right and wrong. I think changing us to specialized battalions rather than SOBDE would be a mistake. For that reason I have to give this a massive... -1 Being a large battalion, or unit in our case, does not mean we lose our title as special operations brigade. This post honestly just seems like another complaint that basically says "oh DU is too big for a dead battalion." I disagree with your suggestion, and if it truly didn't matter, you wouldn't be making this post. P.S. I think we are closer to Null and RC than GM and RM.
