What's Your Favorite SW Scene(s)/Moment?

Hello everyone,

I feel like starting a nice little conversation or discussion today. What is you guy's favorite Star Wars moment? It could be a scene from a movie, comic, TV Show, etc. If your favorite moment from Star Wars was multiple scenes that add up into 1 big moment like Duel of the Fates, etc, that counts too!

My favorite moment from Star Wars is the aftermath of Vader and Luke's fight on the second Death Star. Specifically the moment where Luke beats Vader in rage and then lets go of it all to stand up to the Emperor, proudly proclaiming he is now a Jedi Knight; which then results in the Emperor electrocuting him and Vader redeeming himself by throwing Palpatine down the shaft. I think there is a lot to unpack from that scene. Dave Filoni once talked about it in better detail then I ever could in a behind the scenes Disney+ special called Disney Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

If you are interested go ahead and give it a watch, he specifically talks about it in Season 1 Episode 2 "Legacy" at around 21:15. Now I will say, at the timestamp he technically begins by talking about Phantom Menace but what he talks about in Phantom Menace goes along with what he thinks about that scene from Return of the Jedi. Most if not all the stuff he mentions from that timestamp onwards builds up to that moment and its beautiful. To sum it up however, given newer context of the prequel's, that scene has a lot of love, emotion, and history behind why Vader redeems himself, why Luke tosses his lightsaber to the side, and other things that make the scene beautiful.

Ending of Return of the Jedi will always be my favorite.  It feels like the perfect end to the saga.

"Well have you noticed the shields are still up?"- exclaimed Obi-wan Kenobi.

"Oh, im sorry master"-retorted Skywalker, flipping his ship over Kenobi's and firing down the **EXTERNAL FUCKING SHIELD GENERATOR FOR THE LANDING BAY BECAUSE THAT MADE SO MUCH SENSE.**



and the of course the attempted landing of the cis frigate after rescuing Palpatine was awesome visually.

I concur, When Luke burns Vader/Anakin's body and whispers to himself "This is it, This is the Return of the Jedi"

Favorite line is when Palpatine is walking down the hallway towards Anakin in Episode 3 and he goes "Anakin, it's you! You're the revenge of the sith"

Mine was in episode 2 at the end where Anakin is on that LAAT and he turns to Obi-Wan and goes "What are we, some kind of Attack of The Clones?"

Hands down had to be Qui Gon class line when seeing Darth Maul saying "Its you Darth Maul! Your the phantom menance"
