The First Battle of Geonosis

On Friday, March 4 the Battle of Geonosis will commence. This will be the largest and most ambitious event ever conducted on Synergy. The Synergy Lore Team will be hosting 2 Main Server map changes and all 4 regimental deployments over the weekend. The day-long Anaxes deployments were just the testing grounds. Our mission is to provide the most immersive experience possible following every major lore event that occurs throughout the Clone Wars and Geonosis will be the grand opening to the Synergy Clone Wars lore timeline. You definitely won't want to miss the weekend of March 4 - 6.

 

Weekend breakdown:

Kamino (Friday)

Instead of normally changing the map to the Venator we will be switching the map to Kamino.  If you are interested in fully immersing yourself into the event we HIGHLY encourage you all to get off of your battalion whitelists and onto the CT job. There will be no jedi allowed to roam around during the short time that we are on Kamino as during this time in lore, Obi Wan is the only jedi that discovers the existence of Kamino (you can expect an encounter with Obi Wan on Kamino.....). We have obtained permission from jedi leadership and so we ask that all Jedi to switch to the clone job temporarily during this time. 

 

Geonosis (Friday)

The real fun begins at around 6:30pm EST as Jedi will be deployed to the Event Server to save Master Kenobi from the clutches of the CIS. Soon after the Jedi reach Geonosis, the Clones will be split across the Main server and the Event Server and The First Battle of Geonosis will begin on both servers at the same time. After the initial invasion is complete on Friday night, the main server will be switched back to the venator. 

 

Attack: On March 5th, 6:30pm EST. The Attack regiment will all be filling the boots of the 501st legion during their first ever mission to Geonosis. There, they will be given a variety of objectives to complete, overseen and given orders by an unnamed clone commander as portrayed in the Rise of The Empire campaign from the original Battlefront 2.

Siege: On March 5th, 3pm EST. The Siege regiment will be deploying to the event server where they will be filling the boots of a Republic demolitions team laying siege to an occupied droid factory. Once they complete their initial objectives, their focus will be diverted to walker escort and destruction of an escaping core ship as portrayed in galactic assault in Battlefront 2.

Spec: On March 6th, 6:30pm EST, specialized regiment will be deployed for the final mission to Geonosis. They will be led by Delta squad and will need to complete all of their designated objectives as seen in Republic Commando in order to end the battle once and for all.

Operations: On March 6th, 3:00pm EST, the newly created operations regiment will be deployed to the event server as the first wave after the main attack with the goal of preventing as many techno union transport ships and Lucrehulk core ships from leaving the planet as possible so that future operations can take place without the Separatists escaping the planet, as portrayed in the movie and the original Battlefront campaign.

This is exciting and all but I have to call cap on this statement.

 

We used to have deployments weekend where it was non stop deployment and events and shit  and that was the biggest. 

 

Obviously this could be bigger but let's not over hyper this like Cyberpunk 2077.

 

But nonetheless sounds exciting, but wish it was earlier as 5:30 on is 10:30 pm for me but all the luck to ya and I hope it doesn't go wrong or the server crashes as Kamino can be unstable and laggy even when nothing is happening.

This is going to be extremely exciting! I feel like this opportunity will also allow for people to make new connections on the server, especially for Kamino! With everyone being the same rank and on the same level, the only difference between us will be numbers. This means new connections and new opportunities!
